Of Mecca. Islamic tradition divides the Qur’an into chapters from Mecca and chapters from Medina. The Meccan suras are supposed to be more tolerant and peaceful than the Medinan ones. Yet this chappie specifically invoked “the Qur’an of Mecca” as he was threatening to kill Zemmour. Does he know something that our Western non-Muslim imams such as Pope Francis and Joe Biden don’t?
“Eric Zemmour threatened with death in the street in Paris,” translated from “Éric Zemmour menacé de mort en pleine rue à Paris, enquête ouverte,” Le Figaro, September 27, 2021 (thanks to Medforth):
“By the Qur’an of Mecca, I will smoke you out,” said a passer-by to the polemicist. The latter’s security officer intervened.
Eric Zemmour was once again the subject of assault. This Monday, September 27, in the early afternoon, the journalist was targeted on the boulevard de Clichy, in the eighteenth arrondissement of Paris, said the entourage of Eric Zemmour to Le Figaro, confirming information from Europe 1.
He was recognized by a man who started to insult him, yelling at him “by the Koran of Mecca, I will smoke you out.” The police officer of the SDLP [protection service, editor’s note] then intervened, but the individual “got excited,” shouting in particular “f**king racist s**t,” we are told.
Eric Zemmour and the police officer then headed for the journalist’s vehicle in order to get to safety. Once the two men were inside the car, they started the car and the individual “banged on the hood of the car.”
On Twitter, Eric Zemmour deplored this aggression, “the daily life of so many French people,” according to him. The deputy for the Alpes-Maritimes department and candidate in the right-wing primaries, Éric Ciotti, also reacted on the social network, assuring Eric Zemmour of his “support”. “No personality involved in political life should be threatened because of their opinions,” he added.
The polemicist had already been the victim of an assault on April 30, 2020 in Paris: while returning in the rain loaded with shopping bags, an individual had approached him in the street and spat on him.

If he were to be elected president, Eric Zemmour would be the salvation of France. There is no one better.

Long life to him, then. He will need to live with body guards 24/7.

Separation is the answer. Or else there will be no peace in France. On the contrary, it will get more violent each passing day till France capitulates.
Ditto Europe.

Separation? DP111, if you mean deportation and an end to further Muslim immigration, I very much agree. If you mean ceding parts of France to Islam, not so much…

It is way past time for writers and cartoonists who criticize Islam to take a ‘nom de plume’, or simply publish anonymously. I am puzzled as to why this has not become the norm.
Currently, such admirable writers simply stick their chin out and offer it to the nearest Muslim fist! Why?
mortimer says
Reply to B: If you criticize Islam openly, you must have an independent income, live in a gated community and restrict your social life. Those writers who denounce the counter-jihad, however, are well-funded by governments. This is backwards.
It is the free governments that should be funding the counter-jihad in order to make the world safer. A doubting Muslims can no longer endorse jihadism. We need to make all Muslims doubting Muslims in order to create a safer world. Islam is death cult that preaches lethal warfare against disbelievers.
Western governments and their intelligence agencies should be creating counter-jihad literature and films to deprogram Muslims right out of Islam.
Fitna says
Mortimer you are right. Firstly I think it’s risky for anyone to speak out publicly against Islam unless you are well armed or have your own security detail like Geert Wilders for example.
When I was younger and more naive, soon after 9/11, I studied Islam and its history Then I educated as many others as I could on chat forums. Very soon I attracted the attention of a group of Muslims who started to make regular death threats and tried to find out my real identity and where I lived.
I have family friends who are police officers so I wasn’t too worried since I knew I could always play that card if I really had to, but that was the first time it dawned on me that we really are at war with these rotten lowlives.
Ever since then I’ve remained anonymous online but became even more aggressive at speaking out against Islam and Muslims. I’ve also shared the msg with family and friends that I knew I could trust.
We have a powerful weapon that past human generations never had, spreading the word at the speed of light. More than just words we have video and other forms of evidence that quickly exposes Islam’s true agenda, esp. the hate and threats of warfare, violence spewing from Muslims own mouths.
However the key is for the knowledge to trickle upwards to our leaders and outwards to the masses. You can’t fight an enemy if you don’t know their threat doctrine or that they are at war with you. Once the vast majority of the public are truly awake then we’ll easily crush our foes.
There are some signs now in some places like France for instance that we’re breaking through that wall of lies and political correctness and the truth is getting out there.
What bothers me is why nobody (like the media) ever asks “why is it wrong to oppose Islam, without being called a racist?” Was it wrong to be against Nazism and other forms of fascism? Were they called “Anti-Nazi bigots?” This false taboo needs to be questions and destroyed.
Regarding your wish to make Muslims into ‘doubters,’ it’s a hopeless cause. Those Muslims who are intelligent enough to realize Islam is evil will leave on their own. But the vast majority of them will never convert willingly, so they will need to be expelled from western nations.
Just think of those so-called “de-radicalization programs” we all know how ‘well’ that worked out. If we can save some innocent, peaceful muslims, I’m fine with that, but that’s a minor concern. The real goal is to end Islam in western nations (preferably globally) and defeat those Muslims who are hell-bent on conquering us.
gravenimage says
Buraq, it is true that I use a nom de plume here myself–but in the free west we *should not have to*. It is only because Muslims have been allowed to flood in that this is necessary.
And it means you cannot speak in public, as a rule, if you are incogneto. Cartoonist Lars Vilks gave talks in a Burqa as a wry comment and a way to keep safer–but it was awkward and he only did it a few times.
And Fitna, so sorry this happened to you–but it does not surprise. Scary.

The terrorist who accosted Eric Zemmour on the street said, “By the Koran of Mecca”.
He should have said “By the Koran of Medina”, since it is the later part of the Koran which abrogates the ‘peaceful verses’ of the earlier ‘Koran of Mecca’.
Either the terrorist was confused or he doesn’t know very much about Islam. This mistake is a very critical error, but it shows the terrorist had some idea that there were TWO PARTS to the Koran.
We do not know what was in his mind.
My suggestion is that he was giving Eric Zemmour a “warning” to repent and accept Islam before the terrorist carries out a jihad against Zemmour.
Before a jihad begins, Muslims are canonically required to make a ‘call to Islam’ and then ‘fight’ (q-t-l = fight to the death) the infidel-kafir.
gravenimage says
Mortimer, I doubt that this thug was referring to the Meccan rather than Medinan verses of the Qur’an–he was just affirming that the Qur’an is very Islamic.
mortimer says
A French philosophy teacher did some excellent research to expose the violent ideology of jihadism, only to receive multiple death threats. His school retired him and he has lived under police protection ever since.
How much many more threats and bombings and shootings and truck-rammings to the French need before they realize this ideology is the source of the problem?
The French are equipped to fight and destroy Islam ideologically, but they do not have the will and financial support of their government. That is what it will take. Our jihadist enemy is GOVERNMENT-FUNDED. Western counter-jihadists who are fighting jihadism are not funded.
Let the sink in, all you people working in Western governments!
Jedothek says
We need to be cautious here. What does “I will smoke you out” mean in this case? Everyone seems sure that it refers to murder. ( I know the expression only as referring to drugs.)
Compare: you recall that in 1956 Nikita Khrushchev addressed to the West a Russian sentence that was translated almost literally as “we will bury you.” It turns out that he almost certainly meant: we shall outlive you.
gravenimage says
Jedothek, I’m sorry but this is just silly. “Smoke you out” is not a drug referrence–it refers to using smoke to drive a person or animal out of hiding so that they can be killed. (It can also be used to imply exposure like whistle-blowing, but that obviously is not the sense here).
This is a threat to catch Zemmour without his security detail and murder him.

This guy is a celebrity. He has guards, paid with tax money.
Common taxpayers are not guarded and suffer too under supremacist fascist sharia Islam, imported by the mass in Europe.
If common taxpayers complain to our EU rulers, these rulers tell those commoners that they are right wing fascists that had it coming.

People who speak out against this evil ideology Islam are very brave. We all know that the murderous, barbaric Muslim scum will come after people and try to to kill them. I applaud Zemmour for speaking out against islam. It always seems to come at a great cost, in terms of being able to live any kind of a normal life without the need to have security all the time. I notice the usual bullshit from the Muslim who threatens Zemmour about how Zemmour is a “racist”. Such garbage. Hating or criticising stinking Islam has nothing at all to do with race. Hating an evil ideology like Islam is the right attitude to have, whereas racism, a totally different thing, is not.
Fred van de Bunt says
You are right Tim. Islam followers are no members of some denigrated race. They are also not all of them bank robbers, child molesters, drunk drivers, and so on. Anybody who thinks that all Islam followers are like that seems quite wrong.
I would like to add that most Islam followers are no head choppers, women rapists, homosexual killers and Christian, Buddhist, Hundi and Atheist exterminators. Quite true indeed Tim.
It is sort of like the 30.000 Nazi Holocaust camp exterminators that were responsible for exterminating 6 million Jews and 5 million others.
How for God’s sake would anybody dare to say that the other millions of Nazi’s were responsible for this: I mean all the other Nazi’s being really very good law abiding Nazi’s?
tim gallagher says
Yes, Fred, I, like many other commenters here at Jihad Watch and elsewhere, am puzzled by this inability of many people to see that criticising Islam, an ideology, has absolutely nothing to do with a race or with being a racist. It seems so obvious to me. But, these days, I find that calling someone a racist is almost meaningless because it seems to be a term that people throw at anyone whose views they disagree with. I suppose the aim is to make them feel ashamed, since being called a racist is so terrible, and shut them up in that way. I cannot find anything good in islam, from what I know about it, but I have met quite a few Muslims who do seem to be OK people. I would have to say that I have never known any of them all that well though.
Giacomo Latta says
How many people given the amount of power that Hitler had at his apogee would have used it to settle personal affairs to their advantage or to assuage personal hate of some group? I dare say it would be substantial, 25% at least. Even the weakest of muslims in the West when given the opportunity and when sufficiently ”provoked” by those availing themselves of their democratic and human rights turn from being ”innocent” muslims with no membership in ISIS, Al-Qaida or the like, into being a soldier of Allah. None of them are to be trusted.
tim gallagher says
I agree with what you say, Giacomo. Personally, I never do trust Muslims. I always think that, even if they seem OK, one day they could very likely become more devout Muslims and turn into very nasty and downright dangerous people, full of hatred for all of us non-Muslims.
gravenimage says
Often true, Giocomo.
And even among Muslims who are not specifically looking for Muslim supremacy and the imposition of Shari’ah, how many would actually fight with the Infidels against their vicious coreligionists to stop it? Very few.
