Meanwhile, Western nations are bringing the members of Islamic State families back, often at great expense, and are excoriated as “racist” for any reluctance to do so. Why is it that Libya can act in the interests of its national security, but European and North American countries cannot?
“Libya deports number of families of ISIS members to Tunisia,” Libya Observer, March 12, 2021 (thanks to Henry):
The head of the investigations department at the Attorney General’s Office, Al-Siddiq Al-Sour, said that the Tunisian authorities received Thursday three women and five children from the families of ‘ISIS’ members who were in the city of Sirte before its liberation.
In a press statement, Al-Sour said that at the request of the Tunisian authorities, seven women and nine other children will be deported next week.
He also pointed out that Tunisia was refusing from the beginning to accept these women and children, adding that the Attorney General does not object to handing over all wives and children of ‘ISIS’ members, except those accused in cases that are being considered by the Libyan courts.
Steve says
Why? The answer is, only white people are racist, as the left wing progressive commies continuously tell us.
Rob Porter says
Steve – The other reason is that infusion of liberal thought and accompanying political correctness stupidity has rendered many white Westerners thoroughly stupid, hand-wringing bleeding hearts. In that state they haven’t the intelligence to see Islam for the disgusting rubbish it is.
Infidel says
One thing I don’t get: it’s not like these countries, like Libya and Tunisia, respect human rights. So why doesn’t Tunisia just accept every ISIS member offered to them – no questions asked – and then put them in front of a firing squad? And then bury them at sea, like Osama was?
Keith O says
Bury them in deep holes facing down, with pig carcasses to keep them company on the way to hell.
The actions of these animals deserve nothing less.
Infidel says
Perfectly fine w/ that, except that future jihadis can dig that up and intern them in prope shrines, if and when they recapture power. A watery burial a la Osama’s would be the best way to do this
Keith O says
Good point infidel.

Few Muslim countries are actually opposed to Jihad–they just recognize some Jihadists as a threat to their own regimes.
Infidel says
But the Libyan regime that’s anti-jihad is Gen Haftar’s, not the regime in Tripoli, and that’s the one that’s turned in these ISIS fighters by the look of it
gravenimage says
I know that,Infidel–but I would not count on any Islamic regime actually being anti-Jihad.
Note that Haftar himself has links to Salafist groups.

Infidel says
Graven, what is Ahmed Salah Ali – the author of this article – reputed to be? Is he typically pro or anti jihadist? And if he opposes Haftar in this case, what does he support the GNA regime in Tripoli?
gravenimage says
Infidel, Ahmed Salah Ali is not the only one to claim that Haftar has links with Salafists.
Haftar may (possibly) be the least worst faction in Libya right now, but that is damning with faint praise.
Chris from Cincinnati says
Libya is smarter and more aware of Islamic extremist danger than Biden and Merkel.
Libyans don’t want their citizens raped and attacked. Biden: bring in the worst! He and his other rulers have 24/7 guards. It’s the peasants who pay the price from Islamic extremist – now being let in without vetting.
gravenimage says
Libya is not opposed to Jihad–ISIS is just a rival to the thugs in charge there.
serialthinker2003 says
they’re not deporting them, they’re genociding them
Giacomo Latta says
From the Cambridge dictionary:
genocide : the murder of a whole group of people, especially a whole nation, race, or religious group
The identifiable group being?
