The Palestinian resistance is a jihadist assault on the state of Israel. It disseminates propaganda to justify human rights abuses that would never be tolerated if they were perpetrated by Christians or Jews. The so-called “far right” is routinely compared to Hitler, even though Hitler was leftist (as is evidenced by the name of his party, the National Socialist German Workers Party). Nazi Germany launched an “extensive propaganda campaign in the Middle East and North Africa during World War II.”
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has stated that no Jew will live in a Palestinian state. He also did his PhD dissertation in Holocaust denial. And now this. Yet far too many Western governments still support pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel resolutions at the UN, even as the Palestinians continue their gross antisemitism and jihadist attacks on the state of Israel, calling them a just “resistance” and manipulating victimhood in the face of historical truths.
Abbas teaches Palestinians that “Jews must be fought for Allah on behalf of all humanity.” The soft bigotry of low expectations allows the Palestinian leadership to scream victimhood while being the aggressor.
“Netanyahu is Hitler – Antisemitic Fatah cartoon,” by Nan Jacques Zilberdik, Palestinian Media Watch, March 2, 2021:
The antisemitic cartoon above was posted by Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah Commission of Information and Culture. It shows Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as Hitler with Hitler’s mustache and a Nazi uniform with Stars of David on blue instead of Swastikas on red on his tie and arm band. Netanyahu is making a Nazi salute and blood is dripping from his hand.
Headline: “He killed the Palestinians with the weapon of racism!”
Text on cartoon: “Adolf Netanyahu”[Website of the Fatah Commission of Information and Culture, Feb. 16, 2021]
The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA) internationally accepted working definition of Antisemitism, includes “drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.”
The PA and Fatah have often disseminated this specific kind of Antisemitism by comparing Israel in general and Netanyahu in particular to the Nazis. Fatah has portrayed Netanyahu as a Nazi officer:
Netanyahu has been called Nazi propaganda minister “Goebbels’ outstanding student”:
And recently Palestinian Media Watch documented that Netanyahu was referred to as “the ugly face of Mussolini and Hitler:
Israel as such has been called “fascist and Nazi” and the behavior of Israelis has been compared to that of the Nazisprosecuted at the Nuremberg trials….

Michael, germany was *full* of socialists, even before WWI, and especially afterwards. it was much like today’s US in early weimar germany, with almost all political figures espousing some form of socialism. the violence in the streets, however, was mostly between communist socialists and non-communist socialists. in fact, most early leaders of fascism in both germany and italy were either socialist or syndicalists. the thugs who eventually took over, regardless of their backgrounds, took over because using violence helped them to achieve the goals assigned to them within the Party much faster than those who limited themselves to persuasion alone. since socialism is essentially “rule by The Experts,” which experts could not tolerate *any* deviation from their policies, the path was paved for takeover of The Party by thugs. it happened with commies in russia, and it happened with fascists in germany and italy.
in fact, if U want to study the most successful fascist state in history, take a look at the PRC. they *allow* capitalism, as did germany and italy, which a commie would *NEVER* do. by allowing totally uninhibited capitalistic business practices, the PRC benefits by wealth generation, and the State still has total control of the economy for any goal they want to achieve. for instance, at one time, US and canadian producers of rare earths dominated the world market. the Party in the PRC wanted that market, because rare earths are used in very-high-strength magnets in some electric motors (and in head positioners in hard disk drives), so the Party forced consolidation of rare earth producers in china, and forced the price charged by the resulting producers of rare earth ingots to be below the price of raw ore taken from US and canadian mines; thus, all US and canadian rare earth mines closed, because they were instantly uneconomical. this is exactly how germany and italy were ruled by their respective fascist parties. it may be argued that fascism is a more-rational system than communism, because it retains the market feedback mechanism of capitalism, while retaining the dictatorial socialist practices arbitrarily imposed by The Party.
a lot of folks are unaware of syndicalism. this was turn-of-the-20th-century socialist-type idea which apparently originated in france, in which *all* the people in a geographic region were to be members of one organized labor organization, or perhaps just a few of them. the businesses were to be “owned” by the proletariat, and run for the benefit of same; as is usual for socialism, of course, The Experts would determine what the benefits would be that actually accrued to the proles. mussolini was the first socialist to adapt this to socialism, and hitler was the first who was unencumbered by a royal family and was thus able to *legally* seize absolute power.
in the early 2020s, we are witnessing the fourth rise of a fascist government here in the US, but because the current fascists running the national government are trying to instigate a race war to use as a wedge to destroy the american body politic, their eventual dictatorship may fracture. in germany and italy, there was racial homogeneity; there is also homogeneity of race in the PRC, but islam rears its ugly head in the northwest (and The Experts of The Party know how to handle that problem, thank U very much; they could have simply killed them all, as in the Cultural Revolution). fascists are nothing if not pragmatists, however, so if american fascists can stop the race-baiting soon, their dictatorship might have a better chance of surviving.
time is running out for freedom.

I study Arabic and one of the Dictionaries I commonly known as the Hans Wehr Dictionary, although the formal name is The Dictionary of Modern Written Arabic
It is an Arabic-English dictionary compiled by Hans Wehr and edited by J Milton Cowan.
I wondered about the prominence of this dictionary. It was originally an Arabic-German dictionary published in 1952.
In the back of my mind I suspected a Nazi connection, and sure enough I recently found this about eponymous Hans Wehr Dictionary compiler: Hans Wehr was a member of the National Socialist (Nazi) Party and argued that the Nazi government should ally with the Arabs against England and France. The Arabic-German dictionary project was funded by the Nazi government, which intended to use it to translate Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf into Arabic. Despite this, at least one Jewish scholar, Hedwig Klein, contributed to the dictionary. [1]
Hans Wehr even gives this Jewish scholar, Hedwig Klein mention as a contributor in the dictionary’s forward, but does not tell us of her fate.
About her fate I found the following:
The unknown Arabist
During the Nazi period, Hedwig Klein worked on a dictionary intended to help with the translation of Hitler’s diatribe “Mein Kampf” into Arabic. But it didn’t help the Arabist: she was murdered in Auschwitz in 1942. The dictionary, however, remains a bestseller – with no mention of Klein’s fate.
Hedwig Klein, could be described as an Arabist prodigy.
Her PhD dissertation received the distinction of summa cum laude. Her PhD supervisor Rudolf Strothmann called her dissertation “a worthy contribution to Islamic Studies”, and his colleague Arthur Schaade remarked that Klein’s work was “so diligent and brilliant that it made one wish some older Arabists could live up to it.
Hedwig Klein, a German-Jew, received an assignment to analyze modern Arabic literature for the Wehr dictionary. Klein, an academic Arabist in Hamburg, sought to
escape Nazi Germany in 1939 to India aboard a vessel but the outbreak of WW2 prevented her from reaching Bombay.
Hedwig Klein now suffers “the full torment”, as Rathjens would later put it, that all German Jews had to endure after the start of the war, from wearing the “Jewish star” to being evicted from her apartment and forced to move into a “Jewish house”.
Contact with Hans Wehr
Her former professor Arthur Schaade tries once more to do something for Hedwig Klein. He puts “his lady academic” in touch with the Arabist Hans Wehr in Greifwald. Wehr has been a member of the National Socialist Party since 1940. An essay of his recommends that the government make allies of “the Arabs” against England and France, not to mention against the Zionists in Palestine.
But the government, or more specifically the Foreign Office, sees Wehr as an important man for another reason. He is working on a modern Arabic dictionary. The oriental specialists in the Foreign Office regard this dictionary as an indispensable resource for getting Adolf Hitler’s book “Mein Kampf” successfully translated. The translations produced to date have proven inadequate.
They hope Wehr’s dictionary will help “strike the right tone” with a choice of words that will appeal to Arabic speakers. The project is supported with government money. And the Hamburg Jew Hedwig Klein is now tasked with providing entries for the dictionary – which she duly does, as letters preserved in Schaade’s estate testify.
Hedwig Klein analyses modern Arabic literature for the dictionary. She notes the meanings of words on slips of paper and sends them to the editorial office by post. She is paid 10 pfennigs for every slip. Wehr’s people praise “the excellent quality” of her entries. “Though of course it will be completely impossible for her to be credited as a contributor later,” as one person involved in the project writes to Arthur Schaade on 8 August 1941.
Her work saves her from the deportation to Riga on 6.12.1941 that the Hamburg security police have planned for her. Five days previously, Schaade writes to the authorities that “The army and war propaganda office have a great interest in seeing this project finished.” Fraulein Klein, he says, is “exceptionally well-qualified” for this work on the dictionary and “unfortunately the number of Aryan contributors is not sufficient.” Her work has now been “brought into question by the threat of deportation to the East.”
Deported and murdered
This time, Schaade is successful and his former doctoral student escapes deportation. But six months later, there is nothing he can do. On 11 July 1942, Hedwig Klein is transported to Auschwitz on the first train there from Hamburg. She does not survive the death camp. Her sister, mother and grandmother are also murdered.
In an act of remembering unusual for the time, the economic geographer Carl August Rathjens has Hamburg District Court appoint him as Hedwig Klein’s “curator in absentia” in summer 1947.
Then he has 56 copies of her doctoral thesis printed. On 15 August 1947, Hedwig Klein is officially declared a “Doctor of Philosophy”.
And Hans Wehr? After the war, he was called to appear before a denazification commission. On 20 July 1947, he wrote in his defence that “I managed to save a Jewish academic colleague, Dr Klein from Hamburg, from transportation to Theresienstadt [sic] in 1941, by requesting that the Gestapo release her for work supposedly important to the war effort, on the Arabic dictionary.” The words are taken from his denazification file. Wehr was classed as a “Mitlaufer” (follower); he was ordered to pay 36.40 deutschmarks by way of “atonement” and the legal costs associated with his case.
His dictionary, which was supposed to help with the translation of “Mein Kampf”, was not published before the end of the war. It came out in 1952. In the foreword, Wehr thanks “Dr H. Klein”, among others, for her help. He fails to mention what happened to her. Today the “Wehr”, as the “Dictionary of Modern Written Arabic” is known, is the most-used Arabic dictionary in the world. The German 5th edition was printed in 2011.

My mother said that I should print a sticker with Hedwig Klein’s name on it and past it over Hans Wehr’s name. In Israel when Prime Minister Ben Gurion argued that Israel should receive war reparations from Germany, he quoted Kings 21:19
Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? This is what Elijah the Prophet said to King Ahab and Queen Jezebel after they fabricated a false charge of sedition against Navoth the Jezreelite in order to incite a lynch mob to kill him so that they could possess his vineyard which he refused to sell.
