Nothing surprising here. What was done while Kevin Omar Mohamed was in prison to disabuse him of his jihadist sentiments? Nothing. Instead, they were reinforced, as he was given a Qur’an, the book that led him to pursue jihad terrorism in the first place, and likely allowed to meet, talk, and pray with other Muslims. To have done anything else would have been “Islamophobic.” So authorities shouldn’t be shocked when people behave in ways they have enabled them and aided them to behave.
“Toronto men caught with bomb-making manuals, al-Qaeda literature on phones, documents allege,” by Stewart Bell, Global News, September 24, 2021 (thanks to Henry):
Six months after Kevin Omar Mohamed‘s prison sentence for terrorism came to an end, the RCMP’s Toronto O-INSET national security team decided to check up on him.
What they found set off alarms.
Not only was he violating his probation by using a smartphone, he’d downloaded al-Qaeda literature, manuals on bombs and poisons, and a tract justifying the killing of women and children, according to allegations filed in court.
He was also seen meeting with Daniel Khoshnood, another former inmate who had a history of violence and whose phone contained more than 200 Taliban, ISIS and al-Qaeda videos, as well as bomb-making guides, according to the allegations.
Both were arrested as potential national security threats.
Little was disclosed at the time, but details of the police investigations into Mohamed and Khoshnood were recently released by the Ontario court following a request by Global News.
The two reports by the Ontario Integrated National Security Enforcement Team (O-INSET) provide the first look at why the alleged associates were arrested on the grounds they might commit terrorist offences.
Mohamed’s phone contained “a large amount of information that could be used to carry out a terrorist attack, including multiple bomb-making guides, and extremist ideological material”, the O-INSET reports alleged.
Similarly, a search of Khoshnood’s phone turned up many of the same how-to guides, they alleged.
O-INSET also wrote that Khoshnood seemed to align himself with the Taliban, using the terms “we” and “us” when he wrote about the militant group on YouTube.
“We will keep sending out suicide bombers,” he allegedly wrote. “Taliban is the true Islamic force.”
“We will die for our cause. We will never give up. People might not like us but we will force them to respect us. We are a force to be reckoned with. We are not scared of death and we are ready to take on the whole world. Islam will dominate the world which is on our prophecies.”
The documents show police devoted considerable resources to the investigations, but in the end, did not press any charges.
Instead, the results for both Mohamed, 28, and Khoshnood, 30, were terrorism peace bonds that saw them released but ordered to follow a list of conditions that include a ban on driving and wearing an ankle bracelet….

I will bet NOTHING was done with Kevin Omar Mohamed while he was in prison to convince him that the Koran is of human origin or that there is no historical, archeological or reasoned evidence for Mohammed, the Koran or the dry, little no-where place called Mecca in the 7th century.
In fact, Muslims begin to leave Islam as soon as they discover that there is no concrete basis for believing in foundational Islam. Islam’s foundational stories are a fabricated mess created by the Umayyad and Abbasid caliphs to support their dynasties and keep their minions under their thumb.
The caliphal dynasties wanted a divine mandate for conquering the Roman Empire, so they created one. Under the scrutiny of modern scholarship, the narratives of the Abbasids are falling one by one as the stories about foundational Islam are deconstructed and shown to be false and intentionally fabricated.

Mortimer, you have never explained how Jihadists can be convinced of the falsehood of Islam against their will. In fact, Muslims are taught not to pay attention to the ‘filthy Infidels’.

Kevin and other young terrorists like him should be required to read a number of books before their release and pass a test to show they have understood them. The book list should include ‘The History of Jihad’ and ‘Did Muhammad Exist?’ by Robert Spencer.
Kevin, you should read those 2 books for a start. Kevin, get out of Islam … it’s a fabricated Death Cult … a waste of your life.

This incident shows the mindset of these Muslims. God save peace-loving humans.

Nothing of consequence will happen to them. The social media giants allow all this stuff to be posted on the internet. It’s a public realm (for leftists, anyway). There are many reasons for a law-abiding person to utilize these information sources.
However, if the use of s smartphone is a probation violation, why wasn’t Mohamed charged with that? Why wasn’t the phone confiscated? Released on conditions of not driving a car? Another Muslim could drive it for him. Wearing an ankle bracelet? What for? Is he barred from the mosque? Just another feel-good action for law enforcement.

Nickoli Sennels years ago, a psychologist working with criminals in Copenhagen wrote that the mindset of muslim criminals and ordinary Danish criminals was very different. The Danish ones could be reformed and possibly released but the muslim ones couldn’t be changed (He lost his job). When will we learn??? Muslim kids are often brainwashed from birth and have no capacity to think critically or have any empathy for anyone else, they are fed text that tells them to kill, rape, enslave, steal, destroy until all is islam and they get their reward. They believe it and until some miracle occurs where some brain cells function, they are nothing but mindless muslims who kid themselves they are doing allah’s will and hence they take no responsibility for their actions.
