If you were wondering how the Biden administration could have had no idea that the Taliban was going to take over so quickly, but could immediately identify and locate an ISIS leader and target him in a drone strike, here’s how.
Biden and his handlers should resign in disgrace. But they know the establishment media will cover for them.
“A family says 10 of its members were killed in a U.S. drone strike in Kabul,” New York Times, August 30, 2021:
Hours after a U.S. military drone strike in Kabul on Sunday, Defense Department officials said that it had blown up a vehicle laden with explosives, eliminating a threat to Kabul’s airport from the Islamic State Khorasan group.
But at a family home in Kabul on Monday, survivors and neighbors said the strike had killed 10 people, including seven children, an aid worker for an American charity organization and a contractor with the U.S. military.
Zemari Ahmadi, who worked for the charity organization Nutrition and Education International, was on his way home from work after dropping off colleagues on Sunday evening, according to relatives and colleagues interviewed in Kabul.
As he pulled into the narrow street where he lived with his three brothers and their families, the children, seeing his white Toyota Corolla, ran outside to greet him. Some clambered aboard in the street, others gathered around as he pulled the car into the courtyard of their home.
It was then that they say the drone struck.
The missile hit the rear end of the Corolla in the narrow courtyard inside the walled family compound, blowing out doors, shattering windows and spraying shrapnel. Mr. Ahmadi and some of the children were killed inside his car; others were fatally wounded in adjacent rooms, family members said. An Afghan official confirmed that three of the dead children were transferred by ambulance from the home on Sunday.
Mr. Ahmadi’s daughter Samia, 21, was inside when she was struck by the blast wave. “At first I thought it was the Taliban,” she said. “But the Americans themselves did it.”
Samia said she staggered outside, choking, and saw the bodies of her siblings and relatives. “I saw the whole scene,” she said. “There were burnt pieces of flesh everywhere.”…
Jim says
If this is true, it confirms the reputation American presidents have for killing women and children and calling it collateral damage. Hopefully there is some good excuse.
Ade Fegan says
The excuse is probably that Biden’s connections within the Taliban deliberately gave bad intelligence (just a wild guess)
gravenimage says
Just crap from Jim here. The implication that the US is known for targeting women and children is utterly false.
Infidel says
True. However, had this happened under a Republican president, you’d have seen MoveOn.org, Code Pink, SPLC, ACLU, ADL et al on steroids demanding the impeachment of the president
gravenimage says
True, Infidel.
bill says
My thought exactly. The US military were not to know the vehicle was laden with powerful explosives and if it was the blame lies with the Tban or ISIS, who were taking them to kill people at the airport, where they had already murdered innocent civilians and US soldiers. Of course CNN et al will try to make a heart rending story about it, I never believe CNN anyway but I would not spill too many tears. These people have no hesitation about murdering their children or siblings if they become ‘un-Islamic’.
Never forget the Tban tried to murder Malala, an innocent teenager who was only advocating for girls’ education. She is just one among very many including school teachers.
That was not Biden’s or Obama;s fault and neither is this. I am not in the least in favour of Biden BTW
Malcolm (South Afric) says
Well to kill innocent civilians is horrendous, children unforgivable, a family even more so.
Not opposed to drone strikes, if the target is guilty of terrorist activity, that is incontrovertible.
Had doubts from the beginning as the State dept, the Pentagon plus Biden is a clown show.
Bikinis not Burkas says
What did Muhammad say about family casualties on night raiding parties? “They are of them”
Malcolm (South Afric) says
Here is The Wall Street Journal boasting about this secret ninja missile
“The missile used by the U.S. in the airstrike, called an R9X, is inert. Instead of exploding, the weapon ejects a halo of six large blades stowed inside the skin of the missile, which deploy at the last minute to shred the target of the strike, allowing military commanders to pinpoint their target and reduce the possibility for civilian casualties.”
Keith O says
Malcolm, The footage shown on TV is of an explosion not a slice and dice.
If there was explosives n the car the entire compound would have gone away.
This was a standard “go bang” missile in the footage with no extra explosion.
Malcolm (South Afric) says
@ Keith O
Agree with you, had a good look at the wreak. It demonstrates the B, S The Wall Street Journal ls.
Keys says
Probably no discoverable excuse, Jim.
Lots of questions need to be answered; lots of possibilities, but it is not possible to get a credible investigation. What Western reporter is going to go in to Taliban controlled Kabul and investigate ? Besides the Us will be out of Afghanistan in a matter of hours !
What caused the larger explosion ?
Could more explosives be put in to the drone to cause a larger explosion to make it look like Biden must have hit a suicide bomber ?
Could the Taliban put explosives into the truck of the guys Corolla, and then told the Americans that he was a suicide bomber ?
Since those killed had connections to the Americans, could the the Taliban given false “intelligence” to the Americans to wipe out their enemies making the Americans look even more repulsive by wiping out an Afghan family ?
Plenty more questions, for sure !
And in any case, every possibility makes the Biden Administration look like the foolish, incompetent, dangerous manipulators and schemers they are.
Keys says
This post was a response to Jim’s comment above hoping for “some good excuse”.
Sorry for my negligent editing.

The drone reportedly hit a car filled with explosives.
Steve says
I don’t care. After a year there myself it is one less family that will grow up to kill me and my family
Infidel says
Precisely! All those tears over civilian casualties in muslim countries is way overrated. If we don’t kill them, some of their countrymen will
Chrissie01 says
are you serious?
I am not fond of Muslims. But this is cynical and void of all respect for life.
The point I do not get is how the West is not just simply protecting its own societies from Islam.
Ban it, ban the people who spread it. And respect sovereign territories. Once they attack yours, strike back with all might.
To me, THAT sounds like a clear and plausible approach.
Raja says
Always a probability Infidel,
Isn’t it justified to break through some “human shield” while taking off some known evils. The civilian causalities, if true could have been human shield too.
When you are dealing with such a big or nasty enemy should you cry foul over some “inevitables”
Raja says
Infidel,
Why hasn’t the US taken care of Dr. Afridi, who the US claimed helped in getting Osama?
The West is shedding crocodile tears for the civilians.
PMK says
Before condemning the Biden administration, some questions:
1. Did the car contain explosives or didn’t it?
2. Was the US supposed to tow the car away before blowing it up?
3. Didn’t we use a drone to blow up the car containing Anwar al-Awlaki without causing other civilian casualties? (Civilians in the car with him don’t count.)
4. Jihadists ARE civilians. They have families that know what they are doing. Did this man bring a Corolla filled with explosives into his neighborhood, endangering his own family and countless others? Who’s to say he wasn’t a jihadist himself?
Mistakes happen, but given the horrors of Jihad that we have witnessed over decades, I’ll wait to pass judgment on US forces. I no longer give Muslims the benefit of the doubt. Thank Islam for that.
I’m so

US killed ten civilians, including seven children, in drone strike targeting ISIS-K leader
…………………
Oh, great. Although of negligible long-term strategic use, I had thought this drone strike a good thing.
Where the hell did Biden get his intelligence? From the Taliban?
gravenimage says
My mistake here–these are two separate incidents. The strike against ISIS-K leadership (presumably) came off just fine.
This was a drone targeting a car full of explosives headed to Kabul airport. This is good in an of itself; unfortunately the car was passing through a residential neighborhood on its way to the airport.
Its blowing up caused the deaths.
Keys says
gi, with tons of respect –
According to this article, if we believe what the family and neighbors are saying and the reporter, the driver was an “aid worker for an American charity organization and a contractor with the U.S. military”, who was “on his way home from work after dropping off colleagues on Sunday evening” … and was pulling “into the narrow street where he lived with his three brothers and their families, the children, seeing his white Toyota Corolla, ran outside to greet him.”
So maybe he was really a Taliban operative working for the Americans. Maybe he was stopping at home before heading to the airport. Maybe he did not know there were explosives in the back – maybe he did. Maybe the family and neighbors are lying.
At any rate what the Biden Administration is saying, and what the family and neighbors and reporter are saying raises lots of questions in my mind.
gravenimage says
Me, too, Keys. I had doubted that most drones, from what I know, would be powereful enough to take out ten people, and that it was the explosives in the car that did the damage. I had assumed that the car with explosives was another car.
Either this car *was* full of explosives, or the intel was very bad. Is someone lying here? I just don’t know.
Manchester Lad says
I can tell nothing from that footage. It could be just Taliban propaganda – forcing a previous interpreter to say his family was killed as the price for not killing his family.
We can’t trust the Taliban and we can trust the Biden administration only sightly more.
Not proven – could be anything.
Keys says
Fully agree !

Also possible, Manchester Lad.

Immanuel Kant: “No state should interfere violently in the constitution and government of another state. For what can entitle it to do so? [….]
…But as long as this internal dispute has not yet been decided, this interference of external powers would be a violation of the rights of a people struggling only with its internal illness and dependent on no one else, would itself therefore be a given scandal, and would make the autonomy of all states insecure.”
The principle of non-interference, which goes back to Immanuel Kant, needs to be nailed onto the starry sky above us. The nations know it. But the ruling classes do not understand it even if it comes to the more educate ones: Quousque tandem
gravenimage says
Chrissie, your claim that the attack on 9/11 did not violate our rights is very odd–but at this point scarcely surprises.
Chrissie01 says
of course it violated the rights of the United States. Of course it was a crime. Nowhere did I say that it wasn’t
But that does not logically imply the reactions that followed.
The US was not attacked by another nation that tried to invade it. The US was attacked by the criminal organization of a former ally, that was dropped.
How many countries did the US invade since 1890?
All for good reasons, I assume, like – for example the 80 000 German patents and inventions that simply disappeared mysteriously to the US, scientists icluded.
here some help for all the noble causes:
Syria
Iraq
Niger
Somalia
Macedonia
Afghanistan
Yemen
Sudan
Bosnia
Albania
Libya
Honduras
Grenada
..just to name a few…
That is not the approach of a civilized nation, these are the actions of primitive thieves.
Chrissie01 says
Why not seek a diplomatic resolve for once, including strict persecution and punishment of the culprits, instead of bringing misery to an entire country with millions of people crippled and killed that had nothng to do with 9/11.
It seems a great injustice.
CogitoErgoSum says
I thought the U.S. did try diplomacy at first by asking the Taliban to hand over Osama bin Laden and they told the U.S. to go pound sand. So the U.S. did … in Afghanistan. Well, at least everything has been set right now and the people of Afghanistan can go back to living the dream they were enjoying twenty years ago when there was no misery. Sure people were being executed back then but it was being done painlessly. At least now they have some new highways and helicopters and guns and other good stuff so that in the future they can keep people like Osama bin Laden from ever again using their country to spread Islam to the whole world …. which they are totally against … even if some goon in the Taliban says they aren’t. Furthermore, even if the word Taliban means “student” (of the Koran) I’ll bet none of them can even read the Koran …. the way I’m sure that Joe Biden has read it … and knows what it means. I mean come on, man. Yes, we were once primitive thieves but the Taliban have made us their students and have taught us what the word “civilized” really means. The world is a lot safer place now and the U.S. will NEVER invade another country again because …. well, we have finally realized it was a big mistake to think we were doing the right thing by landing troops at Normandy in 1944 and feeling we had the right to do something like that. We have learned our lesson …. good and hard … from our teachers, the Taliban. Now it’s time to show the world just what good students we are …. and who better to lead us in our more focused and inner directed way of thinking than JOE BIDEN. He must have been sent by God .. or Allah …. or something.
Giacomo Latta says
What’s more important than getting the US out of Afghanistan? Getting Biden out of Afghanistan.
OLD GUY says
When you fight a war your enemy isn’t just the person in uniform if they even ware one, it is their entire country that you are fighting against. Unless you are willing to break the will of a countries citizens to fight, it’s almost impossible to WIN.
