Is anybody still watching baseball? After Major League Baseball made Marxist, race-baiting agitprop a permanent part of its website, and moved the All-Star Game away from Atlanta because Georgia legislators had the temerity to act to prevent voter fraud, numerous longtime baseball fans (me included) turned away from the game. But many Americans apparently still love sports more than they hate Leftist propaganda and the politicization of everything. An astonishing 34,000 people were on hand at Denver’s Coors Field Sunday for a largely meaningless game between two teams that are going nowhere, the Miami Marlins and the Colorado Rockies, and thus were on hand to witness America’s latest racist atrocity: a fan repeatedly shouting “N***er” at a black player. Except, as you may already have guessed, no one shouted any such thing.
On Sunday night, the Rockies posted a statement: “The Colorado Rockies are disgusted at the racial slur by a fan directed at the Marlins’ Lewis Brinson during the ninth inning of today’s game. Although the subject was not identified prior to the end of the game, the Rockies are still investigating this incident. The Rockies have zero tolerance for any form of racism or discrimination, and any fan using derogatory language of any kind will be ejected and banned from Coors Field.”
Good. Glad we have that cleared up. In this age of Trumpist white supremacism and all the other fictional Leftist race bogeymen out there, one could easily have gotten the impression that shouting the most toxic racial slur in America today at the top of one’s lungs in a ballpark crowded with tens of thousands of people was just fine with the Colorado Rockies.
Like the Rockies, ESPN went with the claim that the man had shouted what is now fifth-gradishly known as “the n-word” as if it were established fact: “Colorado Rockies investigating after fan uses racial slur during Miami Marlins outfielder Lewis Brinson’s at-bat.” So did the Denver Post: “Fan yells racial slur at Miami Marlins’ Lewis Brinson at Coors Field; Rockies investigating.” And the New York Daily News: “Marlins outfielder Lewis Brinson repeatedly called N-word by fan during game against Rockies.” And the Washington Post: “‘Disgusted’ Rockies investigating racial slur shouted while Black Marlins player was batting.” And AP: “Marlins’ Brinson target of fan’s racial slur in Colorado.”
Predictably, the most unhinged Leftist sportscaster in history, Keith Olbermann, was among the many who registered his dismay that the Rockies hadn’t announced “what they did to” the fan. (Would lynching be in order, Keith?) “Shouting the N-word at a game? Where is the @Rockies statement on how they apprehended the racist and what they did to him? Where is @mlb’s investigation? This is a private business and they are responsible for the conduct of their patrons.”

Yeah it was on SkyNews last night and it was a typical juvenile lefty hysterical load. All those news outlets copy each other without doing their own independent checking but if anyone had bothered to check or waited until the adults had investigated then it would have been revealed that the fan in question was calling out to ‘Dinger’ which is a dinosaur mascot belonging to one of the teams, he wanted Dinger to come over and talk to his son, he made the mistake of calling out to Dinger at the same moment that a black hitter was at bat.

The only professional sport that I watch now, on occasion, is PGA golf. And the only college sports I watch are those of the service academies, e.g., Army-Navy football game, etc.
I used to love watching the Red Sox. My dad brought me into Fenway many times and I even got to see Ted Williams play during his last year.
And one year, me and a good friend went down to Winter Haven to watch spring training – and I even got a nice picture of myself with Carlton Fisk.
Those were the days…

I can’t remember how Mowgli learnt to speak the local village dialect, he was brought up by a wolf pack so you’d think he would mainly speak wolf.
I think I remember more about Wind in the Willows and Winnie the Pooh than the Jungle Book…it was a long time ago, I think civilization was still building stuff back then instead of tearing it down and kids went to school to learn about odd things like reading and writing and adding up.

But there were no white characters in the book. Yeah, there was the song ‘Louie Louie’ where a bunch of apes danced like Negros, and at the end of the dance, a beautiful ancient temple just collapses. So to sum up:
– A (Hindu-like) temple gets destroyed. Is that a good thing or bad? Normally, it would have been good had Sher Khan – the muslim tiger – destroyed it, but here, it’s destroyed by Baloo. So didn’t quite get whether it was good or bad
– Apes ape Negros, so obviously racist, right?
– The only human in the story is a person of color – an Indian. No, not a feather Indian, but a dot Indian. At the end of the story, when he goes to the village, he seems to be united w/ a young girl, leaving it open to the imagination about them becoming a couple, which is both sexist and transphobic. Did anyone bother to ask her her pronouns, and whether she wanted an opposite gender partner or not?

Infidel, the film is a bit different from the book–but both are considered beyond the pale these days. Disney has pulled the Jungle Book–along with Peter Pan, Dumbo, and the Aristocats. And no–I don’t know what was considered offensive in these movies. Maybe the Siamese cats in the last mentioned one?

Why would the MSM do that ? The whole point of the operation was to score Left-wing Brownie Points by slurring sports fans and polishing their own credentials as woke warriors.
They knew that it wasn’t true even as they printed it, because nobody in their right mind would seriously imagine that a lone fan was standing there repeatedly yelling TWTBAUAAEOATT – (the-word-that-black-Americans-apparently-use-about-each-other-all-the-time). It just didn’t happen, in the same way that the fabled “Jan 6th insurrection” didn’t happen.
The idea of making such a claim may have originated even before the game, when some socialist hack noticed the name of the mascot, and thought “Bingo! I can use that…” and waited for their opportunity.
This is how the MSM works – first generate the slur, and then retract it (if at all) days later at the foot of page ten, when nobody’s noticing.
I have no idea what “Dinger” looks like – in fact I’ve never watched a baseball game in my life, and see a really big future for myself in maintaining this abstention – but to avoid further confusion, may I suggest that the Rockies adopt some sort of unmistakable animal mascot ?
A Grizzly Bear would be the obvious choice, but if the American media are to be believed, baseball stadia are notoriously infested with checked-shirt wearing, pick-up driving, Dolly Parton-listening, Trump-voting, gun-toting red-necks – and anyone unwise enough to emerge onto the field of play clad in faux-fur ursine regalia would doubtless be gunned down within seconds by crazed in-bred trophy hunters.
To show the Rockies team-owners’ enduring commitment to importing predators from across the southern border, the only sensible and politically-correct choice must surely be a family-friendly, fur-clad feline of the stripey sort so movingly described by AA Milne in his popular “Winnie-the-Pooh”stories, and transcribed into celluloid by the late Mr Walter Disney ?
The new mascot could come bounding onto the field at slack moments during the game, loudly demanding helpings of Hunny, Condensed Milk, and Roo’s Strengthening Medicine while the crowd – in delighted recognition – lustily yell “Tigger!”
In that way, no reasonable person – or even a journalist – could ever accidentally-on-purpose mistake what they are saying ever again…..

In UK This week, some nutjobs have been calling for “Curry” word to be banned, as far as I know from a TV prog a few years back on Indian Cooking in the different regions of that country, one Indian man say curry means gravy, so its another example of how mad this population is becoming. It is amazing that one group can use the N word and M-F every other word and its ok. I find M-F rather offensive to women but they get a pass. I know of a school principle that won’t discipline a child for calling a teacher a M-F because thats how the Childs family talks at home. The world is going nuts.

(I decided not to inform them of the Latin meaning of the word.) The mishos have since relocated; too many jihadists in Niger.
