My latest in PJ Media:
On Tuesday, Old Joe Biden’s callow national security advisor, Jake Sullivan, sat down with MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace, who asked him: “What is the Taliban? Are they now our frenemy, are they our adversary, are they our enemy? Are they our — what are they?” Sullivan refused to be pinned down, saying: “Well, it’s hard to put a label on it, in part because we have yet to see what they are going to be now that they’re in control — physical control of Afghanistan.” Sure. Sullivan couldn’t very well call the Taliban an enemy when he himself has strongly intimated that Biden’s handlers are about to start showering American taxpayer dollars upon them. The Taliban, however, clearly don’t see the U.S. as anything but an enemy.
A Taliban spokesman made that clear back in 2014, telling NBC News that Barack Obama’s trade of five Taliban commanders for deserter Bowe Bergdahl was the first time the “enemy,” that is, the United States, had “officially recognized our status.” Before that, in 2012, the leader of the Taliban at that time, Mullah Mohammad Omar, urged “every brave Afghan in the ranks of the foreign forces and their Afghan hirelings…to strike them.” He stated that “jihadist activities inside the circle of the state militias are the most effective stratagem. Its dimension will see further expansion, organization and efficiency. Increase your efforts to expand the area of infiltration in the ranks of the enemy.”
Both of those Taliban statements came after none other than Joe Biden himself sat down in December 2011 with Leslie H. Gelb of Newsweek/The Daily Beast “to do what he loves best–talk about foreign policy,” and declared: “Look, the Taliban per se is not our enemy. That’s critical. There is not a single statement that the president has ever made in any of our policy assertions that the Taliban is our enemy because it threatens U.S. interests. If, in fact, the Taliban is able to collapse the existing government, which is cooperating with us in keeping the bad guys from being able to do damage to us, then that becomes a problem for us. So there’s a dual track here: One, continue to keep the pressure on al Qaeda and continue to diminish them. Two, put the government in a position where they can be strong enough that they can negotiate with and not be overthrown by the Taliban. And at the same time try to get the Taliban to move in the direction to see to it that they, through reconciliation, commit not to be engaged with al Qaeda or any other organization that they would harbor to do damage to us and our allies.”
None of that was accomplished, of course, and now Biden’s handlers are poised to start the gravy train for the Taliban. When George Stephanopoulos asked Sullivan about the possibility of giving aid to the Taliban, the crack national security expert was no more forthcoming than he was when he was asked if the Taliban was the enemy, but he made it clear that the Biden administration is strongly considering giving aid to the Taliban, as long as the jihadis agree to a fig leaf of adherence to various “commitments.”
There is more. Read the rest here.

This type of a similar an earlier jihadwatch article is ,indeed, necessary information contained in it might be forgotten .
Likewise a reiteration of this comment appropriate . So here is is….
By Jake Sullivan refusing to speak the truth and call the Taliban “an enemy of the US” not is he not acknowledging reality but this shows that he’s working for that awful and lying Joe Biden.
For Biden doesn’t want to admit the truth and likewise he doesn’t want his staff speaking the truth which is that Biden “gave away ” to the enemy , the Taliban Afghanistan and he also abandoned many Americans to the Taliban in Afghanistan along with many good faithful Afghans who now now to be brutally murdered by the cruel vicious vengeful Taliban.
In addition , by Biden not allowing Sullivan to name the Taliban as the enemy of America and Americans, which they most certainly are , Biden is also denying that he “handed” the enemy much US military equipment ,as Blackhawk helicopters , Humvees trucks and much other US warfare armaments. .

There should be a new title for Biden. An appropriate and fitting title for him is “Joe Biden the treasonous.”

Where to begin ? “Coward-in-Chief” ? “Kleptomaniac-in-Chief” ? “Killer-in-Chief” ?
Maybe “Collaborator-in-Chief” fits him best.

Joe Biden is an afford and an abomination to the Office of the United States Presidency and against the United States herself as well as a horrendous atrocity and disgrace to American values.

Fuller context,
But once war is forced upon us, there is no other alternative than to apply every available means to bring it to a swift end.
War’s very object is victory, not prolonged indecision.
In war there is no substitute for victory.
There are some who, for varying reasons, would appease Red China. They are blind to history’s clear lesson, for history teaches with unmistakable emphasis that appeasement but begets new and bloodier war. It points to no single instance where this end has justified that means, where appeasement has led to more than a sham peace. Like blackmail, it lays the basis for new and successively greater demands until, as in blackmail, violence becomes the only other alternative.
“Why,” my soldiers asked of me, “surrender military advantages to an enemy in the field?” I could not answer.
Clifford Fodor says
Biden wasn’t appeasing Red China. He was bought by Red China.

Biden’s National Security Advisor Refuses to Call the Taliban an Enemy of the U.S.
………………
Moron. As though anyone who is not our enemy holds our nationals hostage and murders them, as the Taliban has done.
And the use of the term “frenemy”–is Jake Sullivan an overwrought teenage girl talking about shifting alliances of her school pals?
Good lord. And I don’t much judge people on their looks, but has anyone seen a weaker-looking security advisor? Just pathetic.
Terry Gain says

As a result of its moronic withdrawal plan the Biden administration is now completely dependent upon the goodwill of the Taliban to accomplish the withdrawal of the Americans who are still in Afghanistan.
There is nothing to be gained now by telling the truth about the Taliban. In fact it would be moronic and counterproductive to do so. The truth will have to wait until the remaining Americans are safely out of Afghanistan.
Of course there will be no truth coming from a LYING POTUS who announced his candidacy for the presidency while telling the Democrat Media’s Charlottesville LIE while claiming that he was running to restore decency to the White House.
gravenimage says
I take your point, Terry–although I doubt that the Taliban are likely to act like civilized human beings no matter the appeasement. Hasn’t worked yet.
But I haven’t seen Biden tell the truth about the Taliban, and I doubt that he is apt to start any time soon, no matter the situation on the ground in Afghanistan.
Infidel says
In the meantime, Taliban has made another mockery of the US by appointing a member of the Haqqani network its Interior minister. Days after the US claimed that the Taliban and the Haqqani Network were 2 separate entities
https://www.opindia.com/2021/09/taliban-appoints-sirajuddin-haqqani-the-interior-minister-of-afghanistan-new-all-ministers-government/
As the article notes, Haqqani is thought to stay in North Waziristan – just like Osama was thought to stay there. But as we know from 2011, when the Pakis had no compunctions about giving Osama refuge in Abbottabad, which is to Islamabad like Arlington is to Washington, why do our moronic ‘intel’ chiefs think that people like Haqqani would have to hide in places like Waziristan?
Wellington says
Wouldn’t surprise me, Infidel, if Circle-Back Psaki or Sullivan or Blinken or some other fool in the Biden Administration is called on this, such a Bidenista will insist that they are still two separate entities although they’re now in “communication” with one another though still separate.
I mean if you can call America’s withdrawal from Afghanistan “an extraordinary success,” as Biden himself did, then no Orwellian twisting of the truth should come as a surprise. No lie is too big in Bidenworld.

If the slaughter of dozens of men does not constitute terrorism, I would like Sullivan to explain the link below. The video comes with a warning about being graphic and it is not an exaggeration. I could only watch but a few seconds.

Thanks for the important link, Ray.
That being said, couldn’t watch more than a brief snippet.

Why would anyone with half a brain want to bring these savages to America or any other western modern country. Islam stands for murder, rape and slavery, don’t you think it’s time to put a stop to this. Oh I forgot we can’t they have OIL and rare earth minerals that one world corporations want at all cost. It’s always about the MONEY.

The US never got much in the way of rare earths out of Afghanistan–and I don’t see that happening now.

I’ve only been collecting almost every article about the taliban and their murders for MANY years now. Along with other muslim extremist groups. These go in bookmarks, and then in folders on a USB.
I just don’t know if they’ve killed more people in Afghanistan or in India. Some of the murders in India are extremely horrible and sick, on children there. I really can’t understand how India still allows them all to live there.
All these leaders of all the many countries where these muslim extremists live and murder, never put two and two together. How they all became leaders is beyond me! What I wouldn’t do, to force them to look at what their causing!!
Right now, I know the reason, that they close their eyes and minds to thousands coming across their borders. Satan needs all his people in all these NON muslim countries. Why? Rev 20:4 says it all. He sacrificed His life for us, we can show Him that we can do the same.
So, how many reading this, can answer the question of who hates Christians, Jews, and others, as much as, if not more than, Satan himself? He’s spreading his “people” out, all over, for the coming soon Tribulation, where he will claim to be “god”,and use these same “people” to exterminate God’s people. It’s the only logical reason, of why their immigrating to so many countries, of which they hate. Otherwise, why aren’t they immigrating to many other countries, where their own kind live, AND are closer? Why travel so far away from their homes? Is it for money, for homes, for jobs, etc? Why couldn’t they get those same things, in OTHER countries, where their own kind live, worship the same, talk the same, dress the same, etc?? Rev 20:4….read it!
