The latest U.S. Embassy in Kabul (by which they mean the airport) alert warns Americans “because of potential security threats outside the gates at the Kabul airport, we are advising U.S. citizens to avoid traveling to the airport and to avoid airport gates at this time unless you receive individual instructions from a U.S. government representative to do so.”
What sort of security threats?
The Taliban control Kabul. They put a Haqqani Network figure, an Al Qaeda ally which is holding at least one American hostage, in charge of security.
And, just to make things better, a local ISIS affiliate may be plotting terrorist attacks at the airport.
“There is a strong possibility ISIS-K is trying to carry off an attack at the airport,” one Defense official told CNN.
The embassy site meanwhile urges to “Be aware of your surroundings at all times, especially in large crowds”, “Follow the instructions of local authorities including movement restrictions related to curfews” (in this case the Taliban) and “Follow the Department of State on Facebook and Twitter.”
Hopefully, Biden mentions this in his latest speech claiming that he’s accomplished his mission of stranding thousands of Americans behind enemy lines at the mercy of Al Qaeda, the Taliban, and ISIS.

I would be more concerned about ISIS kidnapping Americans, who have to get out into the open and identify themselves to try to escape. I have little doubt we’ll be seeing some new orange jumpsuit videos. Likely to celebrate Sept 11th, if they can manage it.

Harris is now on her Southeast Asia tour ,I guess she can still say she has never been to Europe yet when asked about Americans trapped from getting to the Kabul airport while she starts laughing like a rabid hyena.

How about putting pressure on the Mohammedan regimes that give aid and comfort to the Taliban? Make it clear to them that there will be HELL TO PAY if a single hair on the heads of the hostages is harmed!

Like I said in the previous thread, the best thing for Americans (and other non muslims stupid enough to go to Afghanistan) would be to join the Taliban. Or, if they wish, they could say that they’re backpacking to Uzbekistan and ask for directions to Samarqand. Say you wanna visit Timur’s mausoleum 😈
