Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei has boasted: “Be aware that enemies cannot do a damn thing against the Islamic Republic and that Islam’s and the Islamic Republic’s power and authority is growing.”
And with that said, Iran, the leading Shia country, in which homosexuality is punishable by death under Islamic law, is torturing “lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender children” with electric shocks and hormones.
Peter Tatchell, a British LGBTQ and human rights activist, stated that “these abuses echo anti-LGBT+ medical treatments by the Nazis and other fascist regimes.” Indeed, the Iranian regime shares much in common with the Nazis, including virulent hatred of the Jews.
Unfortunately, Iran will scoff at the UN’s posturing, knowing full well that the UN will continue to give the Islamic regime a free pass. The UN adopted 17 resolutions against Israel in 2020 alone, yet there, the LGBTQ community has equal rights. Meanwhile, the UN adopted only one resolution against the extremely abusive Iranian regime.
“Iran’s use of ‘electric shocks’ on gay children is torture, says UN report,” by Benjamin Weinthal, Jerusalem Post, February 12, 2021:
A UN report released Wednesday on widespread human rights violations in the Islamic Republic of Iran contains shocking findings that the theocratic state imposed electric torture on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender children.
The UN Special Rapporteur for the Islamic Republic of Iran, Javaid Rehman, wrote that he is “concerned at reports that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender children were subjected to electric shocks and the administration of hormones and strong psychoactive medications. These practices amount to torture and cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment, and violate the State’s obligations under the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the Convention on the Rights of the Child.”
Peter Tatchell, a British LGBTQ+ and human rights campaigner, told The Jerusalem Post that “It is a shocking revelation that the Iranian regime subjects LGBT+ children to electric shocks, hormone treatments and psychoactive medications in a bid to ‘cure’ their sexual orientation & gender identity. These abuses echo anti-LGBT+ medical treatments by the Nazis and other fascist regimes.”
He added that “Javaid Rehman rightly condemns these abuses as a form of torture and in violation of international human rights law. Iran should be expelled from international medical associations and conferences.”
Tatchell said the “The UN Special Rapporteur has issued a damning report that confirms systemic persecution of women, LGBTs, human rights defenders, regime critics, trade unionists and ethnic and religious minorities.”
According to the report, “The Special Rapporteur regrets that individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender experience human rights violations and widespread discrimination. Senior officials describe the community in hateful terms, including by labelling individuals as ‘subhuman’ and ‘diseased.”’
He added that “The death penalty can be imposed for consensual sexual activity between members of the same sex in the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
The Post has previously reported that a 2008 British WikiLeaks cable said that Iran’s regime has executed between 4,000-6,000 gays and lesbians since the nation’s 1979 Islamic revolution….

No, Mike, the punishments are based mainly on the Sira and hadiths and CODIFIED in Sharia law:
Here’s what Sharia law actually says about punishing homosexuals: flogging, stoning, thrown from high place, wall pushed over to crush, burned to death.
– Islam Question and Answer says: “The crime of homosexuality is one of the greatest of crimes, the worst of sins and the most abhorrent of deeds, and Allaah punished those who did it in a way that He did not punish other nations. It is indicative of violation of the fitrah, total misguidance, weak intellect and lack of religious commitment, and it is a sign of doom and deprivation of the mercy of Allaah.”
– In the Hanafi school of thought, the homosexual is first punished through harsh beating, and if he/she repeats the act, the death penalty is to be applied.
– In the Shafi`i school of thought, the homosexual receives the same punishment as adultery (if he/she is married) or fornication (if not married). This means, that if the homosexual is married, he/she is stoned to death, while if single, he/she is whipped 100 times. Hence, the Shafi`i compares the punishment applied in the case of homosexuality with that of adultery and fornication.
– In the Hanafi school, the two acts are differentiated, because anal sex [something that is prohibited, regardless of orientation] may also be involved, while in adultery [and fornication], the penis/vagina (which are reproductive parts) are involved.
– Some scholars hold the opinion that homosexuals should be thrown from a high building or stoned to death as a punishment for their crime, but other scholars maintain that they should be imprisoned until death occurs through starvation.
-Some of them (Islamic jurists) said that he should be punished in the same way as an adulterer, so he should be stoned if he is married and flogged if he is not married.
-Another view is that between two males, the active partner is to be lashed a hundred times if he is unmarried, and killed if he is married; whereas the passive partner is to be killed regardless of his marital status.
-Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Abbaas said: The highest point in the town should be found and the homosexual should be thrown head first from it, then stones should be thrown at him.
Ibn ‘Abbaas derived this hadd punishment from the punishment that Allaah sent upon the homosexuals of the people of Loot.
– It is narrated from Khaalid ibn al-Waleed that he found a man among one of the Arab tribes with whom men would have intercourse as with a woman. He wrote to (caliph) Abu Bakr al-Siddeeq (may Allaah be pleased with him) and Abu Bakr al-Siddeeq consulted the Sahaabah (may Allaah be pleased with them).
‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib had the strongest opinion of all of them, and he said: “No one did that but one of the nations, and you know what Allaah did to them. I think that he should be burned with fire.” So Abu Bakr wrote to Khaalid and he had him burned.

The tile of this message is well put if it would be “homosexuals in Iran” and not “Homosexuals who live in Iran.” For many of them are six feet under in Iran as in dead and buried. As exposed in a book by a former Muslims .Which reveals that “Estimates by human rights activists and opponents of the Islamic Republic of Iran of the number of gay men and lesbian s executed for crimes related to their sexual orientation since 1979 vary between several hundred to as many as six thousand. According to the Boroumand Foundation, records exist for at least 107 executions with charges related to homosexuality between 1979 and 1990 . Iran is one of the eight countries in the world when homosexual acts are punishable by death; all are Islamic. According to a 2013 report from the IHRDC:” [1]

That photo of two openly Gay men in their shorts and T-shirts carrying the Flag of Iran while knowing that Government will throw them off the highest building makes me wonder when the Gay Pride Parade will stop by the Iranian Embassy and do a dance for them, as you know they would like it…. muslims are mostly in the closet, at least until they are married off by their parents. And even after that.
Some folks in England a while back were marching through the streets carrying a sign that stated Gays Against Sharia, and people started shouting and spiting at them, calling them racists, bigots and of course the classic, islamowhatsitcalled… you know… the thing… and as crazy as that may be, most of the people shouting and insulting them were NOT muslims…I wonder what Sarsour, the cockroach, has to say about her Gay friends around the islamic World.
OLD GUY says
Islam is a totally closed society, with dictatorship rule and no freedom other than that of the leaders. So why is Biden opening the borders to these islamic slave drivers. Nothing good will come from bringing in millions of muslims to America.

UN ‘concerned’ about Iran torturing ‘lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender’ youths with electric shocks and hormones
……………
Gee, I guess Ahmadinejad was wrong when he said there were no homosexuals in Iran…
In reality, this ugly abuse is orthodox Islam–not that the UN will ever acknowledge that fact.
