How much attention is this getting in the mainstream media? How much attention is the media givingthe genocide against Christians in Africa?
The mainstream media prefers to promote “Islamophobia” initiatives, and unvetted, suicidal mass migration policies, which allow some of the same jihadists who are murdering Christians in the Middle East and Africa an easy opportunity to enter Western countries and live off taxpayers while continuing their jihad.
The jihad worldwide continues with cover from a far-Left, activist media and an increasing number of intimidated conservatives.
“Syria’s Christian population reduced by two-thirds since 2011: party,” by Karwan Faidhi Dri, Rudaw, August 9, 2021:
ERBIL, Kurdistan Region — About two-thirds of Syria’s Christians have fled the country in the past decade of conflict in the country, according to data from an Assyrian political party.
Christians made up eight to ten percent of Syria’s population before the start of the civil war in 2011. Today that number has decreased to three percent, the Assyrian Democratic Organization (ADO) told Rudaw. The party is close to the Turkey-backed Syrian opposition.
The number of Christians in the Kurdish-populated Jazira region in the very northeast of the country has decreased from 150,000 to around 55,000.
The data was confirmed by other Christian parties in Rojava. ADO obtained figures about Christians in regime-held areas from the Vatican.
Syria’s Christians helped to defeat the Islamic State group (ISIS). The Syriac Military Council is part of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and is a partner force of the global coalition against ISIS….
Tony Naim says
Christianity is in a state of decline everywhere particularly in the West, aided by a decline in birth rate, increased use of contraception , state funding of abortion on a large scale. Western Governments continue to drive the notion into the minds of their citizens that freedom is God and not the other way around.
Christianity has no future in the Middle East,
In the west, its fate will soon follow the same path but for different reasons.
Crusades Were Right says
In my experience Christians in the Middle East are among the MOST delusional regarding the Islamic threat to their existence.
They attend their churches and pray for peace and God’s blessings on all mankind, and presume that Muslims are doing the same.
What was it Mr. T used to say?
Infidel says
So in Syria, have Christians fled to Alawite areas, since they are a part of the Baath movement, or have they fled Syria altogether?
Note that this report is on areas not under the direct control of Damascus
Tony N says
What is most worrying is not said in the report: the ones who left are younger than the ones who remained behind.
