Prior to Orban’s visit, opposition parties castigated Boris Johnson for even meeting the Hungarian Prime Minister. The two discussed a range of issues related to Brexit, including security and climate change.
The opposition said that “Orban’s visit undermined the values the UK government claims to defend.” The UK has, in fact, “defended” the most shameful “values,” prioritizing mass migration over the safety and well-being of British citizens. Britain wears the stain of Muslim rape gangs and their coverup, supports dozens of Sharia courts that are operating beyond reach of British law and oppressing women, and has a major issue with jihad preachers, even encouraging them. Britain decided to lift a ban on public speaking of its “most dangerous” jihad preacher, Anjem Choudary. The Johnson government has also been embarrassed repeatedly over its many vain efforts (but proven inability) to handle its illegal Muslim migrant problem, which has been out of control, prompting protests. Mostly economic migrants have been swarming across the English Channel in overwhelming numbers; now, a group is threatening “mob unrest” if taxpayer-funded housing demands are not met.
On the contrary, Hungary preserves its values, protecting its citizens from the threat of jihad, Sharia no-go zones, Sharia patrols, high crime, Islamic supremacism, sex assaults, “Islamic separatism” and the like. The small nation of Hungary has also been spending tens of millions of dollars to rebuild churches and Christian communities destroyed by jihadis in Middle East. Open-door globalists have favored Muslim migrants — even illegal ones — while turning their backs on Christians.
“PM Johnson challenges Orban’s ‘divisive and wrong’ views on Muslims in London talks,” by Philip Andrew Churm, EuroNews, May 28, 2021:
Britain’s government has condemned comments made by Viktor Orban about Muslims and migrants on the eve of a bilateral meeting between the Hungarian leader and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
In a statement, No. 10 Downing Street said that Orban’s 2018 comment to a German newspaper about “Muslim invaders” and his later description of migrants as “a poison” were “divisive and wrong”.
It said that Johnson would not shy away from raising human rights issues with the Hungarian leader.
The comments came ahead the meeting in London, Friday, between the two leaders as Hungary is set to take the presidency, later this year, of the so-called Visegrad group of Central European nations.
Britain’s opposition Labour Party said Orban’s visit undermined the values the UK government claims to defend.
Earlier, Shadow Foreign Secretary, Lisa Nandy, questioned on Twitter whether Johnson would “challenge the Hungarian PM on his appalling track record.”
After the meeting, a Downing Street spokesperson said: “The leaders discussed the importance of the UK and Hungary working together bilaterally to increase security and prosperity in our countries and to address global challenges such as climate change.
“Hungary will take on the presidency of the Visegrád Group of Central European nations in July and the Prime Minister looked forward to the UK working more closely with the group in future.
“The Prime Minister raised his significant concerns about human rights in Hungary, including gender equality, LGBT rights and media freedom.
“The leaders also discussed a number of foreign policy issues including Russia, Belarus and China. The Prime Minister encouraged Hungary to use their influence to promote democracy and stability.”….

President Orban should make a VERY public side-trip to visit with the 1400-plus survivors of the Rotherham/Rochdale/Oxfordshire/ Telford Pockistoni sex slave rape gangs! Then also tour Tower Hamlets and Finsbury Mosque with BoJo the Clown!
LEONARD William DUNNET says
What a sell out why are we bothering. There are loads of pensioners the Tory’s can throw on to the streets to house these freeloaders. Johnson should be ashamed of his attitude to hard working British people. It’s obvious we are to become the slave underclass to keep Boris Johnson’s Muslim masters.

While I agree w/ Christine here, Hungary is a strange country. While they make the right noises about muslim immigration, they do have strange policies. For one, they are a part of China’s belt/road and have no problems w/ Huawei building their 5G network. Then they are also an associate member of the Turkic council, led by Turkey, and diplomatically supported Azerbaijan in its war against Armenia. In fact, they tend to be pro-Turkey on a lot of issues
This is not an Orban problem: it seems to be a larger issue w/ Hungarians
Wellington says
Interesting points, Infidel. Well, Hungarian is a Ural-Altaic language as is Turkish and so there is, going way back, a linguistic and even possibly distant ethnic connection.
Infidel says
Wellington, I get that, but historically, the Austro-Hungarian empire was a rival to the Ottomans, except I think for WWI
Wellington says
Correct, Infidel, and by which time when the Dual Monarchy was in alliance with the Ottoman Empire during WWI, a la Czar Nicholas I, it was indeed the “Sick Man of Europe” on its very last leg.

+1
Infidel says
Not to nitpick, but Tsar Nicholas II was the WWI Tsar. Nicholas I was the Tsar during the Crimean War
Wellington says
I know, Infidel, that Nicholas II (1894-1917) was Czar at the beginning of WWI but it was Nicholas I (1825-1855) who has been credited with the term, “The Sick Man of Europe,” to describe the decaying Ottoman Empire and that’s why I mentioned him.

Oh!

Sadly, I have to say that after looking into this, it seems that Hungary has indeed provided diplomatic support for the Azerbaijan aggression against Armenia / Artsakh.
It seems that an energy (gas) deal has swayed the Hungarians towards the aggressor.
What exactly is the “root of all evil” again, anyone?
gravenimage says
So sorry to hear this.
Infidel says
Who is Hungary getting the gas from? Azerbaijan? B’cos Turkey is not a net energy exporter, but it is critical to the -stan countries for getting their oil and gas out to Europe, and so could squeeze out quite a great deal for itself
gravenimage says
It looks a though Hungary uses a lot of nuclear eneergy, and gets most of its gas from Russia:

@Infidel:
I forgot to post a link. This dates to last October, when the Artsakh war was raging:

Infidel says
Crusades, I’ve seen links like this before from a poster on Breitbart, who on most Hungary related threads points out how the people are viscerally anti-American, and how the government tends to side w/ America’s enemies. And he’d provide links like these to demonstrate those things, such as their flirtation w/ China, so it was hard to argue w/ that
It’s disappointing, given how right Hungary has been on some other things, such as keeping muslims out, or encouraging their local people to have more kids instead of depending on more immigration

Sadly agree, Infidel.

Mark Steyn commented that multiculturalism is a transitional stage between no Muslim to all Muslim. British values are ones that seem to enable their own destruction by the people who receive the benefits of multicultural universalist values.
JCA Reid says
If Orban were to stand for the Tory Party, he’d be voted Leader & PM of the UK. Unlike Johnson he has the minerals to defend his country. Hungary has past experience of being under Islamic Subjugation with the Ottomans. They don’t want it back. Johnson & his home Secretary Patel are as effective if you tried to douse a raging Forest fire with one teaspoon of water! Johnson has proved one thing: when the chips are down, he is certainly NOT a Churchill!
somehistory says
“misery loves company” and bj proves it here.
He has a situation…mozlum mobs threatening/promising “mob rule” if they don’t get what they came for…good places to live where they can have orgies, make huge messes and demand to have even better places, burn down the places they are given freely to live high on their mozlum slop, gang rape all of the little White girls….
And Hungary doesn’t have that threat/problem.
Eli says
Their actions are very much like 2020, Marxist BLM & ANTIFA, in several U.S. cities Islam made some advances in the Washington, Oregon and California schools, which resulted in 2018 court cases. Parents have fought against the CAIR push for their curriculum. I’m wondering, how much of that curriculum is like the Marxist Critical Race Theory, they’re pushing in education now.
somehistory says
It all seems to be connected. There were many mozlums in the riots that began in Ferguson and they have been a part of these domestic terror groups.
Each faction believes it is the strongest, but for now, works with the others to attain their goals.

Every country has at least some problems, but at least Hungary does not have problems with muslims.
Readers, to which city would you prefer to take a vacation:
1. Budapest.
2. London.

Budapest. England and France are both struggling with Islamic aggression, like the U.S.

UK: Boris Johnson condemns Hungary’s Orban’s comments about ‘Muslim invaders’ as ‘divisive and wrong’

Even though what Orban says is true. Now telling the truth is ‘divisive and wrong’–just grotesque.

What a spineless idiot this Johnson is , that’s why Europe is dying because idiots like this one is running the show..

For the Cultural Muslim: The Old Testament presented history, the Law for order, and the direction for God’s people. Genesis, is the beginning, Exodus, God’s leading of His people. It also reveals the future, but the New Testament presents the Gospel of Jesus Christ, God’s son. Deuteronomy was the book on law and order, but the New Testament is God’s grace and mercy through His Son, Jesus, with directions on to be saved, and how to live a better life. Several physicians have written books on the after life. They have stories on people, who die in peace, calling the names of loved ones who’ve gone on before them. Then there are those, who have died with visions of terror. I wrote an article on a vision, my family witnessed at the death of a loved one. It’s real, in a Quantum Leap.

Orban is right. Muslims are invading, as they have always done, and are seeking to impose totally barbaric, primitive Islam on all people, just as they have always done for 1400 years. Johnson is a pathetic idiot and totally wrong on this issue. I just hope that one day every non-Muslim everywhere in the world will wake up and see barbaric Islam for the disgraceful ideology that it is, which is what Orban seems to be awake to already..

i wish Viktor Orban was Prime Minister of the UK.

Boris is an idiot! The UK is being invaded with a muslim/islamic invading force that intends to force islamic rule on the people of the UK. The only difference between this invasion attempt and Hitlers is that Hitler didn’t hide behind a religion. Islamic domination Hitlers domination same miserable result.
