Wait a minute. Haven’t they heard about “Islamophobia” in America, and about how Muslims have supposedly been victimized since 9/11? They need to start reading the American establishment media!
“Afghan family ravaged by U.S. drone strike mistake wants headstones for the dead — and possible new life in America,” by Sudarsan Raghavan, Washington Post, September 18, 2021 (thanks to Darcy):
…Without doubt, the Pentagon’s mea culpa Friday — that a series of miscalculations led to the wrongful targeting of Zamarai Ahmadi, an aid worker with a U.S.-based group — has lifted a heavy weight off the family.
“The Americans kept emphasizing they killed an ISIS-K terrorist,” said Emal, referring to the Islamic State’s Afghanistan branch. “Now we are happy they have acknowledged their mistake and confirmed that they killed innocent people.”
What the family seeks now is to exit their American-made hell. Family members in interviews on Saturday expressed no visible animosity toward the U.S. government for killing their loved ones. But forgiveness may be too strong a word.
Rather, the Ahmadis grasp onto a sense of pragmatism. They want compensation from the U.S. government and help in leaving Afghanistan and getting resettled in the United States or another safe country, family members said.
“You can see the situation in Afghanistan is not good,” said Samim Ahmadi, 24, the step son of Zamarai. “Whether in America or another country, we want peace and comfort for our remaining years. Everyone makes mistakes. The Americans cannot bring back our loved ones, but they can take us out of here.”…

They want to come to America. It seems to be only for one of two reasons , not both.
It’s either to escape the Taliban tyranny , then live their own lives on freedom or it’s to take revenge against the USA because of that drone strike.
I’m not ,at all, sure which of the two reasons is their true intention ?

Walter,
We’ll know the answers soon after Biden’s handlers let them into the United States.
John says
They know from Afghans who are already here they will get free public housing, food stamps, Medicaid and free transportation to doctors offices and the mosque on Fridays.
john smith says
Correct Walter it’s one or the other, and a difficult one to answer.

Who gave the Americans the idea that these people were ISIS-K? I wouldn’t be surprised if it were the Taliban. Gen. Millie would not rule out working with the Taliban against ISIS-K in the future – so he probably is working with them already. And they could easily dupe the fools leading the U.S. military right now into doing some killing of anyone the Taliban dislikes under the pretense of them being ISIS-K. But on the other hand, are we really certain these people were NOT helping ISIS-K? Yes, dealing with Muslims is that dangerous.

Probably so.

Maybe what these people really want is to be part of the Muslim invasion of the non-Muslim western world, whether the country that they get the chance to invade is the USA or a European country or Australia or New Zealand. I believe that that is the agenda that Muslims have. It hasn’t altered in 1400 years though the methods may have changed somewhat. They claim to want “peace” (bullshit) and “comfort” (that means bludging on welfare in the infidel country). I hope they are left in their Muslim country where they all belong.
Bud says
Just a thought: ‘Ahmadi’ is given as their surname, but isn’t that a 19th century Indian sect of Islam that is persecuted by other Muslims as apostates? In Pakistan, they are officially not considered Muslims. In Scotland a few years ago an Ahmadi shopkeeper was murdered by another Muslim during the Christmas season because he wished Christians a ‘Merry Christmas’ on social media. If they are not of the Ahmadi sect, it seems it would be prudent not to have Ahmadi as their surname. They may have good reason to want to leave, and there may be a better chance that they would adapt, to a greater degree, to the norms of a host Western country.
CogitoErgoSum says
Yes, I was confused about that myself. If these people are Ahmadi Muslims it could very well be the Americans were duped into attacking them because most Muslims think the Ahmadi Muslims are heretics and it would be a great trick to play on the Americans to get them to kill some of the Ahmadis.
Bud says
That makes a lot of sense, CES.
I hadn’t thought it through that far, but that would be a perfect set-up to rid the Dar al-Islam of a few more of these ‘apostates’.
commonsense says
“Ahmadi” can be translated as “of or from Muhammed;” i.e. a follower of Muhammed, or in short, a Muslim. Ahmad is a variant of Muhammed, as are Ahmet (Turkish), Mahmoud (Parsi), Mehmet (again, Turkish), etc. “Muhammed” is also not just a name but an honorific, meaning “the praised one.” Its meaning as an honorific probably predates its use as a name.
That this Afghan’s surname is Ahmadi does not necessarily indicate that he is a member of the heretical Amadiyya/Ahmadi quasi-Muslim sect.
I hope my comment is helpful.

Spot on, commonsense.

They want compensation from the U.S. government and help in leaving Afghanistan and getting resettled in the United States or another safe country, family members said.
Another safe country It doesn’t have to be the US. Lots of neighboring countries where they can be relocated.
somehistory says
Well, if they can “take (us) out of here,” then they can also rescue and “take out of there” the remaining Americans and Christians who want, and need, to leave.
