Often portrayed as a conspiracy by Hindu extremists, Love Jihad has become a serious threat in India. “Christian Youths, This Way,” a Christian Group in Clubhouse, is discussing the issue of Love Jihad, and Catholic bishops from Kerala have highlighted how scores of Christian women are being lured by the Islamic State through this approach. With the recent incident in Jammu and Kashmir of Sikh women being abducted by Muslim men, forcibly converted and married, it has become apparent that the Love Jihadis are targeting non-Muslim women from every other religious background. However, as the Hindu population is dominant in India, understandably the victims of Love Jihad are mostly of a Hindu background.
This is worrisome, because educating a young woman about the kind of company she must keep is not enough. The Love Jihadis assume false identities and flaunt Hindu names to prey on girls from Hindu families and lead them to a life of torments or, in many cases, brutal deaths. While various media houses continue to denounce the concept of Love Jihad as a farce, here are some real cases that show how Muslim men have duped Hindu women into toxic romantic relations year after year:
2017: A Dalit Hindu girl from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, having lost her parents, made ends meet by doing knitting work. She leveled rape allegations against a Muslim man, Amiruddin, who, she claimed, befriended her by introducing himself as Amar. She met Amiruddin as Amar and their relationship started to blossom. One day, Amiruddin asked to meet her to go to a local theatre, but he brought along his friend Wasim. The two took her to a secluded place and raped her. They were trying to abduct her when the locals took notice and saved her. Medical tests corroborated her claims of rape. The incident also triggered communal tension in the area.
2018: A resident of West Bengal’s Konnagar, Sheikh Sultan, introduced himself as a Hindu to a woman from a Hindu Bengali Brahmin community, 35-year-old Subhologna Chakraborty. The relationship progressed, and the couple was headed for a court marriage. The Chakraborty family discovered Sultan’s real identity shortly before the wedding and called it off, which enraged the Muslim man who was posing as a Hindu. One evening, Sultan barged into the Chakraborty house and shot the woman at point-blank range. Subhologna’s parents also suffered injuries while trying to stop Sultan. The neighbors rushed the three to the Uttarpara State General hospital, where Subhologna was declared dead.
2019: A15-year-old Hindu girl from Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly was befriended by a man who claimed to be named Aman. Working in a local beauty parlor, the Hindu girl trusted “Aman,” as he sported Hindu religious symbols and visited the temple with her. Taking advantage of this trust, the man raped her and filmed the incident. It was then that the Hindu minor realized that Aman was a Muslim who would use indecent videos to blackmail her repeatedly. Finally, the victim, accompanied by her mother, approached the police, and it was revealed that Aman’s real name was Khalid. Several charges were brought against the accused, including one under the Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
2020: Love Jihad cases of varying intensity are a regular occurrence in Kanpur, a town in Uttar Pradesh that is emerging as the epicenter of Love Jihad. A 14-year-old Hindu minor was allegedly trapped by Fateh Khan, a Muslim youth who had introduced himself as Aryan Malhotra. Fateh had forged his identity and was living as a tenant at the victim’s house for three years. To pass himself off as Hindu, he would flaunt several religious insignias, including the sacred Hindu thread that is worn around the wrist and tilak on the forehead, and frequented temples. He soon befriended the minor girl of the household, began engaging in sexual relations with her, and then forced her to convert to Islam. The situation was then brought to the notice of other family members, who lodged a police complaint.
2021: Salim, a resident of Sheikhpura village, identified as a Hindu bearing the name Sonu, and tricked a local Hindu woman into a relationship. The Hindu woman was impregnated several times, but Salim forced her to abort every time. She once gave birth to a son, who was killed by Salim and his brother. The couple finally married in 2021, but the Hindu victim did not know either that Sonu was a Muslim or that he was already married. She was shocked to learn these facts after the marriage; Salim also forced a religious conversion on her. Being from an influential family, Salim aka Sonu had gotten their marriage registered with a back date of 2018. During this marriage, the victim was put through unendurable mental and physical tortures; she also bore a girl child, after which, Salim decided in 2021 to marry a Muslim woman and abandon his Hindu wife. Salim has since been arrested and has been charged under the law regarding forced religious conversion and several other sections of the Indian Penal Code.
These are just a few of the scores of such instances that are being reported from every corner of India every month. Sahib Ali posed as Rahul and Shoaib Khan posed as S K Sinha in the capital city to befriend, abduct, molest and take advantage of young Hindu girls. The Uttar Pradesh police formed a special investigation team in September 2020 after 14 Love Jihad cases emerged in Kanpur alone in one year. Banned radical Islamic organizations such as the Popular Front of India and SIMI, which are known for funding terror activities, have come to the notice of the police for having an alleged role in organized Love Jihad cases.
Unfortunately, Love Jihad, despite a multitude of proofs establishing its veracity as a phenomenon, continues to be regarded as fictional in the narrative of the popular media, deceiving people worldwide.

Swami Yati Narsinghnand Saraswati – the Hindu priest who has a fatwa on his head for denouncing Mohammed – has in several recent public appearances stated that there is no ‘love’ in ‘love jihad’: it should more accurately be recognized as a ‘jihad against women’. I know that many might object to the term, since it doesn’t account for the islamic treatment of muslim women, but I think it’s pretty accurate. UP CM Yogi Adityanath needs to crack down harder on this, and read muslims of his state the riot act. And other states in India need to follow suit. One of the states listed above is Bengal, and there, it’s a lost cause unless Modi grows a pair and dismisses the TMC government

I am yet to come up with a decent term for Love jihad, as you have also stated. Some terms like procreation jihad, demographic jihad might be interesting but the overall, the audience may not be enamored.
All said and done, a Muslim has a very high degree of confidence that his wife would convert or be forced to convert, hence they embark on this journey of lure-a-girl-for-jihad by hook or by crook.
I personally know a daughter of a fundamentalist Christian preacher from Kerala who love-married a Muslim. Though I didn’t hear anything about her post marriage, she killed self by suicide after about 15 years of marriage, couple of years ago. The marriage must have been agonizingly painful to take such an extreme step.
Heena Talreja, converted and later gang raped (at husband’s behest) and killed by her Muslim husband in 2015 also made news, and is still making rippling effect on the internet.
What a way to ensure that every woman is in the arms of Satan through love jihad!!!

One thing to note about these marriages is that contrary to what liberal people seem to think, it’s not like these women, after converting to islam, live happily ever after as muslims. Their muslim husbands look at them as concubines, particularly if they refuse to convert, and may take different steps against them, such as kick them out to murder them. In the meantime, having antagonized their own families, these women can’t return home either, and since they prioritized their marriage over a professional career, they can’t even be financially independent. Not surprisingly, a lot of them, if they’re not murdered, end up taking their own lives
‘Interfaith marriage’, which libs think this is, is the last term that ought to be used to describe such relationships

There are cases of love-marriages among colleagues and other acquaintances with Muslims. Most Muslims males might start the married life on a positive note but when the stigma of marrying an infidel sets in (the mind) things can go really awry. You never know when the man is going to turn super pious, any ways Islamic culture in Islamic societies and families wont’ allow the girl to gel completely with the boy.as she is generally inferior and being from infidel background makes it all the more pariah in the family and Islamic societies. All this stems from the Islamic culture of who is more Islamic and who is not.
Actress Karina Kapoor was not forced to accept Islam before or at marriage, but when the offspring came he was named Taimur, a known Islamic tyrant-invader. There must be this eerie love in such families !
I also came across a “perfect” love-marriage of a Christian male and Islamic girl from Kerala. Their marriage was solemnized because their fathers had known each other, having met in Persian Gulf country (where they worked). I asked him: Do you study the bible with your sons? He said no, obviously there is a moratorium on talking about God or religion in their family. What kind of love do they have in their home? Strong undercurrents of unspeakable tensions !!

I have done some on ground work in Love-Jihad cases. The level of deception these innocent Hindu girls are subjected to boggles the mind. All cases involve:
deception
coercion
blackmail/threats of harming the family if girl does not cooperate
sexual assault
Once a girl is “trapped”, honestly it is next to impossible to get out since these Muslim boys operate in full gangster mode and use all kinds of intimidation. The only hope is to prevent the girl from being trapped in the first place.
A simple thing is the girl must insist on seeing Aadhaar card of the boy to verify his identity.

Aadhaar cards too can be forged. No, the solution to this is something that is sociologically pretty difficult. Usually, people in their tweens, when they start seeing someone, want to make sure that the person is right before they want their friends to start gossiping about them, let alone letting their parents know. After all, this is a country where even having your name associated romantically – particularly if one is a girl – ‘taints’ one mildly, which is why most people wouldn’t wanna go ahead w/ it unless and until they are very sure
But the only solution here that makes sense to me is that the parents of the Hindu girls have to get to meet and know the parents of the boyfriends, so that they know that there is no chicanery going on. That way, they are on top of it, and the muslim gangs can’t get an advantage on her w/o running into the police. Of course, this too would only work in some states: in the above story in Bengal, Subhologna Chakraborty’s family would have been SOL even if they did approach the police

I went to the website you referenced. One good story I saw was the establishment of a new (hopefully right wing) party called the Hind samrajya party: hopefully one that will seriously challenge the BJP from its right so that that party can no longer take Hindu votes for granted. I liked the agenda of this party:
– Only Political party with an agenda of Hindu Rashtra in Bharat.
– Highest Veneration for Gau, Ganga and Geeta
– Constitutional Reforms to end all injustice to Hindu majority people.
– Free Temples from Govt Control
– Liberate Mathura-Kashi-Bhojshala in the line of Ayodhya
– No Reservation for Muslim Minority or Christian, only Reservation for SC/ST
– Abolition of Article 30, Waqf act, Waqf council, Ministry of Minority affairs & Places of Worship Act 1991
I know that it takes a while before a party can establish its bearings, but time ain’t on India’s side, so it’s important that this party grow quickly. And I like the unapologetic name of ‘Hind Samrajya’ i.e. empire of India party. Although I would have preferred that they not call it ‘Hind’, since that’s the name of India in Urdu – what the muslims call it

On the caste based reservation, I too am opposed to it, but since the lower castes constitute the bulk of India’s population, no party can win by opposing that outright. The long term solution in India is for government jobs to be a decreasing fraction of the economy, so that nobody will go it it, and it’ll wither on the vine. So any right wing party that promises more deregulation and privatization will have it right. One problem that this party will have is that India’s supreme court has already drawn an equivalence b/w caste and class, so that lower classes of muslims and Christians too will be eligible for quotas
Initially, even the ‘veneration for gau (cows)’ didn’t sound right to me, except that every party in India that has not promised that has also looked the other way on cattle theft and smuggling by muslims, so that’s something that needs to be cracked down on. Personally, I don’t oppose people having beef, but in India, that’s the equivalent of enriching muslims. since none of the other groups, including Christians, slaughter cattle to sell beef
I think that the script has flipped in that the Congress is no longer the #1 party even among India’s opposition, and parties are looking at who is the #1 alternative to the BJP. Problem is that all the parties are pulling the BJP leftwards and towards secular agendas. Just like here in the US, where Republicans tend to take conservative votes for granted and pander to centrists and Democrats in order to increase their vote share, similarly the BJP tends to take Hindutva votes for granted and pander to muslims to win the votes not necessarily of muslims, but of secular Hindus. As long as there is nobody else for Hindutva voters to turn to, this will continue. That’s why the creation of this new party is important: by threatening the BJP from the right, it will force them to take Hindu concerns seriously
Also, a few of the items on their agenda – particularly the one about freeing temples from government control – is very important. Right now, while muslims, Sikhs and Christians have their own autonomous bodies to take care of their mosques/madrasas, gurudwaras and churches, all Hindu temples are under government control. As a result, the only schools in India are either missionary or government or madrassas, and the result is Indians all learning very distorted woke history – this has been going on since the 1950s. The reason for such a demand is that Hindu temples would control their own funds, create their own schools and other institutions and get empowered, and be in a better position to protect their communities. This is one thing that the BJP hasn’t touched, but it’s important enough that a party arise to challenge them on it
In short, India needs a party like this to force the BJP to the right and combat jihad activities seriously
