Western analysts have never come to grips with the implications of stories such as this, and probably never will. This shows yet again that jihad activity is not the province of the poor and uneducated, and that Muslims from all walks of life can and do participate in it. This story would refute too many accepted narratives to be considered on any large scale in the U.S.
“Sri Lanka Arrests MP Rishad Bathiudeen, His Brother Over Easter Attacks,” AFP, April 24, 2021 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
Colombo, Sri Lanka: Sri Lanka’s police Saturday arrested a top Muslim leader and member of parliament in connection with the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks that killed 279 people as pressure to speed up the investigation mounted.
Detectives took Rishad Bathiudeen, leader of the All Ceylon Makkal Party, into custody under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA), police spokesman Ajith Rohana said.
He said Bathiudeen and his brother Riyaaj were arrested in pre-dawn raids on their homes in Colombo.
“They were arrested under the PTA based on circumstantial and scientific evidence that they had connections with the suicide bombers who carried out the attacks,” Rohana said in a statement….

The names Rashida Talib and Ilhan Omar should come to the mind of any American reading this. Our safety and prosperity should be infinitely more important than “diversity”, yet the trend continues to move in the opposite direction.
Is there really any question who those two would side with if the choice was between conservative Americans and either the Palestinians or any other muslim group or nation state?

Sure would be great to see BOTH those names on arrest warrants!

MP Rishad Bathiudeen was a secret jihadist all along, but he cunningly concealed this from the voters (whom he duped) and maybe even from his own family.
How many more seemingly ‘moderate’ Muslims are ‘secret jihadists’? It is likely that it is 15% according to anonymous opinion surveys.
This means that one in six Muslims like MP Rishad Bathiudeen are walking among us in the Western world are jihadists. Somewhere around 18% of all Muslims.
If there were 100 glasses of fresh wine on a table and 18 glasses of wine laced with strychnine, how would you discern between them without a lab analysis? A surveillance camera might identify them.
Similarly, modern police work is required to analyze the wording of jihadists and other clues that will tip us off to their subterfuges.
Jihadists like MP Rishad Bathiudeen should have been exposed sooner. 18% of all Muslims are using TAQIYYA to hide their support of TERRORISM.

I think you can safely disregard surveys involving questions about Jihad involving Muslims.
Those living in the West will be pretty much guaranteed to lie because it written into the doctrine that they have to practise Jihad if they want to avoid the lake of fire in the afterlife and depending on their circumstances they can practise Jihad passively of actively and they can deceive the disbelievers as much as they like while doing it.
You can be sure of one thing, their allegiance is with Islam if they had to choose between it and the West.
It’s all part of the insidious evil that is the cult of Satan.

Greg, it can be important because you know that many Muslims will use Taqiyya and lie. So it despite this a large number of Muslims openly admit they support Jihad terror it is especially alarming.

Only the Shia use taqiyya, the Sunni use mudar’at. Same smell opposite side of the coin.

True. Islam has a disturbingly large number of terms describing dishonesty–especially used to fool the Infidels.

How I wish more governments worldwide had the same cojones that Sri Lanka has, where it fearlessly arrests a legislator, no less, who it finds to have ties w/ the jihad attack 2 years ago!
Sri Lanka, Burma, Angola – thought leaders of the world! Who would have thought?
Andrew Blackadder says
Indifel: have been in Sri Lanka, three times, and Burma about five times, and I was close to the Border of Angola when I was in Namibia and Botswana many years ago,the leaders of those countries can appear to be strong Dictatorships but neither are tolerant of islamic madness.
Angola actually BANNED islam as a religion in that poor poor country, and destroyed mosques across the country…
Sri Lankan people, non muslims, have always had problems with muslims in that country as muslims are mostly of the Money Changer Class all over Sri Lanka, and in Burma, these Bengali peoples have caused problems in Burma since the Independence from Britain, and they have just in the past few years claimed a new title of themselves as Royinga, which means “Ancient villager”, as they were offered Burmese Citizenship but refused it, and never spoke Burmese, nor went too Government Schools, and never inter married and so the Burmese people left them to their own ways, and then these muslims started causing trouble by first raping a young Buddhist girl about 15 years ago.
However I guess those two wee Gay soy boys on CNN, or that wee Dyke on MSNBC didnt feel the need to report that to their public, but were quick in coming up with a muslim ban slogan because of their orange man bad nonsense.

Andrew, I’m afraid this is actually a canard:
“Angola denies it banned Islam, destroyed mosques”
