“Gaza resort bombed for holding mixed-gender concert,” by Khaled Abu Toameh, Jerusalem Post, August 8, 2021:
Bianco Resort, one of the Gaza Strip’s most luxurious seaside tourist sites, was attacked last Thursday with an explosive device.
The attack came after the resort was accused by Muslim extremists of holding a mixed-gender concert. No one was hurt, but a wall surrounding the resort was damaged.
Palestinian sources accused terrorists belonging to Salafi-Jihadist groups of being behind the attack.
Members of Islamic State (ISIS)-inspired groups in the Gaza Strip accused the resort of holding a music concert for men and women on the beach of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip.
Some members of the groups said they had warned the owner against holding the event, but he ignored the warning.
Salafi-Jihadist terrorists have regularly clashed with Hamas members in the Gaza Strip over the past decade. Hamas has also arrested or killed some members of the groups….

Yep. Gaza actually has a beautiful coastline, and could have a tourist industry like Israel’s–not gonna happen under Islam, though.

There is definitely some beauty in the Middle East. While on active duty Navy, spent some time in Hurghada, Egypt awaiting air transportation to the Persian Gulf. Went swimming in the Red Sea every morning.
Also saw some beautiful sunsets while aboard an Aegis class cruiser in the Persian Gulf – all the while trying to avoid floating mines.
Natural beauty in very dangerous places…

I am amazed. I thought he Gazans were groaning under the repression of Israel but they have resorts? Of course I know many Gazans cannot afford to visit such places but it contradicts the picture present by MSM. and shows that some people are making a lot of money there

Islam does not only create poverty. It is much worse. Let us look at the problem from the absolute basic level. Young men and young women are created beautiful and handsome. This is for one basic fact: so that they will be attracted to each other. This means sexual reproduction. The result is babies! The human race will therefore continue. This system is common to most creatures on this planet.
However, Islam has devised a different system: the female gender is treated as inferior to the male gender and is used by male moslems as a useful instrument or tool to maintain the religion. The daily family life of moslems is unknown to this writer but in many Islamic societies woman are allowed no education or even basic interchange with other humans.
Why we allow these backward savages to come to the civilised west is beyond understanding. They bring us nothing except problems; they are not intelligent enough to benefit our society in any way and their children are often mentally disabled due to their inter-family marriages.

So some Salafists are mad at Hamas for organizing mixed events. Atleast they are opposing Hamas on a real issue and not events such as Hamas leaders taking a cut of all charitable donations to fatten their already bloated bank accounts. Such a total non-issue.
