My latest in PJ Media:
No one could possibly be glad to see former House Speaker John Boehner (R-McCain) back in the arena, with the possible exception of his ideological kin such as Mitt Romney and Lisa Murkowski, but he is newly useful to the political and media elites, and so we are once again being treated to his leathery visage on the morning shows. Boehner, you see, has a new memoir out in which he viciously slams Trump and other Republican leaders, thus giving the media a new example they can trot out of what Republicans really ought to be: docile, submissive, supportive of the leftist agenda, and vituperatively hostile to Republicans who genuinely oppose the political establishment. On CBS Sunday Morning set to air on April 11, Boehner reserved particular venom for Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), whom he called “political terrorists.”
CBS Sunday Morning’s John Dickerson served up the softball, saying to Boehner: “You call some of these members ‘political terrorists.’”
“Oh, yeah,” Boehner replied without hesitation, “Jim Jordan especially, my colleague from Ohio. I just never saw a guy who spent more time tearing things apart – never building anything, never putting anything together.”
Yes, of course, because we all know how much the likes of Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and Old Joe Biden’s handlers, who are among the most partisan and uncompromising lawmakers in American history, want to build things and put things together.
Boehner took a shot at Ted Cruz as well, after first saying that he wouldn’t: “I don’t beat anybody up, it’s – not really my style, except that jerk. … Perfect symbol, you know, of getting elected, make a lot of noise, draw a lot of attention to yourself, raise a lot of money, which means you’re gonna go make more noise, raise more money, and – it’s really, it’s unfortunate.”
What’s really unfortunate is that Boehner, who is throwing his party colleagues under the bus to sell his new book, On the House: A Washington Memoir, also carries water for the increasingly ridiculous establishment narrative that the January 6 Capitol riot constituted an “insurrection” incited by Trump, despite the fact that no one involved seems to have had any guns, and Trump didn’t tell anyone to storm the Capitol building or do anything but protest peacefully. According to Boehner, Trump incited this bogus insurrection “for nothing more than selfish reasons, perpetuated by the [expletive] he’s been shoveling since he lost a fair election the previous November.”
There is more. Read the rest here.

John Boehner is and always will be a disgusting lying Rino!,
He was truly a traitor to all republicans in the House of Representatives! I always wondered why he just didn’t change parties and show his true lying liberal democrat colors!
And I hope his book fails too! If he had a brain, he’d be embarrassed by his obnoxious behavior!
Some people will do and say anything to remain relevant!
James Lincoln says
Jay,
He likely did not change parties because he felt that he could do more damage to the GOP as a RINO…
revereridesagain says
Hit him again, Robert, we’ll hold your coat. Everyone who has to put up with a RINO governor, as is our lot in with Baker in Marxachusetts, knows the particular kind of disgust generated by these chameleons as they undercut their own party and impose Leftist policies on us under the guise of being “Republicans”. (Which, I’m pleased to report, is why Baker was treated to rallies by competing Trump and Antifa supporters in front of his seaside mansion every weekend for nearly a year.)

Bonnier should lay off the sauce. . You have to be tough( and nasty) to be a Democrat. Crying John could never have made the grade. He made out better along with his best buddy Paul Ryan trashing Republicans and collecting their stash from the lobbyists. He showed his worth to even the doubting followers what trash he was mad of when he showed up with the Pot lobby. I don’t know if anything he says will hold water anymore, even with Democrats.
Rob Porter says
Jay – The trouble with the Republican Party is that it has within it low-grade individuals like John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, Susan Collins, Murkowski, etc. Notions that this party can be transformed into a strong, united conservative party are delusional. Paul Ryan turned out a real sewer rat and the likes of him keep emerging.

To appear relevant.

Thanks for saying all about this RINO I care to hear. I thought he was out of the picture when we had PRESIDENT TRUMP -but alas no-
I just do not have to listen to him and will make it a point not to hear a word he utters.

Boehner has become worse than a nothing; he has become a destructive nothing. Ditto for Kasich and Whitman, never mind RINOs still in power like Murkowski, Romney, Sasse and Collins.
At least with Democrats you don’t, metaphorically speaking, have to worry about being stabbed in the back. You know where these miscreants are coming from, full up front-like, and that is at least honest and refreshing—very clarifying as well.
But with RINOs like Boehner, better be on your guard more than ever. Sorry to disagree with Godfather wisdom, a la the 1972 and 1974 films, but keep your so-called friends even closer to you than your clearly known enemies. After all, all things taken into account, your friends will do you in (and this includes family) even more so than your known (and noted) enemies. Think the Night of the Long Knives (June 30th, 1934) as an example, though there are many other examples out there demonstrating the veracity of this claim by yours truly.
Be careful with enemies. But be even more careful with many friends (not all friends since the best friends are one of the great positives about life). Sad to say but this is the way of things.

Largely agree except for one aspect: Collins and Murkowski are de-facto Dems w/ an (R) after their names, and follow in the footsteps of former Republicans who either often voted Democrat, or even switched parties – Jim Jeffords, Lincoln Chafee, Bill Weld, Arlen Specter and so on. The others, otoh, are those establishment conservative neocons – Romney, Kasich, Liz Cheney, Sasse, Lindsay ‘I’m-done-with-Trump’ Graham, and so on, who voted w/ Trump on things like taxes, but opposed him tooth and nail on things like withdrawing from Afghanistan. In the McCain spirit, they think that the entire US army should be fed into the Afghan woodchipper
However, all of them are liabilities to this country, and need to be politically eviscerated

Did Boehner cry when he answered?
Infidel says
No, he went to Pelosi to ask her how many masks did she want b/w them before he could kiss her b’cos… ‘Covid’!

A lot of people from the Northern states retire in Florida. Many of them buy mobile homes…some are really, really nice and are made to look like a regular house.
Over time, many are sold and new ones bought, and the old ones become rentals for mobile home “trailer parks” where those on limited income reside.
The homes can become broken down…entropy happens…and most of the owners don’t care as long as they are rentable.
It became a habit for those who had more money and better accommodations to call the poor in mobile homes, “trailer trash.” Whether or not they lived “trashy.” If you rented a broken down mobile home, your were trailer trash. (and yes, a few times, I did)
This fool is nothing but trash. As are a boatload of politicians…in and out of the House and Senate. They have gobs of money they got from their crooked ways, selfish decisions, crooked laws, and ripping off the taxpayers…many who live in poor homes…in order to fill their own pockets.
Whoever made up the rule about them giving themselves a raise had to be a fool or a blackheart. It should be up to those who must pay their salaries when and if they get raises. And when they leave Congress, they should have to get an actual job…like ditch digger, grocery store stocker, etc. or give all of their money back.
Okay, I’ve ranted.
jr233 says
i think he was one of the founding RINOs
Infidel says
No, that used to be Bob Michels, from back in the 80s when the GOP was the minority. It wasn’t until Newt took over that the GOP became really conservative as far as Congress went

John Boehner Calls Jim Jordan and Ted Cruz ‘Political Terrorists’
…………………
Utter insanity.
mortimer says
How many Washington politicians are complete sell-outs? Pres. Trump said he was most shocked by the amount of corruption in Washington.
Alfredo says
John Bummer is one of the reasons the DemoKKKrats stole the election with total impunity and all the despicable RINOs do is blame Ted Cruz? These turncoats are so willfully blind they attack the few true Republicans calling them “political terrorists” while the real terrorists upload videos of their latest atrocity in Syria and the woke corporate media is busy peddling the big lie of the “insurrection instigated by Trump” narrative!?
Dave-E says
Who cares what this RINO loser thinks? It was good riddance when he left Congress. Now no patriot wants to hear from him anymore.
OLD GUY says
John Boehner typical politician nothing is his fault when things go wrong, but he will jump to the front of the line to claim credit for things that work or are successful. How do you pronounce Boehner is it “boner” he looks like a D**K head.
Linde Barrera says
To OLD GUY- The closest I can get to “Boehner” is pronounced “Berner” in German. And I have heard his name pronounced “Bainer” in English. But I like your last word better as it is more accurately descriptive! Thank you.
Linde Barrera says
Hi All! I stated this a few months ago here
on JihadWatch: I attended the STOP THE STEAL rally in DC on Jan. 6, 2021 and
there was no violence outside the Capitol building; I was elbow to elbow with thousands on the Capitol plaza open air space. I put the blame on Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and DC Mayor Muriel Bowser for what happened inside the building because those 2 turned down the
offer of additional security/National Guard BEFORE the rally took place. ???
Giving Ted Cruz and Jim Jordan false
names just shows how “politically correct” Boehner really is. He is one of many
elected politicians who in my honest
opinion puts his own financial interests
first before his constituents.
Last month I wrote to Tom Emmer,
Chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee, with my
opinion about how the elected reps. in
the US Congress cares for their fellow Americans: 10%; cares for their constituents: 25%; cares for their own pockets and wallets: 65%. I asked him to prove me wrong, but got no response. I
also criticized the majority of the “ReFLUBicans” for not asking for a challenge to the Electoral College vote.
Tom Emmer did not respond to that either. So I conclude that the VAST majority in
the US Congress are “Blow Hards” for themselves and their financial backers.
Very sad.
Stay strong, all Jihad Watch readers.
My profound thanks for this website; a
donation will come soon.

That’s why I believe that we need to abandon the GOP, and that Trump should create a new Patriot Party, where those establishment republicans can be kept out!
somehistory says
You should read what Mr. D. Horowitz has to say about the term “politically correct.” If I recall correctly, he said it was started by mao de dung back in the ’30’s to force obedience to him.
biner is just fine in line with those who are so selfish, they’ll say anything, do anything, pretend to think anything, in order to be asked their opinion if it will make money for them. Even if it leads to death for others.
