Erdogan couldn’t be clearer in signaling what is coming, and it should be clear to everyone, but isn’t: in February 2018, he declared his desire to reconquer the lands the Ottoman caliphate once ruled: “Those who think that we have erased from our hearts the lands from which we withdrew in tears a hundred years ago are wrong. We say at every opportunity we have that Syria, Iraq and other places in the geography [map] in our hearts are no different from our own homeland. We are struggling so that a foreign flag will not be waved anywhere where adhan [Islamic call to prayer in mosques] is recited. The things we have done so far [pale in comparison to the] even greater attempts and attacks [we are planning for] the coming days, inshallah [Allah willing].”
“Erdogan brings up legacy of conquest during mosque opening,” Ekathimerini, June 4, 2021 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke of the Turkish legacy of conquest and the conversion of the Hagia Sophia during a mosque opening in the city of Zonguldak on Friday.
“We maintained these lands and made them our homeland with our blood, our flag, and the sound of prayer from the mosques. This is why the re-opening of the Hagia Sophia as a mosque is important, as it is a legacy of conquest,” stated the Turkish president.
Erdogan also promised the construction of mosques all over Turkey….

Thats fine by me . Have all the Turkic lands you wish. In the meantime you can hand Anatolia back to Greece.
Infidel says
?
Of course, for that to happen, they’d have to invade Turkmenistan. Ironically, that’s one country that’s refused to join Erdogan’s Turkic council. It’s also one country that is right now where Kemal Ataturk was a century ago. If Turkey had the cult of Kemal then, Turkmenistan had the cult of Niyazov, around whom they designed everything – the Ruhnama, which is required to be held at par w/ the quran as far as reverence goes, including in mosques. If Kemal was rebranded as Ataturk, Niyazov was rebranded as Turkmenbashi, and the Caspian port of Krasnovodsk was renamed Türkmenbaşy. In short, Turkemenistan still follows the Niyazov cult after his death, just like Turkey used to follow Kemal until Erdogan came along. Who knows when Turkmenistan will get its own version of Erdogan!
However, Turkmenistan is where Turkey’s people – the ones that are not descendants of the janissaries – come from, and Turkey is in no position to force them to do anything, except for the fact that they control Turkmenistan gas routes to Europe. In any case, Erdogan is not interested in taking the Oghuz Turks (the tribes that the Seljuqs came from) back to where they came from – Turkmenistan
Nor do they want back the Turkic lands, since they consider that already theirs, and have a partnership w/ 4 out of the 5 Turkic countries – Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. In fact, if they had a plan, they might have had a go at Xinjiang as well. At any rate, what the Turks are interested in doing is reconquering the lands of the Ottoman empire, and also helping the Pakis resurrect the Mughal empire. In the 17th century, both these empires were actually allies, and the Mughals even shipped troops to Ottoman Turkey to help them in their campaigns in Europe. Which is why even though Pakistan is not ethnically a Turkic country, it might as well be, given how it considers itself a successor to the Mughal empire
And the only people who seem awake to this Turkish revanchist campaign are the Arabs, which explains a lot of what they’ve been doing recently, like supporting Armenia against all their muslim neighbors, refusing to support Pakistan against India and so on

Has anyone crunched the numbers to determine the billions of dollars of revenue Turkey will lose over the next decade due to lost tourist dollars from the West? Every year this turkey makes it less desirable, welcoming, and safe to visit Turkey. Soon it will be known as the Saudi Arabia of Asia Minor.
Infidel says
Interesting analogy you drew here – given how the real Saudi Arabia is trying to shake off its image as an islamic dungeon and make itself more attractive to the west. If European tourists have to visit a muslim country instead of others, they might as well go to Saudi Arabia instead of Turkey. Not sure what they’ll see there, but then again, not sure of what they saw in Turkey either
Ecosse1314 says
To be fair . They have got Troy and Ephesus. Nothing to do with the Turks of course

4 MILLION SEX-SLAVES SOLD IN 200 YEARS
( sold in ISTANBUL from 1500-1700)
According to THOMAS MADDEN in “Istanbul”(2016) ( pages 292-293):
1.In the 16th and 17the centuries,in the WOMEN’s slave market in Istanbul called AKSARAY.
2. Some 20,000 women per YEAR were sold there as slaves.
3.He also states those thought to be VIRGINS were paraded NAKED in front of the buyers
4.And that in Istanbul and the empire ONLY MUSLIMS could have slaves.
5.He also says:
“An AVERAGE Muslim Man in Constantinople would have:
1 or 2 WIVES and SEVERAL CONCUBINES who doubled as housekeepers”.
MAKING CALCULATIONS
20,000 per year gives 2 Million in 100 years and 4 Million in 200 years.
THE REASON
The KORAN in 5 Different Passages Authorizes MUSLIM men to sleep with their females slaves ( even if they are Already Married).
Brando says
EXCEPTION TO THE RULE
In 99% of cases,Leftist intellectuals Never Change, never say:”I was wrong,my data was wrong”.
EDUARDO GALEANO
In 1971 he wrote a book still used in Western universities as Gospel Truth:
“Open Veins of Latin America: Five Centuries of the Pillage of a Continent ”
But in 2014 he Publicly REJECTED his book as False.
OUT OF THIN AIR
In it he had said that 8 MILLION AMERINDIANS had died from overwork in the SILVER MINES of POTOSI ( Bolivia).
That number is Repeated and Repeated and Repeated and he just invented it. We know:
1.That for 100 years around 12,000 Amerindians worked in Potosi ( 5,000 in the mines and 7,000 in the Refining Mills( refining the silver ores).
2. For 100 years 60% of the WORLD’s SILVER came from Potosi mountain ( 50% of it was silver).
3.By 1600 it had 160,000 people: of which: 40,000 Spaniards and 120,000 Amerindians.
After that the numbers diminished to around only 5,000 Amerindians in total working in extracting/refining silver
EXPLOITATION AGAINST THE LAW
Many were overworked and died but it was against the colonial laws in existence. While in the OTTOMAN empire: sex-slaves were LEGAL.
Brando says
To give an idea of the astonishing amount of silver that came out of POTOSI:
you could have made a BRIDGE of silver from SOUTH AMERICA to EUROPE with it.
They also say you could have made a Bridge of BONES (of the 8 million dead)
from South America to Europe. But we know the number is a pure invention of EDUARDO GALEANO.
Infidel says
And you just listed the Ottoman Turks. If you start factoring in other Turkic empires across Asia – Seljuq, Khwarezmid, Tatar, Timuride, Ghaznavid, Karakhanid, Mamluq, Khilji, Tughluq, Sayyid, Mughal, then those numbers go exponentially up!
If we have to learn critical race theory, we could do it, if Turkic Muslims were made the bad guys, instead of White Christians
Brando says
That is true, for example.TAMERLANE (14th century ) was Turk, and his wars are responsible for the death, directly or indirectly, of 17 MILLION.
According to his Own “Memoirs”: when he took DELHI he ordered the massacre of 100,000 captured HINDUS, just because they were Hindus.
CAPTURE OF THE CAPITAL OF GEORGIA ( 1226 )
In 1226 the Turk sultan Jalal ad-Din Mingburnu captured TBILISI
and, according to the 14th century anonymous Georgian “Chronicle of a Hundred Years”: he gave the inhabitants the choice of Conversion to Islam and surrender or Death.
And 100,000 were killed.
PLUS from CONTEMPORARY Muslim Historians:
The Muslim historians IBN AL-ATHIR (1160-1233) and
NASAWI (died 1250) , the latter being the Turk sultan Jalal ad-Din Mingburnu’s SECRETARY and BIOGRAPHER,
Both Confirm the killings of Christians who did not accept Islam at the sultan’s order.
Fortunately Georgia is famous for more than that: it produced RUSTAVELI (1160-1220), who fortunately died a Few Years Before the Destruction of Tbilisi,
a very brilliant poet, called the HOMER of the CAUCASUS, for his epic poem:
“The Knight in the Panther’s Skin”, about the adventures of 3 Middle Eastern friends: in Arabia,India and China.

Turkish President Erdoğan: I’m going to f*ck NATO, Europe and Israel
https://nordicmonitor.com/2021/06/turkish-president-erdogan-im-going-to-fck-nato-europe-and-israel/
Infidel says
While I don’t support him f?ing Europe or Israel, I do hope he is successful in doing it to NATO. NATO has been pretty disfunctional over the last 30 years, and it’s time to put it out of our misery. What I don’t get is why Erdogan didn’t pull Turkey out of NATO, other than the capability to milk NATO for both cash and weaponry. It’s high time that the US closed Incirlik and pulled out all the military hardware from there, and relocated it either in Greece or in Poland. Actually, unless NATO defines its new mission as opposing Turkish, as opposed to Soviet expansionism or climate change, its members should all leave the group either individually or collectively
SAFI says
“other than the capability to milk NATO for both cash and weaponry” actually Turkey is getting much more money from the EU without even being a member and nowadays most of its weapons are domestically produced anyway but you’re crucially forgetting the huge diplomatic clout and ability to blackmail all sides that being in NATO gives them. Ergogan can get away with both domestic and international murder, as long as his country officially continues to be part of the western alliance, to a degree no other similar authoritarian aggressor could. In addition, thanks to NATO’s unanimity rule he can block other countries like Cyprus from joning or force them to kiss his feet before he lets them in. He can also keep demanding favors from Putin in exchange for undermining the alliance and sabotaging any collective decisions on Russia or Lukashenko for example. The fact that he’s being a shitty ally only serves to increase his value in the eyes of both the West AND Russia. Most of this wouldn’t be possible if he were to leave NATO…
Infidel says
This is another big reason why 4 years ago, I was a big fan of Trump’s original idea to improve relations w/ Russia. That would have ended one of Erdogan’s major Machiavellian avenues, and also geopolitically have done the US a great favor in positioning against not just Turkey, but China as well

Erdogan is an extremely dangerous megalomaniac who believes himself to be the mahdi. I firmly believe that within the next few years he will make his move to try to re-establish the ottoman empire, and here is why.
Most people that visit this site are aware of the fact that the date the twin towers was brought down (Sept 11) was no coincidence, Sept 11 1683 the muslim armies led by the ottomans made their last attempt to conquer Europe, but were defeated at “The Gates Of Vienna”) However, what a lot of people aren’t aware of is this fact, Wednesday August 24th 1516 the ottomans invaded Syria in “The Battle of Dabiq sparking the take over of the middle east.
Wednesday August 24th 2016 (exactly 500 years to the day) Turkey once again invade Syria in “Operation Euphrates Shield”. These dates are hardly a coincidence they are of great significance to the likes of Erdogan.
Erdogan intends to have his neo ottoman empire up and running by the year 2023. Will he make his move around November 1st 2022 or July 23rd 2023 as both play a part in the dissolution of the ottoman empire approximately 100 years ago. One thing seems certain to me, and that is, he will make a move, and it will be on a date that is significant to him.
Wednesday August 24th 2016, once again Turkey Invade Syria in “Operation Euphrates
Don McKellar says
I would expect that by now Erdogan, Putin, and Xi are in the midst of planning coordinated simultaneous invasions of their preferred targets. I can’t see how they aren’t planning this now that His Fraudulancy has been installed in the White House and there is nobody to oppose them. Now is the time to strike if you’re a dictator. They’ll never have it better than right about now.

Actually, Turkey’s true ancestrial home is Turkmenistan, as the Seljuq Turks originated from Merw and Nisa. Of course, Turkmenistan is islamic and Turkic, so Turkey has no interest in conquering them right now: they’re probably hoping that at some point, Turkmenistan joins the Turkic council

“legacy of conquest”
No point trying to SHAME the Sultan of Genocidistan, folks…
…but we can EMBARRASS and ANGER him by reminding him that it was CHRISTIANS who took away so many of those “conquests”, leaving him with the economic disaster zone from which so many of his kind have fled – to Christian lands – in order to have a decent standard of living.
“Say, Your Most Islamic Turkishness, can you please explain why Turkish people are so closely associated with POVERTY and ECONOMIC MIGRATION? Is that a ‘legacy of conquest’ too?”
lol
SAFI says
Yep… I think that might actually be the perfect way to respond especially if combined with a BAN on further turkish migration to Christian lands. In addition to that Greece and other Eastern European countries could convert or demolish all those ottoman era “conquest mosques” on their soil (I just don’t get why they haven’t already) and call it a legacy of Reconquista. (I’m sure Erdowank would understand wouldn’t he)
Infidel says
Absolutely! I don’t see why Greece and Serbia – 2 countries that have suffered the most from the muslims – don’t demolish all mosques in their territory. Particularly Serbia – since they’ve let go of Kosovo, there’s no reason for them to tolerate any mosques within their country, even in Sandzak

Hilarious, given that aside from WWI and in the Greek independence campaign in 1827, the UK never fought Turkey: they were allies most of the time. Like in the Crimean War, they were allies against Russia, and other than that, they often had the same enemies, like the Austrian empire and Russia
Also, Greece always got the worst of it from Turkey, and in 1827, a combined Turkish/Egyptian navy was defeated by the UK, France and Russia. The Greeks were also blocked from supporting the Russians during the Crimean War by the UK and France
The Turks were bloodied by the Greeks in the same way they were bloodied by the Armenians, or how the Arabs were bloodied by the Palestinian Jews in the early 20th century
gravenimage says
Yep. More bs from Muslims.
SAFI says
That is certainly an accurate summary of the history of Anglo-Turkish relations Infidel.
Throughout the 18th and 19th centuries Britain’s goal was to prevent the demise of the Turkish Empire (constantly on retreat after 1683) because they were afraid if that buffer was removed the Russians could expand and threaten vital routes to Bitain’s colonies. I would add by the way that at first the British did not want anything to do with the Greek WoI , (initially their priority had been to pacify the Greeks, in fact they even shared intelligence and ratted greek preparations to the Ottomans), but they were eventually pressured into lending support to the uprising by pro-Greek public opinion and by fear that the Russian & French involvement would leave them out of the influence game in the Balkans & Mediterranean unless they also jumped on the bandwagon. But if it weren’t for that Britain would have once more been on the turkish side because Greek Independence could have endangered their “capitulations” (commercial arrangements with the Ottomans) and would certainly threaten their ongoing treasure hunting operations of British “travellers”, ambassadors and other agents roaming the Greek lands to plunder ancient statues and other artifacts to be shipped to the British Museum and private collections back in England…
Even at the start of WWI the Foreign Office went to great lengths to try and court the Ottomans into joining the Entente or at least staying neutral, but unfortunately the CUP(“Young Turks”) regime had made up its mind to cast their lot with the Germans and attack the Suez. If it wasn’t for that, going to war with the Turks would be the last thing Britain would ever have wanted. Even to this day the Anglo-Turkish alliance remains strong, for example the UK was always the biggest promoter of turkish EU membership (maybe they still are despite Brexit)
The French were not always hostile to the Turks either (eg Crimean War as you mentioned) in fact they even had a formal alliance with them since the reign of Francis I and Suleyman the Magnificent which was established during the time of the 1st Ottoman Siege of Vienna and more or less lasted for over 2 and a half centuries right up until Napoleon… And we’re talking about a real “Brothers-in-Arms” alliance not just ‘on paper” stuff… The French also helped train and modernize the ottoman Army and Navy numerous times(as did the British and later the Germans) and also greatly helped defend the Ottomans against the British during the Ango-Turkish War of 1807 (the only other anglo-turkish conflict I can think of besides the ones you mentioned)
Of course turkish textbooks typically like to ignore all of that and claim that the English & French had always been plotting against the Ottoman Sultanate & Islam and blaming THEM for the demise of their Empire and attribute every anti-ottoman rebellion ever to Western or Russian meddling, rather than to turkish misrule or the natural desire of subjugated peoples to break free, because it fits with their anti-western islamo-chauvinist ideology and helps with whitewashing their imperial history and with presenting the ottomans as “victims”, plus they’ve always thought that if they can present the Armenians as agents of Russia or the Greeks as British puppets or the Kurds as tools of the Americans and the “Zionists” it will help them with justifying genociding them, then, now or in the future…
gravenimage says
Lord Byron fought and died for the cause of Greek independence.

@Gravenimage
Of course but I wasn’t talking about the thousands of individual European “philhellenes” hundreds of whom perished while fighting in Greece, I was talking about HM British Government which in reality had to be dragged kicking and screaming by public opinion into supporting the Greek Cause to the extent that it did.
Even in the aftermath of the famous Anglo-Turco-Egyptian battle that Infidel alluded to earlier, Admiral Codrington was reprimanded by the Government and Admiratly for acting outside his instructions in engaging the Muslim Fleet and the next year he was relieved from his position having to spend much of his time in the following years trying to defend his actions in greece against his accusers who blamed him for weakening the Ottomans to Russia’s benefit…
SAFI says
“The red background of the Turkish flag represents the bloodshed by soldiers who lost their lives during Turkey’s War of Independence against the colonial powers of France, England, Greece, and Russia”
Such a comical claim especially when you think how Russia fully supported the Turks during their so-called “War of Independence” even to the point of fighting like Brothers In Arms , the Bolsheviks invading Armenia from the East while the Turks were invading from the West.
Infidel says
Is this Russia who invaded Armenia – was it the Soviet Union, or was it Romanovsk Russia?
SAFI says
@ Infidel
It was Lenin’s regime in 1920. The Bolsheviks delusionally imagined that Mustapha Kemal was a crypto-communist revolutionary so they supported his cause with tons of weapons and money and even helped him subdue independent Armenia. You may not want to call that regime Russia but still its completely false for anyone to claim that the Turks fought Russia during their “War of Independence”. There’s even a famous monument by an Italian sculptor in Istanbul’s Taksim square celebrating the turkish-soviet alliance…

It’s all for “conquest.” Out of the mouth of a liar, comes a little bit of truth. The entire reason they wanted to have their satanic worship, their “call to predation” in what was once a church, is to make a big display of just how barbaric they are….it’s a form of terror, making the claim of supremacy over others, wanting everyone to see how strong they believe themselves to be.
satan is soon to go down…all of the way down…into the “abyss” made especially for him. The children of this demon will be going down too…into the “lake of fire”…anyone who loves violence and lies, anyone who loves to shed blood, doing “the desire of their father,” will be gone and forgotten, for forever.
