Why didn’t school officials put a stop to this? Because, as always in shattered, staggering, dhimmi Britain, they were afraid of being called “Islamophobic.” You can etch that on Britain’s tombstone: “We were afraid of being called Islamophobic.”
“Shamima Begum ‘wore an ISIS badge on her blazer to pressure classmates at Bethnal Green school into joining terror group’ and pupils were ‘banned’ from mentioning her name,” by Sophie Tandon, MailOnline, June 20, 2021:
Shamima Begum wore an ISIS badge on her blazer in an attempt to recruit class members to join the terror group, it has been claimed.
For the first time, former pupils at Bethnal Green Academy have spoken about their experience of attending school alongside the Jihadi bride.
They also attended the school alongside Amira Abase and Kadiza Sultana.
Speaking to MyLondon, one former high school student recalled how she had noticed matching pins on the lapels of his classmates Shamima and Amira’s blazers.
‘They’d start talking about religion and try to rope people in,’ the student, whose identity was not revealed, told the website.
‘They were really pressuring about it, there were like ‘you know, if you don’t go to Islam you’re going to hell, you’re going to die’.’
According to the student, Amira had encouraged him to meet with an Imam-an islamic teacher who could tell him more about ISIS.
He said the message that Shamima and Amira had given him was not hate or violence, but the a dream of a perfect society.
‘Being 14 years or 15 years old, you don’t have that mental capacity to think you know what is right and what is wrong. So in my experience, it was scary,’ he told MyLondon.
Another girl, who the outlet named as Rabia*,recalled how ‘there were police everywhere’ in the school after the three girls left for Syria,
‘They said they were there in case we wanted to give any information, but felt like they were just watching over us, but not in a protective sort of way, more like; ‘oh, is this going to be the next kid who goes running off?’
‘It was pretty intimidating, because I thought schools were meant to be a safe space,’ she said.
Shemima Begum left the UK for Syria alongside Amira Abase and Kadiza Sultana in February 2015 at the age of 15, and were pictured in Gatwick Airport on their way to Turkey.
Ms Begumwas found in a refugee camp in Syria in February 2019 and pleaded to be allowed back to the UK.
She is currently being held at the al-Roj camp in northern Syria, after she had her British citizenship stripped by the Government, which in turn sparked an ongoing legal battle.
There is ‘overwhelming evidence’ that Islamic State bride Shamima Begum was a victim of trafficking when she left the UK, a court heard yesterday.
Begum was 15 when she and two other east London schoolgirls travelled to Syria to join the terror group in 2015….
Begum also wants to challenge the removal of her British citizenship on the grounds that it made her ‘de facto stateless’ and that the decision was procedurally unfair….
Stephen Grant says
The truth hurts doesn’t it. So much for the Muslims being honest and true to their faith. The nasty little minions working for Imans to intimidate and recruit sheep for the slaughter are disgraceful. Don’t tell me this girl didn’t know what she was doing.. liars never prosper. Never ever let her back into the UK. and investigate her parents who must have known what she was doing.
somehistory says
Yes. Parents usually do the laundry and eventually, her ‘blazer’ would need to be cleaned.
And most parents “snoop” on their kids…in order to know what the kids are unwilling to tell.
Trevor Morgan says
We are being underestimated once again.
Frankly this insults the common people of England
James Lincoln says
I recently bought a new blue blazer to wear to a medical conference.
I then went to the local Navy Exchange to buy a lapel pin with a combination United States / Navy flag.
I can’t fathom how *anyone* would actually *want* to wear an isis pin / badge…
Infidel says
Normally, blazers w/ insignias of various institutions, be it naval academies or colleges or other institutions, would be custom made or ordered and procured by the institution in question. Like when I was in college and would visit the college trinket shop, there would be t-shirts and other apparel w/ the school’s logo on it. In other words, the organization would have to want it to create their own brand
Did ISIS ever have such a branding effort that they wanted to popularize? The last thing I can think of is ISIS having their own symbol on a blazer lapel, since they wouldn’t believe in anyone – men or women – wearing blazers. Girls like Shamima would be dressed head to toe in black, and be barefoot, waiting on their owners. Maybe they could have had their flag overlaid on the breasts of their jilbabs

Yes, this Shamima is such a delightful, very pleasant human being. She is just a poor misunderstood person. She was just a “dumb kid” when she went off to join in with the ISIS mob and take part in its atrocities. And pigs might fly. Here is this evil maggot trying to recruit others to join in with the murder and torture the subhuman ISIS crowd were carrying out. I agree with Stephen Grant’s comment up above about investigating her parents. I think that they might have noticed that their scumbag of a child had an ISIS badge on her blazer. They probably gave it to her. I hope that this piece of crap rots away in that camp for the rest of her evil life. It would be insanity to let this poisonous toad back into the UK.
Giacomo Latta says
She probably had no idea what ISIS was all about. Just before an article on the TV news about ISIS lining people up for a mass beheading, her bff probably grabbed the remote to switch to a re-run of Sex in the City.

Giacomo, Shemima Begum is reported to have served as a member of the religious police in the Islamic State, and she carried a Kalashnikov. This was no innocent naif.
And she herself said that she had no problem seeing garbage cans full of decapitated heads.
john smith says
This woman sickens me. It was only a few months ago she was telling reporters that she had no regrets about joining isis, and wasn’t fazed when finding decapitated heads in the bin. Then she named her baby Jerah (which means “one who wounds”) after a 7th century warlord who took delight in slaughtering non-muslims.
Then all of a sudden wakes up one morning, throws away her burqa, squeezes into some tight jeans, slaps on some lipstick, and is no longer a jihadi. Now thoroughly deradicalized, this evil bitch wants to return to the UK so she can warn other wanna be jihadi’s how wrong they are.
What a load of crap, after living with isis for all those years she is more radicalized now than ever.

True. mozlums are taught to lie for the goal of taking over. They pretend…as when a mozlum male meets young women and tells them how beautiful they are, how much he loves her, how he’ll take care of her and cherish her…and then when she falls for it, the Truth comes out, the ugly evil is revealed and the liar begins telling the truth…wear this, can’t go, you’re dirt, etc.
So, she learned how to lie “better” and to hide the truth of what is inside her brain, and her intentions…all for the goal of islam.

Spot on, John.

“There is ‘overwhelming evidence’ that Islamic State bride Shamima Begum was a victim of trafficking when she left the UK, a court heard yesterday.”
When one goes willingly, that changes things and that one is no longer a “victim.” If she had been in a very poor place and had been promised a job in a fancy house, or as a model, or some other high-paying position by a human trafficker, then she would be a victim. Those young women end up as slaves, prostitutes owing a pimp, and other horrible things happen to them.
She wanted to be a killer, slave-owner, wife of a high-ranking mozlum murderer in the isis org.
When one wants to do things that are wrong morally and legally and just plain evil, and is lured by others who are already doing these, that one is not a “victim.”

Spot on Somehistory.

Thank you, John Smith.

Seconded.
lynne m says
Any child (and she was a child) that is brainwashed and programmed IS A VICTIM. I mean there are child victims of perverts grooming them to be ok with being molested. They are just as brainwashed and programmed as a child that is victimized by extremist Islam. She is a victim. That doesn’t excuse illegality… I am merely saying that she was a child who was groomed by people who knew what they were doing.
gravenimage says
Being raped is *not* the same as recruiting schoolfellows to join the Islamic State, then serving as a member of the “religious police” and sneering at the victims of beheading.
somehistory says
++ so true.
somehistory says
Calling her a “victim of human traffickers” is dishonest. She travelled to the terror camps…on her own. She may have been deluded as to what the final outcome of her plan would be, but she is not, was not, a “victim of human traffickers.”
Claiming that she was, is taking away from those children, young people and even adults who are kidnapped or lured with false promises of a better job, a better home, a better life…promises of ***work***, employment…honest employment. Those ones are truly victims. This mozlum creep who “willingly” went to the terror killing place to be a “bride” of an isis leader, is not a “victim.’
Just because she was a teen, doesn’t mean she had no idea what she was doing in going there.
You should read what the 9 year-old girl told her school board regarding the blm posters displayed in her elementary school
“‘I Was Stunned’: Minnesota Girl Speaks out Against BLM Poster in Classroom”

. If a child that young can stand up for right, can argue the points she did, then a teenager can certainly figure out if she wants to murder and enslave other people for a demon “god.”

I avoid going into London these days, and I certainly wouldn’t get off the train anywhere in the Islamic Republic of Tower Hamlets unless I absolutely had to after I had a momentary nasty chance encounter with a 40-something year old muslima dressed in all her bin bag finery. She wasn’t looking where she was going and bumped into me at Whitechapel station, but, rather than apologise (as 99% of civilised Brits would), this specimen simply gave me the most aggressive dirty look as if to say ‘what do you think you’re doing on my territory?’. I think I probably returned the compliment. That split second told me just about everything I needed to know about that ‘person’ and explained everything about what can be seen going on in these areas that are now contaminated by these people. Shamima Begum fits the bill exactly, and nothing in the article here surprises me one iota about what she and her he rest of her nasty, devious ilk have been getting up to and are going to continue doing.
By the way, for UK readers and anyone with access to UK media, it’s interesting to reflect that Tower Hamlets was the home of that infamous fictional cockney anti-hero Alf Garnett. and his TV show ‘Til Death Do Us Part’ (which the woke BBC would never now show) gives a quite a good picture of the people and area as it used to be before the Great Contamination. Maybe it was never particularly pretty, but it was civilised, and the only malevolent evil that came to anyone or anything in the area came from Hitler’s bombs.
gravenimage says
Thanks for that grim anecdote, Jayell.
And for those Yanks who may not know, ‘Til Death Do Us Part’ was the inspiration for the ground-breaking sitcom ‘All in the Family’.
Jayell says
Was it really? But ‘All in the Family’ is so NICE and PROPER compared with ‘Til Death’! And I shudder to think what Alf Garnett’s comments on The Mighty Khan’s London of today would be – not repeatable by many, no doubt, and certain never to see the light of day on the BBC of 2021.
gravenimage says
Jayell, ‘All in the Family’ was not considered all that nice and proper here. But yes–while I have not seen it, I understand that ‘Til Death Do Us Part’ ( I think it was actually ‘Till Death Us Do Part’) was darker and harder-hitting.
American shows often have a propensity towards sentimentality, and that even turned up a bit in shows like ‘All in the Family’.
Anne Smith says
Interesting claim that she and her schoolfriends were “trafficked”.
After they were found to have decamped for Isis, and there was a huge fuss about it on the TV news, the BBC and ITV news then showed CCTV pictures of Shamima and her friends having arrived in Turkey, getting tickets and arranging the next part of their journey. They seemed to be doing it for themselves and certainly didn’t appear to have any evil men holding them prisoner. In fact they seemed on their own.
gravenimage says
Spot on, Anne.
The only excuse they have was age.
But note that Shamima Begum has *never* concemned the Islamic State, nor said that she has regretted her role in that savage tyranny.

UK: ISIS bride Shamima Begum wore an ISIS badge on her school blazer, tried to recruit classmates for jihad
……………….
The ISIS badge is pretty distinctive. Did school authorities not know wht this was, or were they too terrified of being accused of “Islamophobia” to do anything about it?

So being shipped off to marry a Jihadist is fine, but a police presense to prevent this means that scvhools are not safe places? Utter madness.
