“Afghans have broken ‘shackles of slavery’: Pakistan PM Imran Khan,” PTI, August 16, 2021:
Pakistan is accused of facilitating the Taliban rebellion which ultimately resulted in the capturing of the country after being ousted about 20 years ago.
Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on August 16 said that Afghanistan has broken the “shackles of slavery”, in the neighbouring war-torn country. His statement comes only a day after the Taliban insurgents closed in on Kabul before entering the city and took over the presidential palace, forcing embattled President Ashraf Ghani to join fellow citizens and foreigners to flee the country.
Mr. Khan made these remarks while addressing a ceremony to launch the first phase of the Single National Curriculum (SNC) from Grade 1 to 5, which was part of the manifesto of his ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party.
The Premier spoke how the parallel education system led to the existence of “English medium” schools, resulting in the adoption of “someone else’s culture”, in Pakistan.
“When you adopt someone’s culture you believe it to be superior and you end up becoming a slave to it,” he said, adding that it creates a system of mental salves that is worse than the actual slavery.
In the same breath, he indirectly likened the ongoing upheaval in Afghanistan with the people of the country breaking the “shackles of slavery”.
Mr. Khan said becoming a mental slave was worse than being an actual slave, adding that subjugated minds can never make big decisions.

Officially Pakistan has maintained that it wanted a broad-based inclusive government in Afghanistan and was also hosting the Afghan leaders to create consensus for a peaceful transformation.
Meanwhile, Mr. Khan launched the SNC despite criticism because it put emphasis on religious teaching instead of modern national sciences. All provinces agreed to introduce it except the Sindh province….

Pure projection. Evil is simply superb at projection. One can find it with Marxism, with Nazism, with Islam and with the newest totalitarian ideology, one which has gutted traditional liberalism as it desires to gut the First and Second Amendments to the American Constitution (and pretty much the Constitution in general). I am of course referring to modern liberalism, which has nothing truly liberal about it, and which with many whiffs of Marxism, and not a few “pointers” from the way Nazi Germany operated, is probably more accurately called Leftism.
So, per this article, Khan is nothing more than one more symptom of what happens when totalitarian evil is in charge. Projection will be all over the place and any hopes of liberty, equality under the law, a true Golden Rule for all, common sense and a proper moral intelligence will be the casualties as the malevolent totalitarian ideology du jour gains more and more power all the while accusing others of being the problem. Oh yeah, pure projection.
I’m on my second beer. I need to be especially considering the fact that the most powerful office in the world is now held by a once mediocre man with mostly terrible ideas who is now a mediocre man with mostly terrible ideas and who has dementia. It’s come to this? Yes it has. Maybe a third beer is in order.

Yes, an oxymoron for sure.

The real, actural , “shackles of slavery” will come upon people of Afghanistan after the Taliban force and inflect the brutally harsh bondage of tyrannical rule Sharia law on that country.

I think the left secretly admires the Taliban. The Taliban are not afraid to do what the left in the west can only dream of (to date) …
Their opponents are not just discredited and cancelled, they are literally disposed of.
The Taliban openly hate and despise their opponents, the left have to pretend not to.

Not so sure about the new “Progressive” Left.
Since the stolen 2020 US Presidential Election, they have become pretty emboldened…

Well, back in the 90s, the Taliban, along w/ Saudi Arabia, were the only 2 islamic entities that the Left openly opposed.
These days, the Left is very careful about any criticism of the Taliban, lest their mohammedan comrades take offense

Pakistan’s new school curriculum will develop amoral jihadists ready to conquer the world. They will be like the fanatical, hate-filled Hitler Youth.

Ah, yes–any attempt at democracy is “slavery” as pious Muslims see it. That we are still funding this Islamic hell hole is insanity.

I thought science was supposed to be open to any people? And note how often Muslim apologists claim that science was pioneered by Islam. Not so much…
And remember how many peiople thought that Khan would be “moderate” because he was educated in England and spent much of his early career playing cricket? Doesn’t seem to have helped.

As a pious Muslim, I doubt Khan has any problem with actual slavery, so long as the victims are Infidels. And he is already a slave to Allah, as every good Muslim is supposed to be–and he wants to make sure that no Pakistanis escape that slavery…

Since he’s such a fan of the Taliban, why doens’t he start negotiations w/ them to merge Pakistan and Afghanistan? Hamid Karzai, Abdullah Abdullah and Gulbadin Heqmatyar have all formed a transition committee to transfer power from the Afghan government to the Taliban. Imran Khan should join it and expand its scope to merge Pakistan w/ Afghanistan, and while the Taliban head can be the president, Imran Khan can be the prime minister. Then this new Afghanistan can have a free for all civil war b/w Pathans, Tajiks, Panjabis, Hazaras, Sindis, Turkmen, Balochis and Uzbeks

What a stupid thing it is for the US to have given so much money to the Taliban loving Pakistan government. Wikki tells me this:
Does the US support Pakistan?
Since 1948–2016, the United States has provided nearly US$78.3 billion (adjusted to 2016 value of dollar) to Pakistan in grants annually in forms of military aid (which amounts to 96% of collective US aid).

Well PM Imran Khan is right about this. The English-speaking Pakistani believe themselves t to be superior to the non-English speaking Pakistani. The same English speaking Pakistani has access to ” foreign culture” and therefore creates two levels of society
The same probably applies to India although not as severe.
Don’t forget PM Imran Khan is a product of “foreign culture”
Infidel says
Dear Imran
Once the Taliban have established full control over Afghanistan, Pakistan is next. Your ministers keep demanding that Afghanistan recognize the Durand Line. They won’t, and their solution will be to conquer all of Pakistan and claim it as Pashtunistan.
