My latest at PJ Media:
On Sunday evening, Old Joe Biden’s presidential Twitter account gave us this: “I give you my word as a Biden: If you make under $400,000 a year, I’ll never raise your taxes one cent. But, I’m going to make those at the top start to pay their share in taxes. It’s only fair.” Whoever tweets for Old Joe has mastered some of his favorite phrases, as he has made many pledges while giving his “word as a Biden.” Given Biden’s decades-long history of lying, which Matt Margolis ably documents here, now that Joe has given us his “word as a Biden” that those of us who make less than $400,000 won’t be paying higher taxes, we better be ready to pony up considerably more to the IRS than we have had to for the last few years.
President Dementia repeatedly presents his “word as a Biden” as if the Bidens were famous for their honesty and integrity, when it would be hard to imagine something farther from the truth than that. Biden has quite a track record: When he gives his “word as Biden” that something is true, it’s usually false. One notorious example came on March 24, 2020, when Old Joe published on Facebook a graphic saying “No president can promise to prevent future outbreaks, but I can promise you this: when I’m president, we will be better prepared, respond better, and recover better. We’ll lead with science and listen to the experts. And I will always tell you the truth.” (Emphasis in the original.) He added: “I give you my word as a Biden.”
He will always tell us the truth? How can we even know for sure, when he more often than not walks away from the press corps without answering a single question?
And even the New York Times is growing skeptical regarding that “lead with science and listen to the experts” business: “As he announced on Friday that booster shots would be available to some Americans, President Biden made a prediction: His administration was likely to soon provide third doses of the vaccine ‘across the board’ to anyone who wanted one.” However, this was just “the latest example of how Mr. Biden and some of his team have been ahead of the nation’s top public health scientists, who have emphatically said in recent days that there is simply not enough evidence to suggest that boosters are necessary for the entire American population. In fact, two panels of scientists — one for the Food and Drug Administration and the other for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention — voted in recent days against recommending boosters for everyone after fierce public debates streamed online.”
There is more. Read the rest here.

OK, I have something to state about Joe Biden, and by one who has lived in America all his life and right next door to Joe Biden’s Delaware since I am a life-long resident of Pennsylvania. Born in PA and never a citizen of any other state than PA, the very state where the great experiment in mankind’s history which is the United States of America was begun (indeed, I myself was born in the once great city of Philadelphia, where the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, the Northwest Ordinance, the Constitution of 1787 itself and the Bill or Rights of 1791, among so many other great documents of the late 18th century in America, were adopted and finalized). But I digress.
Here is where I will not digress, to wit, Joe Biden has absolutely no redeeming qualities. Not one. He was always possessed of a mediocre intellect and now he is in possession of a mediocre intellect with dementia. He is stupid, uninformed, corrupt, a jerk, mean to those who disagree with him, very creepy many times over (especially with little girls), a liar (e.g., he did not have three majors in college at the University of Delaware nor did he graduate in the top half of his class at Syracuse University Law School—something like 75th out of 86), and someone who has never had a single original idea. In short, the man is a travesty.
This is what America has come to with an absolutely Nothing like Joe Biden as POTUS. Not lookin’ good to put it mildly—for America and all the world.
And this too: Anyone who actually voted for this Nothing (this would not count all the bogus votes for this decrepit man) should hang their head in shame for doing so. Most of these rubes won’t but all such rubes should do so. Enough.

Right now, they are looking at hiring 87,000 new IRS agents, and among new banking regulations, are looking at examining any transactions above $600: the previous trigger level was $10,000. They’re looking to become the most intrusive government, getting to know about every aspect of our lives, and also taxing every major transaction.
I just hope for a government shutdown that lasts until next November
Wellington says
Agreed, Infidel, and serving as just one more “legacy” of this abomination.
With exceptions made among non-Americans due to a dearth of information, no American of sense and knowledge, and possessed of moral intelligence too, can possibly stand up for this piece of excrement who is now POTUS.
Yes, “excrement” in a symbolic way, is not too outrageous a description of Joe Biden. Anyone doubting me just look at America’s southern border and our pathetic, craven and putrid exodus from Afghanistan as just two of so many examples of how horrible a man Joe Biden really is.
Biden is the disaster that just keeps giving and giving. I challenge anyone to prove me wrong in this assessment.

Imagine any person having to pay rent….of $600 or more a month, or anyone needing car repair, which can easily run that much and more, and this amount will include the poorest of the poor on social security.
They wish to round-up any who may buy groceries in bulk rather than a few every week…those who ‘prep’ to one degree or another…and because they are evil, they can think up ways to get to every person in some form, ways those of us with normal ways of thinking…no evil intent…could not even dream up if we tried.
It once was that they would have to get a warrant to look into bank accounts and to get a warrant, they needed probable cause to believe the account holder was committing crimes that could effect their money.
Now…law and order has been dispensed…unless one is an actual law-abiding person…and the heads of all of these are on the chopping block.

Hear, hear, Wellington. ‘A travesty’.

60% of Americans no longer believe anything this deceitful man says. His lengthy career of lying is without parallel in the history of US presidents. When Lyin’ Biden first ran for president his many LIES were the very reason the Dems rejected his candidacy. The then-honest media excoriated and mocked him for telling so many whoppers.
Now, today’s totally corrupt oligarch-minion media pass over his stream of falsehoods without blinking or blushing. They are under orders to cover … the Biden Protection Program. Those propaganda orders were recently exposed by James O’Keefe of Project Veritas who had listened in for months on Jeff Zucker’s daily propaganda instructions to the CNN minions posing as journalists.
These brazen pseudo-journalists are shameful conspirators in a cover-up of massive incompetence and mental disintegration.
The Bribed-man’s government committed the worst military debacle in US history handing over $85 billion of high-tech weapons to an international TERRORIST ORGANIZATION.
And the worst thing is that NO ONE HAS BEEN BLAMED AND FORCED TO RESIGN OVER IT.
The Afghanistan debacle is the WORST DEBACLE in US military history. NO ONE HAS BEEN CHARGED??? WHAT?

We will be facing high taxes and high inflation–and probably a migration of American capital to more hospitable climes.

Grab Your Checkbook: Lyin’ Joe Gives His ‘Word as a Biden’ Not to Raise Taxes for Those Making Less Than $400,000
……………….
Let’s just say this isn’t something I’d be taking bets on…
This is the biggest budget in US history–*by far*. And Democrats are excoriating Republicans for not wanting to raise the debt ceiling yet again to go on a spending spree–falsely claiming that they want the US to default on its debts.
No private citizen could act like this–and no sane person would want to..

The first thing any sane person does if they wind up in a financial hole is to curtail descretionary spending.

Joe Biden is an incompetent weak feeble-minded awful old man. Biden is a problem for America as well as the other Western nations that since he’s sitting in the Oval Office masquerading as a real US President.
With all that power and influence at his command, Biden is a very dangerous incompetent weak feeble-minded old man..
In addition that villain Biden deserves no respect, not even a little bit, none at all. Speaking just for myself, the only emotion that I have for Biden is a strong feeling of contempt.
Walter Sieruk says
President pretender Biden of the United States is just mindlessly just continuing in the same old terribly flawed fool economic policies of his former boss and chief, Obama.
President impostor Biden is not just a feeble -minded idiot. Worse .yet, he’s a dangerous feeble minded idiot.
Walter Sieruk says
Bogus president pretender Joe Biden is an abomination and an affront to the Office of the President of the United States of America and a disgrace to the US Constitution.
Likewise, Biden is a catastrophe and calamity for America, a disaster, and a tragedy for the American people.

Not long ago, in one of Basement Joe’s infrequent teleprompter readings that pass as addresses to the American public, he stated that the top ten corporations are worth $80 billion, and the treasury would be flush with loot if only these companies would pay more in taxes. I instantly realized that this is pure horse manure. Not that I need to convince anyone reading this that this is so, but for god’s sake – even if these ten corporations were taxed at 100%, or if their assets were seized, liquidated, and transferred to the U.S. Treasury, the proceeds ($80 billion) would barely make a dent in the proposed multi-trillion dollar budget, a trillion being a thousand billion. So liquidation of the ten largest corporate entities would provide only 8 per cent of the first trillion needed. If three trillion were needed, these corporate assets would total less than three per cent of this budget. Where would the remaining money come from? Probable answer: the Federal Reserve. Result: hyperinflation of epic proportions. The wheelbarrows used to carry worthless Deutschmarks (Weimar Germany, early 1920s) and early Soviet paper rubles (same period, when a newspaper cost 50,000 rubles: See We the Living, Ayn Rand’s first novel) would not be sufficiently commodious to carry the truckloads of U.S. dollars needed to make purchases, dollars rendered worthless by the insane plans of Biden’s handlers and their Congressional collaborators.

Spot on, commonsense. Not only is this “soak the rich” bs immoral, it also won’t stop this huge fiscal shortfall, not even in the short term.

If you raise taxes or you cause the cost of living to escalate upwards what’s the deference? It appears you still have less Money. The corporations and the wealthy will always pass the cost of a tax increase on in price hikes on goods and services..
