When those who are supposed to be inculcating understanding of and respect for French values into students instead abdicate their responsibility and surrender the freedom of speech when it is challenged, how will free society in France (or anywhere else) survive?
“‘I, Luc, threatened with beheading and suspended by the National Education Inspectorate,’” translated from “Moi, Luc, menacé de décapitation et lâché par l’Éducation Nationale,” Opinion Internationale, March 12, 2021:
In recent years, teachers have been afraid. Should they revise the teaching they provide to their students so as not to “offend” them? Freedom of speech in schools seems to be reserved for some and at the very least has changed sides. With the assassination on October 16, 2020 of their colleague Samuel Paty, by beheading, fear changed sides and turned into terror among some. Barbarism marks the spirit of the day. Also, when a student, even when angry, even if he may not think so (but perhaps he thinks so since he will then complain to the administration), throws out at his teacher: “my father is going to behead you,” this is not trivial. Because we know, words kill.
Testimony, among others, of a teacher lost by the Republic …
I, Luc*, teacher, threatened with beheading, suspended after twenty-nine years of my teaching career, for having defended Samuel Paty the day after his assassination as part of a course in Civic and Moral Education (EMC) in first general class.
On Saturday, October 17, 2020, the day after Samuel Paty’s assassination, I arrived at eleven o’clock at my class, in a half-group today, for my last class with them before the All Saints holidays. The students’ indifference to what happened the day before aggravates my emotions, and even stirs the fire. For too many students in the class, for the General Inspectorate of National Education?, the assassination of this teacher for a crime of opinion is just an “event.” They treat it as a news item. A banality. Until then, I had not fully realized the new reality, namely the tolerance of the new generations to barbarism.
However, in homage to Samuel Paty, and for educational purposes, I planned a selection, my choice, of the caricatures of Muhammad. To my knowledge, there were no Muslims in my class. A student asked me if I was not afraid. And when I told him no, he said: “My father is going to behead you!” For this student, the murder of my colleague was understandable and excusable. Fortunately! Other students asked me what the solution would be: reflection was underway. That was the point of the session.
The extent and pervasiveness of fear, open, yawning access to terrorists, I saw within seconds the same day. Not having civic and moral education lessons with them, I did not discuss the murder of Samuel Paty, but following a joke, a student told me: “But you, you are not afraid” … He ignored that a few hours earlier, I had made myself “guilty” by showing some of the incriminated cartoons.
On Monday, November 2, 2020, upon returning from the All Saints holidays, I am summoned to the principal’s office before the start of classes. He awaits me there with an inspector and a report from the student in charge of me who threw in my face these lightning words: “My father is going to behead you!” According to the indictment, I would be “for the closure of Islamic mosques” (sic). The principal continues, but in quoting my words, he puts them into perspective by using the conditional: the student “would have said to him, during the exchange, “my father is going to behead you.” I am on the hot seat. The student’s word is sacred. I was then asked to apologize to the class the next day, Tuesday, November 3. The following Friday, I will have to report this meeting to the principal. An incident that day will give him the pretext he needs to get rid of me.
I was aware of the problems with Islamism in schools, long before it became a high profile topic. For example, in a Parisian college where I was teaching, a student was offended that a teacher from a Muslim family did not respect Ramadan. My position on this subject had earned me a first inspection. After a long speech, the inspector concluded with the threat of “taking me into early retirement” if I made such remarks again, without specifying which ones. To the best of my mind.
In another college, the professors had refused to present Charlie Hebdo, within the framework of the week of the press, whereas for my part, I wanted to take this opportunity to make known this weekly. Fortunately, the students still had access to the CDI thanks to the librarian – from the Maghreb!
In several other establishments (I can change them every year, by virtue of my status as a zone holder, and thus forge a global vision of the situation), the teachers of letters and history also asked me to give up treating in sixth grade, in accordance with the program, the “founding texts” – Koran, Bible and New Testament – presented by extracts. Elsewhere again, in a class made up almost entirely of North African immigrant students, a student rebuked me because I had claimed that Adam and Eve were originally biblical figures. This was not, he claimed, what he had been taught at the mosque.
Shortly after the end of this class, I discovered a crowd of excited students in the hall, outraged by “my words.” Faced with this massive manifestation of discontent, the principal panics and withdraws me from my classes. He warns me that my union will not support me. He already sees, he says, the journalists crowding around. He fears for his career. However, in light of an exchange a few days later, he decides to go with me to talk to these students, and present the facts in a scientific way — he too, an enlightened Muslim.
Let’s go back to the last establishment where I taught and to this incident which served as the pretext for my suspension to the principal. As I said above, I was due in the afternoon to report back to him on my Tuesday apology session. That morning, in the middle of Covid, I had a class in sixth grade. The atmosphere is tense. Everyone must stay in their place. A fight between two students breaks out at the back of the classroom. And quickly degenerates. It takes me a while to make my way to them, and I intervene a bit late. However, I managed to separate the students and calm things down.
I finally make my way to my afternoon meeting in the principal’s office. The latter is not present, only in video, in the presence only of the assistant principal. He’s asking me to account for the “apology” session on Tuesday. I explained my intention to discuss it quietly the next day with the students, but without apologizing for all that. That’s when he brings up the morning fight, and signals my suspension to me. I have to leave the facility within a quarter of an hour. Forced out ! As a colleague will tell me, I must go and have my head beheaded elsewhere. My students are holding me back. Obviously, I do not tell them the reasons for my departure. The deputy headmaster walks away, looking embarrassed. A student is crying.
The next day, my access to the communication program with the students and their parents was cut off. I still have just time to get a message of support from a parent.
My four-month suspension came to an end, I was extended on statutory leave, with pay and legally limited to one month. I am not deluding myself as to what will happen next. I am disturbing…

Why do muslims say ‘Peace be unto him’ using that archaic 16th.-17th. century phraseology? Is it some sort of subtle marketing ploy to try to make islam sound respectable by using the language of the King James Bible?

This not only increases my understanding of our own Revolution, it increases my understanding of the French revolution. Their teachers are twisting themselves into pretzels trying not to “offend” savages, while ours are turning themselves into Antifa thugs with unions in order to install institutional racism.

Thanks — it must be understood that neither situation can be allowed to continue indefinitely in the hopes that “things will get better”, because in both cases the futures of the children and the nation they will inherit are at stake, and that is no exaggeration.

this is the outcome. when you have weak govts. that continue to kiss the arse of islam. islam is a cult. not a religion. why has Saudi. yemen. not taken any immigrants. .the west was better off donating to help the immigrants rebuild their countries. but no. as usual idiots in power think they know best.

This is pathetic. I wonder if this attitude, this disgusting caving in to islam, is because France has let far too many Muslims into the country. I read here at Jihad Watch recently that France has over 8% Muslims in its population. I think any society that has so many of the enemy Muslims, with their 100% incompatible values, is in huge trouble. My own opinion has been for many years that no non-Muslim society should let any Muslims in at all. The Hungarians and the other Visegrad bloc countries have it right. Don’t let the Muslim enemy in at all. They are nothing but trouble and for France to overcome the Muslim problem (with over 8% Muslims) will involve quite a lot of violence. France should have woken up earlier when they had far less Muslims and avoided all these problems they now have..
The Political Oracle says
All of this is a result of France’s poorly managed public education system. Muslims do not want a real French education or a real Western education for that matter. Muslim students are not there for an education, they are in the class to spy and wage student jihad! You think a teacher getting suspended for free speech is bad? Wait until full islamic implementation of France is finished! I hope France realizes what is going on before there is no turning back. Muslims are the hair-shirts you have read about in history lessons. They are the brown-shirts that you have also learned about in history lessons which are now whitewashed into fantasy tales.
tim gallagher says
Thanks for the comment, The Political Oracle, and I’m sure that what you say is correct. I agree with your comment that France had better realise what is going on before it is too late. I think that having the Muslim enemy reaching over 8% of your country’s population is already a huge problem. If the non-Muslims in France do wake up and start to try to deal with the problems that Muslims have inevitably brought to the country, I feel sure that there will be a hell of a lot of violence and trouble in France. They should have woken up earlier on and avoided all this trouble that Muslims always cause.

Lol Hindus at Rutgers made one petition against whitewashing a genocidal maniac which blew up like hell was breaking loose but this shit happens on a near everyday basis and yet the knee jerk response isn’t “Is this Islam?” Rather its “This is not *true* Islam! Don’t discriminate against Muslims, you entitled cis het white man!”

France: Muslim student tells teacher, ‘My father will behead you,’ teacher forced to apologize and is suspended
……………..
Just insanity–the student lies about him, and gets the teacher suspended and threatened with firing (as if opining that Mosques should be closed should be met with this response, in any case). But worst of all was ignoring the student’s threat to have his father behead him. This is of course no idle threat, given what happened to Samuel Paty.
Forcing the teacher to apologize for something he never even said tells students not to respect their teachers–and worse, that they can lie about them and threaten them with impumity. *Terrifying*.
Infidel says
Yeah, this sort of reaction certainly makes me think that despite the positive moves by President Macron last year, France still very much needs Marine Le Pen whenever they next hold their elections

Check Burry says
Yes she does, as Macron if he is to be believed re his recent actions, & words, should start to deal with this, threats to kill must be illegal in France, they are in UK, and though we are out of EU their reach still encroaches on us. A much much harder line is needed against fanatical (read every day) islam.
Check Burry says
Yes but what will she, can she do, used squads of Special services to take a small batch of em, and send em back, that would take years, vanish them overnight, you cant talk em out of their beliefs, de-radicalise, as even the above student is just a normal believer, who thinks the only answer is to kill any opposing views, truly a BIGGOT.
Clifford Fodor says
If that had happened in my day here in the USA, the teacher would have slapped the sh-t out of him and the school would have expelled him.
gravenimage says
Not only should this student be expelled, but the father should be investigated to see if he really is apt to behead anyone.
owensgate says
One would think so in a normal society, GI, but it won’t happen. What WILL happen is the father will probably have his in-box swamped with “knife-sharpening” advertisements. The “Gendarmerie” wouldn’t DARE investigate, nor would the Carabinieri, Astinomia, or any of the other EU police forces. Europe, and by extension the U.S., cannot throw away it’s Judeo-Christian heritage fast enough.

Meanwhile muslims in France, and around the World, laugh their heads off at the easy manner in which Europeans bow down to islam, and even apologize for saying something against this Fascist Religious Cult, which will take over Europe within 100 years and even as soon as 50.
Its a toss up between Sweden,Belgium,France,UK as to which country gets their very own muslim Prime Minister… for the good of inclusion and diversity, even though not one single mega rich Middle Eastern Kingdom takes in one single Syrian “refugee” and they live next door to each other… Go figure…

Well, what do you think?
Moslems living in France can never, under any circumstances, become French.
Neither can Islam ever become a part of French culture.
Therefore, neither Moslems nor Islam belong in France at all.
You’re welcome.
