They’re attempting to worsen the reputation of the police at a time when it is at its lowest, and to tie up the resources of the police and the courts, instead of apologizing for Sudesh Amman’s jihad activity and working in the Muslim communities to ensure that no other young Muslims emulate their relative. And no one in Britain bats an eye or thinks there is anything amiss about this.
“He didn’t have to die, say family of Streatham terrorist Sudesh Amman,” by Duncan Gardham, The Times, August 2, 2021:
The family of a terrorist who was shot dead by police are to question whether he could have been arrested earlier.
It is the first time relatives of an Islamist terrorist in the UK are to ask in court if the killing was necessary.
The inquest into Sudesh Amman is due to open today at the Royal Courts of Justice in London.
Amman, 20, was under surveillance while he was buying items for a fake suicide vest, which he constructed in his probation hostel. The next day he grabbed a knife from a shop and stabbed two passers-by in Streatham High Road, south London.
Neither suffered fatal wounds but Amman was shot dead by armed covert surveillance officers just over a minute after the…

Shot down like a rat. His family can take comfort in the fact that he is safe with allah and the recycled virgins.

The whole family should be deported ,then they would positively have nothing to “fear” from English police or western “customs” of not stabbing strangers in the street if you “fear” being shot by the authorities for doing the Jihad dance of death.

Sounds a lot like suicide by cop. Was he ever screened using the Islamo-Crazy-Meter?

This would only be the case if he knew that he was under surveillance–I doubt it.

Graven It says he he was in a probation hostel, which means he had already been convicted of some offence

william, of course he had been convicted of an offense. Your belief that all those on probation are under suveillance is mistaken, however. Most are not.

His family truly believe what they are saying. No different than the mother of the Tsnarav (however its spelled) Boston Marathon bombers brothers.
I know you all remember her screeching about what good boys there were. After all, they only killed nonbelievers.
SSDD.

Fortunately the family will not get much sympathy & it would be politically damaging for any British MP to show support for the family’s statement. In the UK we have a security policy called “Prevent” which runs in all public institutions, where signs of radicalisation must be reported. It is much stronger & more intrusive than in the US (& of course is opposed by some Leftists but the leadership of both main parties support it).

I hope so…

From the BBC website-
While in prison Aman had apparently signalled his intent to strike again once in the community,
Police were so concerned about Amman’s apparent unrepentant behaviour in Belmarsh that they asked the prison governor not to release him.
However, the request was turned down because the offence Amman was jailed for could not justify an extension of his sentence.
This isn’t unusual as parole has been made generally easier over the years & it’s a live political issue. At least he was under surveillance by armed officers-as you know, our Police are not generally armed but in cities there are Armed Response Units in addition to the surveillance officers and they are very efficient. The problem is that there are too many potential surveillance targets and some dangerous people are missed-the Manchester bomber for example.

Maybe not, but it’s a good thing that he did.

And the next thing out of their mouths will be something along the lines of,,,, this innocent child was supporting us financially, we should be compensated, all 200 of us in his close family.
Two things could well be at play here.
The filters that mothers see their children through or
the cynical grab for money from the infidels that comes when their scumbag kid meets his maker whilst breaking the law.

Yes. And mama claimed that he was “radicalized” in prison–even though he was in prison in the first place for disseminating “extremist” materials.
You can’t be “radicalized” in prison if you are in prison for being “radicalized”…
In reality, he’d been preaching Jihad since he was a child:

UK: Family of jihadi who stabbed two people claims in court that he was wrongfully killed by police
…………
How *dare* the police stop this Jihadist from stabbing Infidels? Of course as they see it this killing was “wrongful”.

People can claim anything, yet saying such a statement that doesn’t mean that a claim made is true.

Who do these cops think they are? His parents or grandparents?

Seems like my comment about how cops are not exactly our friends was not approved by the moderators, and it’s not the first time my comment wasn’t getting through. I guess even JW practices censorship when it runs counter to a particular narrative. Shame…

LB, generally the comments that do not get through are those that can be taken as inciting violence. Occasionally it is something else, like being way off topic, but this is much rarer.
