If you hit yourself on the head, hard, with a mallet, you would likely be seriously disturbed. If you kept doing it as your blood streamed down your face, you’d be insane and/or suicidal.
France keeps bringing in Muslim migrants without making any serious efforts to determine whether or not they may harbor jihadist sympathies. French officials refuse even to face the ideological roots of the problem. And if you try to grab the mallet out of their hands, they’ll call you “Islamophobic.”
“Strasbourg: four young people arrested this Wednesday, suspected of preparing a terrorist action,” translated from “Strasbourg : quatre jeunes interpellés ce mercredi, soupçonnés de préparer une action terroriste,” by Luc Dreosto, France Bleu, May 26, 2021:
Four people, aged 16 to 18, who planned to carry out violent action were arrested on Wednesday in Strasbourg. At least three are of Chechen origin. They were arrested this Wednesday morning in Strasbourg and Schiltigheim.
Police officers from the DGSI (internal intelligence) arrested four people, as part of a preliminary investigation by the National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor’s Office (Pnat) for criminal terrorist association, according to information from France Television.
These four people, three minors and one adult, were arrested this Wednesday morning in Strasbourg and Schiltigheim. They are suspected of having prepared a violent action, AFP learned from a judicial source. “Digital media” were seized in search, as the judicial source further indicated.
These four young people, all born in the Russian Caucasus, are 16, 17 and 18 years old. We do not yet know details of their terrorist project, nor their target.
For several months, after the assassination in mid-October of Professor Samuel Paty by a young Chechen refugee, Abdoullakh Anzorov, the French authorities have focused on the Chechens in France, by accelerating the expulsion procedures of those who are suspected of radicalization.

I BEG the understanding of the difference between suicide, which is almost certainly a basic right of every person, and murder, which is not. The leaders who make these decisions are not committing suicide. They are not killing themselves. They are aiding and abetting the conquest of their society, betraying their duties to their citizens and making the ruin and destruction of their community inevitable. You cannot commit my suicide. Suicide is tragic and heartbreaking. I have had many in my life make that decision; and one who called me instead (and is still alive today after about 20 years). Murder is a crime.
It is only in the most indirect sense that cultural self-destruction because a majority of voters elect murderous leaders can be argued suicide. That is one of the reasons the US Supreme Court ruled following the Civil War that a state cannot secede from the Union: The majority cannot deprive the minority of their rights under the Constitution.
Lavéritétriomphera says
Bonsoir Frank,
I do not agree with you. Suicide is a self-murder which is a crime against the law of life, and the jihadist ideology goes against that law by supporting suicide.
Bien à toi
Frank Anderson says
Kevin, having lost a number of friends and family, it is necessary to accept their decision. They did not try to kill me or others as part of it. All were in the greatest pain and loss which drove them to their decision.
BTW the leading US Supreme Court case on secession is Texas v. White, (1869).
Always best wishes.
Lavéritétriomphera says
Bonjour Frank,
We have to distinguish between suicide and euthanasia. Suicide is a murder.
Nothing can ever be taken for granted, and I believe a state of America will secede (I hope pacifically) from the Union sooner or later, it’s simply a matter of time. The Roman Empire collapsed.
Bien à toi
Frank Anderson says
Friend Kevin, I realize that suicide is one of the ultimate sins in the Catholic Church. But no matter what we think about it, when a person decides that an end is required, you and I must live with the decision. Can you imagine the joy I feel when I talk with my friend whom I helped remain alive 20 years ago, as I did today? That does not change the fact that when one wishes to declare his end, he has no right to declare yours or mine. Without any legal, moral or ethical question in my mind, your choosing my death is murder, unless the law allows otherwise. The “leaders” of many countries and communities are making decisions to end lives that are not theirs to end. You cannot commit my suicide.
If you read the Supreme Court case I think you will see it is legally impossible for a state to withdraw from the Union. States have split; and several are considering changing borders with neighboring states. But it would take the collapse of the Constitution to allow secession.
Long Live France and the US!
Lavéritétriomphera says
Friend Frank,
Bonsoir,
You referring to my Catholic education, in this Christian context I would like to remind you these words of Jesus :
“Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.”. Matthew 12.32.
As stated in this bible verse I believe in the afterlife and in the holy Spirit which is the divine spark.
We cannot escape indefinitely from the demands of our conscience in this world and in the hear-after. I call that the law of life independently of all religions. I stand by my words suicide or self-murder must not be confused with euthanasia.
The religions are man-made which is not the case for the golden rule and the laws of life in general.
Amen.
Official Motto of the United States : “In God We Trust”. I haven’t the gift of clairvoyance but like the Roman Empire USA is too big and too diverse, sooner or later the national unity will be reviewed. My opinion.
Peace be with you and USA.
À bientôt

Lavéritétriomphera, I would not actually look forward to the destruction of the United States. For all her problems now, she is still one of the most civilized nations in history.

Frank Anderson,
I believe that you are correct.
It’s a fine but important distinction.
The “leaders” always protect themselves – but their wretched decisions / policies often result in the injury or death of the very citizens that they have sworn to protect…

The vicious wicked jihadists with their Islamic terror mass murder schemes will still continue because the religion of Islam still continues and this death cult will keep on going until Islam with its jihadist armed forces are destroyed by God Himself at the Battle of Armageddon .Ezekiel 38 :22-23. Revelation 19:17-20.
Infidel says
Otoh, one great reason to keep doing it: you’ll feel so great when you stop! ?

What western ‘leaders’refuse to accept is that fundamentalism IS the religion of Islam and that it is only maintained amongst its followers by ‘fear’.Like it was spread by violence it is maintained by violence.Only when Islam has conquered the world will its violence end. That of course is never going to happen. The people of France are slowly realising the danger Islam poses to their way of life and will on due time be taking action to remove it from their country.Britain as usual will be late to the party but the end result will be the same only more costly in lives due to their prevarication.
