As a Syrian, Ahmad Al Issa is indeed “white,” but of course what Hemal Jhaveri meant was that he was a white, Christian, Trump-supporting Enemy of All That Is Good. It is extremely strange that USA Today fired her. In today’s “journalistic” culture, it would have been less surprising if she had been given an award and promoted.
“USA Today ‘Race and Inclusion’ Editor Fired For Falsely Blaming White People For Boulder Shooting,” by Paul Joseph Watson, Summit News, March 26, 2021 (thanks to Ken):
A ‘race and inclusion’ editor was fired by USA Today after she falsely blamed the Boulder supermarket shooting on white people.
“It’s always an angry white man. Always,” tweeted Hemal Jhaveri on Monday evening immediately after news of the shooting broke.
The gunman was named the next day as 21-year-old Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, a migrant from Syria.
“Hi friends. Some news,” tweeted Jhaveri earlier today. “I am no longer working at For The Win and USA TODAY. Here’s what happened.”
In a Medium piece about her dismissal, Jhaveri explains that even after seeing a picture of the shooter, she tweeted a “dashed off over-generalization” about the culprit.
“It was a careless error of judgment, sent at a heated time, that doesn’t represent my commitment to racial equality,” Jhaveri said. “I regret sending it. I apologized and deleted the tweet.”…
However, Jhaveri thinks that her firing wasn’t specifically in relation to that tweet, but to others in which she was “publicly naming whiteness as a defining problem.” She also referenced a 2017 tweet in which she called out “a reporter’s white privilege” as another reason for her dismissal.
“My previous tweets were flagged not for inaccuracy or for political bias, but for publicly naming whiteness as a defining problem,” Jhaveri said. “That is something USA TODAY, and many other newsrooms across the country, can not tolerate.”
The now unemployed journalist also claimed she was the victim of racist “microaggressions” carried out by “majority white” USA Today staff during her 8 year run with the media outlet….
Jhaveri wasn’t the only journalist to let slip anti-white racism in the aftermath of the shooting – literally countless others posted similar tweets.
None of them appear to have been fired.
CogitoErgoSum says
Somebody is going to have to define “white man” for me.
mortimer says
Well, CES, a ‘white man’ is the category that should NOT be ‘included’ by a ‘‘Race and Inclusion Editor’.
White men are now supposed to be ‘EXCLUDED’.
Hemal Jhaveri was just doing her job the way most ‘Race and Inclusion Editors’ would see it.
LB says
Middle Eastern muslims have this trans-racial superpower, you see. For example, Linda Sarsour is black when wearing a hijab and white when she takes it off. In broader terms, an Arab muslim is black when he does something good and white when he does something bad (like a jihad massacre, for example), because we all know that white people are the source of all evil on this planet, so it makes perfect sense when you think about it. I know I’m right because I get all my information from the mainstream media, so don’t even think about disputing my arguments, you greasy racist!!!

She’s a racist. She’s a bigot. If she stated that the shooter, criminal, terrorist was “Black, it’s always a Black,” she would have been fired.
If she had stated that islam teaches terror and commands that the adherents commit terror, she would have been fired.
It isn’t “always a White male,”…it is not and proven by the fact that it rarely is a White , freedom-loving, Constitution-believing, gun-owning, male.” And it ***never*** is a True Christian; White, Black or any other skin tone.
I have absolutely no pity for her. She is a racist and it caught up with her. She lied, and it caught with her.
She’s throwing her own pity party over being fired for being a lying racist.

Her job was designed to exclude white men and shield jihadists from criticism. She did her job.

A friggin’ “Race and Inclusion” Editor?! Really?! I didn’t know there was such a thing. But, by now, I should have assumed there must be. And I should have guessed that a Muslim would be the preferred “journalist” for that role.
Political correctness is the poison that, along with Islam, will destroy Western Civilization if common-sense, freedom-loving patriots don’t defeat them.
Mount Zion says
I’m surprised she didn’t pull the race on herself like so many others bevore her . I’m also surprised that all thesse muslim organisation , so called human rights advocates like CARE , didn’t step up to decry her removal as islamophobic .

Alarmed Pig Farmer says
Aw c’mon, Spencer, the real reason she was fired is because she wouldn’t put out to her white male boss. Even at a lib newspaper like USA Today men have needs.
PRCS says
Heh!
Mount Zion says
The article also states that there were many other journalist with anti white racist remarks and that none of them were fired . I don’t quite understand , am I supposed to feel sorry for her ? Because I don’t , not a bit . And by the way , none of the other journalists were head of ‘Race and inclusion’ Editor . However , that doesn’t mean I’m in favor of them getting away with it.

Actually, as Andy Ngo, a Vietnamese-American, has demonstrated conclusively, the VAST majority of mass shootings in America are perpetrated by black males as the link below completely validates, replete with photos of the mass shooters.
The MSM and the Democratic Party are perpetrating yet another lie, this time that whites, especially white males (but the “Karens” are almost as guilty), are the retrograde element in American society. No they are not. Not even close.
And which brings me to a larger point and that is that both the Democratic Party and the MSM must regularly traffic in mendacity (leftist academia and leftist Hollywood too) in order to impose their warped views of American society upon America at large. Beyond disgusting and damn ominous as well.

tgusa says
The last time we had this level of disinformation regarding white American men women threw their babies over cliffs and then jumped to their deaths.
gravenimage says
Grimly spot on, tgusa.
The reference is of course to the actions of many Japanese women over American troops liberating Japanese islands late in the war–they had been told that Americans would rape and torture them and murder their children–all lies. Even here, the Axis had blood on its hands.
tgusa says
And we had special rape torture and murder squads using loudspeakers pleading with them, please don’t do that. One Japanese soldier who was captured said, the US Marines treated each other with respect and they treated us quite well. He said it was the exact opposite of what they had been taught to expect.
gravenimage says
Exactly, tgusa.
tgusa says
I don’t know what shocked him more. The respectful treatment Marine to Marine or the treatment of him and his. They were pretty abusive to each other among themselves. Lots of them fought to the death for the Emperor but I’m sure there were lots of them that fought to the death fearing being killed by their own for not fighting to the death for the Emperor.
gravenimage says
This is grimly true–there is a scene in the Japanese Manga “Barefoot Gen” where a boy is savagely beaten by his fellow conscripts for not immediately volunteering for a Kamakazi flight. It’s been years since I read that book, but if I remember correctly he was only about fourteen years old. After this he does do his Kamakazi run, but is one of the very few to survive.
tgusa says
When you have to resort to conscripting fourteen year olds for suicide missions I think it is safe to say the war is lost.
gravenimage says
Agreed, tgusa. Muslims also regularly use coerced child soldiers.
PRCS says
While stationed on Guam (71-73) I flew a light aircraft from the Air Station’s Flying Club to Saipan for a weekend. Don’t know the status now, but some human bone fragments remained at the Suicide Cliffs on the Island’s North end at that time, and relatives of the dead still conducted religious rites at the site.
Before transferring to the Philippines, locals “discovered” Guam’s last Japanese Army holdout: Sgt. Soichi Yokoi.
While stationed in the Philippines, locals there “discovered” their final holdout: Lt. Hiroo Onoda.
Propaganda, a powerful psychological tool, causes normally rational people to do very irrational things.

Yokoi married and lived–happily, it seems.
Onoda couldn’t stand the cultural change, bought a cattle farm in Chile (I believe), but passed away in Japan.

A “Race and Inclusion” editor. Well, we certainly do live in weird and, I’d say, completely fucked up times. I’d say the more accurate title for a “Race and Inclusion” editor would be a hate filled , ferociously anti-white propagandist. Identity politics, all this critical race theory claptrap, what a load of absolute garbage. Here’s hoping it will turn out to be a not all that long lasting fashion and people will wake up a bit further down the road and dump most of this bullshit. Probably anyone who is willing to sign up to be a “Race and Inclusion” propagandist in the first place (and spread endless disinformation) deserves to be fired from such a position.
PRCS says
“a hate filled , ferociously anti-white propagandist”
Don’t know how deeply entrenched, or at what age children are subjected to “woke” indoctrination down under, but it’s so acceptable here it will take a Herculean effort to reverse it.
Doddering ‘ole Joe’s election reflects how easily so many of my fellow citizens can be fooled.
tim gallagher says
I think a lot of this indoctrination goes on at schools and universities here in Australia, PRCS. The cultural Marxist mob are out to tear down our western civilisation, the horrid white man’s creation after all, in all western nations. I don’t buy any of this crap. I am someone who considers that western civilisation ( democracy, a good level of tolerance and freedom of expression, a decent level of human rights, etc) as being a fantastic achievement. If that makes me a nasty white supremacist, then I am happy to be called exactly that. We have many Christian and Buddhists Asians here in Australia and I meet and like quite a lot of them, so I am not all that racist, but I am someone who appreciates our western civilisation and the white men who created it. There is definitely a fashion for tearing into the white people of the world lately. PRCS, you asked about bushfires out here a while back and I told you that, on the east coast, we had had lots of rain this summer. The La Nina weather pattern they say causes it. We just had a huge amount of rain and terrible floods all up the east coast, including on the edge of Sydney. I mention this because I don’t know if it made the news in the USA. From droughts to flooding rains. It happens quite a bit in Australia.
PRCS says
I did, Tim.
NSW I think.
The photos and vids documented a very tough situation.
We go through the boom and bust (flood and drought) situation here, too of course.
Hoping that–like last years “bush fires”–you weren’t significantly impacted by the current floods.

Yes, Tim–that alarming news has been covered here.

Hemal Jhaveri claims that she was “too talented” not to be fired by USA Today–as though it takes talent to lie about white people.
https://hemjhaveri.medium.com/i-am-no-longer-working-at-usa-today-heres-what-happened-7ebd540a510e
She implies that USA Today was always poised to fire her–presumably because they are “racist” (she claims being the victim of “microaggression)–despite her having worked there for eight years.
And despite this being Jihad, she doubles down on “whiteness” being a definite problem. She claims she was just “challenging whiteness”–how orwellian is that?
tim gallagher says
It is a strange world we are living in these days, gravenimage. That is a pretty amazing, and probably delusional, statement this former “Race and Inclusion” editor has made. “Too talented” not to not be fired. What an extraordinary way to view things. She certainly seems to be extremely arrogant. I think to have a job with such a stupid title as “Race and Inclusion” editor would be an embarrassment for any talented person to waste their time doing. Oh, and, of course, she is the victim of “racism”. How predictable and how boring. Being a victim is all the rage these days. I suppose she will next appear on the world stage as the writer of the greatest novel ever written since she is so extraordinarily talented, at least in her own mind . I won’t be holding my breath waiting for that to happen.
somehistory says
The problem, as people like her see it, is that White people don’t commit enough crimes. They would like nothing better. Of course, they can’t come out and say that, so they pretend….lie…and claim that White people commit the crimes and then get away without being punished.
gravenimage says
Agree, Tim and Somehistory.
tim gallagher says
Thanks for the comments, somehistory and gravenimage. somehistory, I’m pretty sure that merely being born white is crime enough for these ferocious haters of the white man and of all the achievements white men have come up with. Down here in Australia, in the last few weeks, politics has been taken over by the issues of rape and consent. A young woman claims that she was raped in the office of a minister in the Federal parliament in Canberra, by one of the staffers. Almost certainly it was true. Other accusations have been made, etc. There have, indeed, been pretty horrendous acts committed, such as a staffer for a minister, a gay man jerking off on the desk of the minister because, last year, when they voted to make gay marriage legal, she didn’t vote in support of it. Bizarre revenge by the gay staffer who has now been fired. All sorts of accusations have been flying around. What I wanted to mention is this incident because I think it is so out there and so part of this woke carry on. In a school in Victoria, called Brauer College, all the boys( 13 years old or so) were made to stand up and apologise to the girls for being male.(for all the bullying and rape and such stuff that the male part of the population have carried out). One 13 year old boy complained to his parents and said, “But I’m not a rapist”. Parents were outraged. The school apologised. How weird is that. Maybe it happens in the USA as well, maybe in Europe, but I thought that this incident was insane, which is why I thought people might be interested in it. It takes the cake for insanity. Who thinks this stuff up? And how can they not see how insane it is.
tgusa says
“a gay man jerking off on the desk of the minister”
Now that right there is funny. Extremely extreme extremists.
gravenimage says
Terrible shaming of boys for merely being male, Tim. So angry to hear this. I hope there was pushback.
tgusa says
“terrible shaming”
No one has to put up with it. Force their hand by refusing to submit. They are targeting the young and not the older. Perhaps we need some guys older than 13 year olds to show them the error of their ways. I would gladly volunteer but I don’t live in Australia.
gravenimage says
tgusa, 13-year-old boys are just kids–few can be expected to stand up to teachers. I am just glad that parents and others are protesting this grotesque incident.
This has become a big story:
“Schoolboys Forced to Apologize to Female Classmates on Behalf of Their Gender”
https://www.newsweek.com/boys-forced-apologize-female-classmates-behalf-gender-1578793
The school has now apologized–sort of, anyway…
tim gallagher says
Thanks for the comments, gravenmage and tgusa. As I said, I only mentioned the Brauer College incident because I couldn’t believe how insane it was. Some of these teachers, (I guess it was only one insane teacher’s idea as I think it happened in one class and not the whole school though I may have that wrong) are truly off on some other planet. Anyway, the school realised that their idiocy had gone too far and apologised. On the behaviours that the media are reporting at Parliament House, people are naturally pretty outraged and disgusted. The Labor opposition are using these sexual misbehaviours as a way to attack the conservative government, but I suspect that both sides probably have examples of bad behaviour. It seems weird. There have supposedly been staff involved in gay orgies, etc. I heard a reporter say that the Parliament building is so big that security can’t keep an eye on behaviour, there are many entrances and people work all sorts of hours, etc. The woman who was raped came back from a function with a male staff member at a very late hour and was pretty well passed out drunk when raped by him. Her name is Brittany Higgins. All this will result in cleaning up Parliament House, which is good, but I do wish they’d get back to bigger issues, the economy, problems with China, etc, as the coverage of sexual misbehaviours .has dominated everything for the past couple of weeks.
tgusa says
I have never understood the desire of having sex with a woman who wasn’t a willing participant. For me an unwilling participant would be a huge turnoff so I just wouldn’t do that.
James Lincoln says
somehistory,

gravenimage says
Tim. I believe that this apology was before the entire school.
And I’m sadly sure that this sort of thing is happening elsewhere now as well, and doesn’t always get outside attention.
tim gallagher says
gravenimage, thanks for the clarification. I checked out the article you uploaded and it was a school assembly, which is worse than just one class of children. Ludicrous collective guilt crap. I first heard about it on the radio and it seemed to have blown over fairly quickly. The school backed down rapidly. On the “Outsiders” program, which tears into the woke culture and all this culture war stuff, (they have sections called “Lefty Lunacy” and “Wackademia”) they discussed it briefly. Rowan Dean said that if he’d had a boy at the school, he would have taken the boy out of the school that same day. Rita Panahi, who has a 13 year old son, said that she would have given the school plenty of grief over this rubbish if her son had attended that school..I find so much of this cancel culture and identity politics, a lot of which I hear about on “Outsiders”, and also on the radio day by day (all this Dr Seuss crap, Pepe le Pew being banned, etc) insane. The amount of attention the transgender lobby get also amazes me. Just as one issue, women may as well forget trying to compete in sport if they are up against transgender people who were males. It’s completely unfair and some women will also be seriously injured in sports where there are collisions.. It’s such a strange world. Then again, maybe I’m sounding like an old man, which I am. I don’t think it is that though. I’m pretty sure that some of this stuff is truly insane.
gravenimage says
Yes, Tim–this stuff is crazy and *very* ugly.
tgusa says
That is why I said they are targeting the young. It has been a long time but I was once a 13 year old boy. Most 13 year old boys can see right through bs and they have long memories of what they see especially from so-called authority figures. In the 13 year old boy world one day you are an authority figure the next day you are a joke that should be laughed at and generally ignored. They can apologize all day long but the damage has already been done and the boys wont forget it. If they are supporters of diversity and inclusion they are doing it wrong.

I’m just confused by the first sentence of this article. You think Syrians are “white”? Spence, you’re a Jew, I’m a Jew, we kind of think of ourselves as white, but rest assured, most white people don’t think of us that way. I know, because they always ask what country I’m from, even though I’m a 3rd generation American. I’ve been shouted at once or twice because people thought I was an Arab. Only a totally delusional Jew with a deep misunderstanding of how he’s perceived could possibly think that since he’s regarded as white, Syrians are regarded as white. The supposed crime this woman was actually fired for wasn’t blaming white people. USA Today wouldn’t have fired her for that. It was for agreeing with you that a Syrian was white. That’s an affront to third-worldism that can’t be tolerated.
gravenimage says
JS, Robert Spencer is not Jewish, although he is a great supporter of Israel and of Jews against the Jihad. His ancestors were Christians who fled from genocide in Turkey.
And by most yardsticks, Syrians are indeed considered to be white–acknowledging this is not indicative of either being delusional or Jewish. For instance, the US Census categorizes all Middle Eaterners as white.

I can only wonder what all of these leftist idiots would say were they to be accused of being “too Asian”, or, “too African”, or, “too arab”, even, “too muslim”, Oh, the horror! But, trashing Caucasians appears to be the centerpiece of the woke left`s attempts to divide and conquer the bastions of western, Judeo/Christian civilization. They will only succeed if we were to allow them to do so, but, we have ceded control of too many areas of power, including the msm, online media, “elected” governments, the judicial system, and, maybe, the military. What do we have that could work for us? Numbers, education, belief in our constitutional republic, and, the unique greatness of our country. Let`s find ways to work together to stop the left, so we can make (and keep) America great again!
