“We fought France, we attacked France, we targeted the civilian population. It was nothing personal against them. I know my statement may be shocking, but it is not to dig the knife deeper in the wound but to be sincere towards those who are suffering immeasurable grief.”
This reasoning is likely based on the command for revenge in Qur’an 5:45: “And we prescribed for them in it, Life for life, and eye for eye, and nose for nose, and ear for ear, and tooth for tooth, and retaliation for injuries. But whoever forgoes it, this will be expiation for him. Whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, such people are wrongdoers.”
“Deaths Of 130 People Is ‘Nothing Personal,’ Says Top Suspect In 2015 Paris Terrorist Attacks,” by Varun Hukeri, Daily Caller, September 15, 2021 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
A top suspect in the November 2015 Paris terrorist attacks said during a courtroom trial Wednesday that the deaths of 130 people who were killed in the attacks were “nothing personal.”
Salah Abdeslam was one of 14 defendants to speak at the Wednesday trial, The Associated Press reported. He is the only survivor of the terrorist cell that carried out the attacks, and fled the city after abandoning his rental car and suicide vest, prosecutors said. The two people who helped him travel to Paris from Brussels are also among the 20 men on trial for the attacks.
Nine gunmen and suicide bombers associated with the Islamic State network struck at several locations around Paris on Nov. 13, 2015. The attacks included suicide bombings outside the Stade de France soccer stadium and a mass shooting at the Bataclan concert hall….
Abdeslam said the attacks were revenge for French airstrikes against militants in Syria and Iraq, according to The AP.
“We fought France, we attacked France, we targeted the civilian population. It was nothing personal against them,” he said. “I know my statement may be shocking, but it is not to dig the knife deeper in the wound but to be sincere towards those who are suffering immeasurable grief.”
The same Islamic State network carried out bombings at the Brussels airport and Maalbeek metro station during a series of terrorist attacks in March 2016 that killed 32 people….

It’s probably not personal to him because he doesn’t view “Infidels” as human beings. They are all just vile creatures to him.

In Islamic law to this day, CES, and as taught by every major Islamic school of theology, Sunni or Shiite, non-Muslims are the equivalent of human waste.
When a religion teaches, excuse the expression though I think it apropos, such shit as Islam does, it not only deserves no respect, it needs to be opposed completely, utterly.
I know you already know all this but my total contempt for Islam compelled me to write what I did so that any reading this thread and who don’t yet fully comprehend how awful Islam truly is will begin to realize how awful Islam truly is.
CogitoErgoSum says
Wellington, thanks for elaborating on this. I wish people would take the time to actually read the Koran and to read it with the Suras arranged in chronological order and then learn how abrogation works. Then they would comprehend a little better. It takes a lot of work to really understand what is being said in the Koran. I’ll admit I’m getting a little tired of explaining it to people and so have started hoping that if someone doubts what I say here they will do some research on their own to try to prove me wrong. But I am probably hoping for too much with that.

Wellington,
My thanks also, for your post.
How about if we had made this announcement soon after 9/11/2001?
“People acting in the name of Islam attacked us. We fought against Islam. We did NOT attack the civilian population. We targeted one building. We merely leveled the Grand Mosque in Mecca. We also bombed the runways at the nearby airport to prevent people flying in for the hajj. Only property was destroyed. It was nothing personal.”

We know already that France and the EU have been emasculated until capital punishment is off the table and not to be feared. For Jihadists it’s a two-fer or more – kill unbelievers now and again when getting out of prison after serving half a sentence. The jihadists are quite aware of how justice doesn’t work.
It’s pathetic. When Europe had the fortitude to make decisions to protect the populace, it would have been, “Sorry we have to hang you murdering fellows, it’s nothing personal, we just can’t have this behavior continue. Would all 20 of you like to be hanged at the same time, or, separately?”
gravenimage says
Yes–that these Jihadists are often being released back into the civilian population is just horrifying.
David says
It is not personal to him because he did not know any of his victims. Not that that would have made any difference to him, of course. It is his justification for his appalling acts of cruelty. Would he like someone to slaughter members of his own family, in the same way? Possibly, if they became apostates.
islam has the millstone of the koran and sharia permanently round its neck.

How many muslims did Obama & obiden transfer to the U.S. ? Are citizens waking up yet ? ?
Johnny B says
If you explain how terrorism is mandated by the Quran you will more often than not be censored by different social media platforms. Not because it’s wrong or untrue but because it’s apparently offensive to Muslims? I suggest it should be nothing less than criminal to suggest terrorism has nothing to do with Islam. That is a blatant lie that has already caused hundreds of thousands if not millions of deaths already.

yea exactly!! nothing personal just against the whole nation as it is… exactly where jihad is applied in general in the west… against the people of each country as a whole and against whole nations… ofcourse there must have been some direction towards an american rock band playing in bataclan that night… or was it?? against the west in its whole is the jihad that has made european countries turn into muslim in no longer than ten years from now… some already…
Wellington says
“…nothing personal…”
I guess the sane portion of mankind (a diminishing percentage I hope not) can therefore conclude that if it were personal even more deaths and maiming would have occurred. So glad to know it was nothing personal. Aren’t we all better off for knowing this?
Islam is sick to its very soul. No other major religion is. Time is way overdue for mankind to realize this and take into account that humanity finally got a major faith which is evil through and through and yet it continues to hide behind its religious veil.
Oh yeah, time is way overdue. 1400 years of Islamic barbarism is enough, don’t you think? Though the Juan Coles, Joe Bidens, Pope Francises, Karen Armstrongs and John Espositos here in the West remain, for whatever indefensible reason or reasons, in apology mode for Islam, which is not just indicative of massive ignorance but dispositive of facility of tremendous harm to Western Civilization, which civilization pioneered freedom and other wonderful things like equality under the law, women’s rights, the greatest scientific and technological advances in history and even the capacity to apologize for past wrongdoings (now reaching a self-flagellation level which is both mindless and suicidal) such as no other civilization remotely has.
Yes, I hate Islam and I hate excuses for Islam. A la Luther at the Diet of Worms in 1521, here I stand; I can do no other.

“Nothing personal” my ass! Raping people with knives and cutting off their genitals and making them eat it is EXTREMELY personal! If it was just cold blooded murder you’d shoot them in the head and that’s it. In fact, I’d wager that doing exactly that would’ve caused a lot more victims (which should be their priority), but instead they choose the classic islamic barbarism route and reveled in their victims’ slow and painful suffering. If the French have any balls left they should bring out the breaking wheel and make a public execution just for this one guy and say “nothing personal” before brutally breaking him to death — it would be the same logic as he uses.
tim gallagher says
Oh, well, if it’s “nothing personal”, then that’s OK then. If it was nothing personal, then all the innocent people who are no longer alive to enjoy their lives, and their friends and members of their families shouldn’t be bothered or pissed off about what this subhuman Muslim maggot did. This scumbag and his mentality is typical of the totally inhuman vermin that islam produces off its production line in huge numbers. In my very personal opinion, islam is the vilest, most evil religious ideology that is still around fouling up the modern world and it needs to become as extinct as that other vile religious ideology, the completely unmourned Aztec religion, has become. Also, on what this maggot had to say, I guess that, for anything to be personal, you have to be a human being with actual human feelings, so this inhuman monster probably is incapable of anything that we would recognise as personal feelings at all.
JamesC. says
“The Islamic State terrorists who attacked the Bataclan theater in Paris last November not only killed scores of innocents — they also gouged out the eyes and sliced up the genitals of some of the victims, according to testimony in a disturbing French report.
Some victims’ bodies from the second floor of the theater had been beheaded, eviscerated and otherwise mutilated, according to two secondhand accounts reported to a parliamentary commission set up to investigate the attack.
The investigation’s chair, conservative lawmaker Georges Fenech, complained to the commission that details of the mutilations have been kept from families and the press, according to an online transcript.
He also said he had heard of one especially grievous account: The father of one victim had told him that his son had been disemboweled and castrated, with his testicles found in his mouth.
“They had cut off his testicles,” Fenech said during testimony.
French law-enforcement officials who also testified for investigators insisted, meanwhile, that there was no evidence that victim injuries were caused by anything other than gunfire and shrapnel.
One official, Michel Cadot, the prefect of police in Paris, stressed that no knives were recovered from the scene.
“Some of the bodies found at the Bataclan were extremely mutilated by the explosions and weapons, to the point that it was sometimes difficult to reconstruct the dismembered bodies,” said investigator Christian Saint.
But Fenech stood by his account. “Someone put his testicles in his mouth,” he said.
The torture allegations surfaced in March during some 200 hours of testimony before an investigative committee of the French National Assembly.
The investigation found a lack of coordination among European intelligence agencies, which failed to prevent coordinated attacks that left 130 dead at six locations in and near Paris.
“The bodies have not been shown to the families because they are people who are decapitated, people who are bloated and people who have been disemboweled,” one police witness told officials, according to the transcript.
When Fenech asked if the mutilations would have been videotaped by the terrorists, the witness answered, “It seems to me.”
“There are people decapitated, swollen and disemboweled. There are signs of sexual acts committed against women and knife cuts to genitals. If I am not mistaken, some of the eyes of certain people have been removed,” the witness said.
The witness was later asked by Fenech how he had come to learn of the acts of barbarism. He answered that he himself had only witnessed bodies struck by bullets, on the ground floor.
But he learned the gruesome details from another investigator, whom he found vomiting and crying after seeing the carnage upstairs, he told investigators.
“After the assault, we were with our colleagues at the Saint-Pierre-Amelot corridor when I saw an investigator leaving in tears, who was just about to throw up,” the police witness said.””

That is the complete article. Abdeslam’s words deserve some context, so there it is. That is what he is being tried for.
“No personal feelings”, eh ? If that is how these jihadis treat those they murdered when they are not actuated by “personal feelings” against those they tortured & murdered – what would they have done to them if they had been motivated by hatred for those they tortured and murdered ?
Abdeslam takes the jury, judge and court for idiots who have the attention-span of a guppy. And he is probably correct. It would be a miracle if he got the sentence he deserves.

For jihadists like Salah Abdeslam, France is the home of the FRANKS … another name for ‘CRUSADERS’ among Muslims. Attacking the FRANKS in their homeland is thus a ‘good thing’ for Muslims to do.
Salah Abdeslam expects his acts of jihad will be praised and rewarded by Allah. He has no regret. Nothing personal. He hates ALL kafirs, but especially the FRANKS.
Salah Abdeslam is paying the FRANKS back for the Crusades … justifiable in his mind.

We realize it’s nothing personal, because it’s in their holy Quran and Hadiths. The only way we as non-Muslims can protect ourselves is basically to outlaw Islam. In my own country – and I’m pretty sure it’s the same in other EU-countries – organizations that endorse violence are illegal. It’s as simple as that, so why don’t our politicians do anything about it?

These Islamists sacralize and justifie violence in every way possible.
Take a look for yourself https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qS7Wgj6CfWQ.
Domestic violence, among other things, can be subject to criminal sanctions in France and probably in all Western countries.
Radical Islam is incompatible with our Western values whatever a “well-meaning” politician may think.
Johnny B says
I think the core of the problem is the idea, that Islam can be divided into a “radical” and a “moderate” version; it’s still the same scriptures they follow. It’s the same pattern over and over again, some “radical” Muslims commit terrible acts of violence and murders and immediately they put the so called “moderate” Muslims in front of you. That will make most people keep their heads down and almost feel ashamed if they condemn Islam, because – as we all know by now – “not all Muslims are terrorists!!!” It’s a very deliberate strategy in my opinion and we cannot allow it to continue. Muslims need to condemn terrorism with ALL their imams in the front putting out fatwas and so on against it. Otherwise we can never trust them. Who will disagree?
Lavéritétriomphera says
@Johnny B,
Bonsoir
“Not all Muslims are terrorists !!!”
This goes without saying but it seems that Western peoples, with a Christian tradition, haven’t the same concept of radicalism as the Muslims have.
Therefore I am not sure that moderate Islam in the western sens of the term, truly exists unless pious Muslims prove otherwise.
I give them the floor in order to defuse that slavery is recognized by Islam https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82qVRr3vZ1U.

As far I am concern slavery is a basic component of the totalitarian systems.
