If this is true or even half-true, what will Sweden be like in ten years? Fifteen? Fifty?
“Former preacher: There is a Salafist in every Swedish mosque,” translated from “Avhoppade predikanten: Finns en salafist i varje svensk moské,” SVT, September 22, 2021:
For 20 years, Anas Khalifa was one of the most influential Salafist preachers in Sweden. Today, he calls Salafism, a fundamentalist form of Islam, a cancer – a worldview that is spreading rapidly among young people.
– They spread hatred against Christians and Jews, strong prejudices about other groups. The basic message is hatred, he says in SVT’s 30 minutes.
According to Anas Khalifa, Salafism is a viable movement with several popular preachers who affect many Muslims in Sweden, directly or indirectly.
– I would say that it affects the majority. I have no statistics on that, but I have lived in this sphere for a very long time. The most charismatic, charming, talented, but perhaps not the most knowledgeable – they are the Salafists, he says.
– They are everywhere online, they have hundreds of thousands of followers. I’m probably the only non-Salafist who has 60-70 thousand followers.
Attracts young people
Anas Khalifa says that his young, Swedish followers tagged radical preachers in his feeds on social media when he presented liberal ideas, such as tolerance and human rights.– These are ordinary young people who were born and raised in Sweden, he says.
According to Anas Khalifa, there are Salafists and their ideas in all the mosques in Sweden.
– I have traveled from Boden to Ystad, lectured in associations and mosques for several years, and I have always found someone who is a Salafist there.
According to him, these people negatively affect other visitors.
– Some people think it is an extreme headache to meet such people in the mosque. There is a lot of condemnation, a lot that this is wrong and this is right, that this is how you should live.
However, it is not only in the mosque that Salafists remind other Muslims of their presence.
– They walk around and are some kind of haram police, pointing fingers, says Anas Khalifa.
“Blood on my hands”
A large number of people have traveled to the Middle East from Sweden to join, among others, the terrorist group IS. Ana Khalifa claims to have been in contact with every single one as a preacher. He was for a long time an enabler for young people who wanted to travel down to fight. He wanted them to sacrifice their lives as martyrs.

It is hard to understand how and why Sweden decided to let itself become a center for Islamism. Why would they endanger their own people and society for the sake of people they do not know who mainly do not even like them. They must be masochistic
mortimer says
The Swedes are experiencing masochism and the radical Islam they imported into Sweden has the PAIN for which they long. They are receiving their affliction from sadists with 1400 years of experience. The sadism of Islamic occupation eventually leads the persecuted to join the cult and in turn become the sadistic afflicters and perpetrators of jihad.
Anas Khalifa is an expert at jihadism, but I don’t his assessment that the jihadists are an annoyance to others in Swedish mosques. There is likely a grudging respect for men who are ready to sacrifice their all for Allah. The more lax, less committed Muslims are more likely to be afraid of being investigated and shown guilty by association with jihadists.

With a large influx of Taliban who’s birthrate is five times higher than the swedes there is no guessing what Sweden will be like in twenty years.
As the Palestinians declared to the Jews in 1947-
“We will outbreed you and then we will vote you out.”
Will Germany ever admit to the strain on their economy the invasion has caused?
mortimer says
Worldwide, a fairly constant figure of about 15% of Muslims self-declare as supporters of an Islamic terror group. Also constant is the figure of about 15% who attend a mosque regularly. Are these two results related? In other words, does mosque attendance and does the resulting increased Islamic knowledge lead to the conclusion that CONDUCTING JIHAD is a PERSONAL DUTY for every Muslim?
It is further observed that Muslim criminals are often much more open about expressing their support for jihadism and even offer to say they are willing to participate in jihad. They even go so far as to see their criminal enterprises as a form of attack against the kafirs and thus a justified part of jihad.
Islam seems to be a suitable religion for those with a criminal, sociopathic outlook, but a deeper immersion into the religious culture of Islam appears to lead to a jihadic conviction.
mortimer says
Anas Khalifa should be training border control officers to recognize jihadists and then keep them from entering their countries. It takes one to know one.

Does this man know that the Salafists get their ideas from the Koran? And when they read the Koran they know how to arrange the Surahs in chronological order and then it becomes clear to them what they must do. And … what they must do according to Allah is what? How is it that he’s unable to figure that out and explain to everybody why they are wrong to understand the Koran this way. He just says they are wrong and does not explain why he thinks they are wrong. Why are they wrong?
Michael Copeland says
It may be a crafty pose for the interview. He does not, in fact, say the Salafists are wrong: he says they are a cancer. We can quote him on that. He talks of “Salafists and their ideas”. This cunningly nourishes the notion – without actually saying so – that these “ideas” are somehow wrong, that is, twisted, distorted, misunderstood, and so on: you know the list. He has been busy sending would-be martyrs to the conflict in Syria, so he is not as “moderate” as the author of the article would like him to be.

Scapegoating Salafi? It doesn’t have to a Salafi to hate Christians and Jews (and other non muslims). In my experience, a seem to be quite moderate muslim can still hate Christians, Jews, atheists, apostates etc because they have been raised and educated under Islamic teaching, even though they do not completely agree with every Salafi teaching.
Pointing a finger to Salafi basically is whitewashing Islam.
Michael Copeland says
Exactly. ALL muslims are instructed to hate the kafir: it is not a Salafi-only teaching.
This pose is a variant on the “It’s their interpretation” deflection (in reality a red herring).

re: Salafist preachers
”They spread hatred against Christians and Jews, strong prejudices about other groups.”
Whereas all those non-Salafist muslims preach love for their fellow man, love for Jews, equality for women and total rejection of all kinds of slavery? Not bloody likely.

Muslims & Islam spreads hatred of Anybody & Everything that is not Islamic.
