Any hope that the Taliban will honor the rights of women and girls, including their rights to any autonomy of movement, action or education, is naive.
The Taliban has already “guaranteed” women’s rights “within the limits of Islam.” Read about those “rights” HERE.
“Taliban won’t commit to allowing girls to return to high school in Afghanistan,” Reuters, October 12, 2021:
Afghanistan’s foreign minister appealed to the world for good relations on Monday but avoided making firm commitments on girls’ education despite international demands to allow all Afghan children to go back to school.
Almost two months after the former Western-backed government collapsed and insurgent forces swept into Kabul, the new Taliban administration has pushed to build relations with other countries to help stave off a catastrophic economic crisis.
“The international community need to start co-operating with us,” acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi said at an event organized by the Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies. “With this we will be able to stop insecurity and at the same time with this we will be able to engage positively with the world.”
But the Taliban have so far refused to give ground on allowing girls to return to high school, one of the key demands of the international community after a decision last month that schools above the sixth grade would only reopen for boys.

“They had a lot of financial resources and they had a strong international backing and support but at the same time you are asking us to do all the reforms in two months?” he said.
The new administration has come under sustained criticism for its approach to girls’ education, considered one of the limited number of unambiguously positive gains from the West’s two decades of involvement in Afghanistan….

Any commitment they make is totally meaningless, as taught and practiced for 1400 years. Nothing binds a muslim. No promise, no commitment, and certainly no hint of change or reform. Islam teaches a single “final, perfect, complete and unchangeable” way of life. That way of life is slavery for all who are allowed to live and death for any who attempt to reform, change or resist.
I honor Medical Doctor Wafa Sultan who wrote A God Who Hates, for her graphic and vivid description of the misery she witnessed under islam. I equally honor all former muslims who have found their way to liberty and who help us see what we refuse to see without help.
Any promise made regarding reform today is just as delusional as Mo’s promise to the Jews who put down their weapons and abandoned their fortified village to be slaughtered and enslaved. It sounds good; but will never happen. Don’t waste time accepting lies.

It is 2021 and yet there are still girls and women dressed like that. You couldn’t make stuff like this up. Islam has to be the most retrograde, primitive load of bullshit that is still fouling up this world. The mentality that thinks girls and women have to get around totally covered up like that is one extremely diseased mentality. Seeing this crap is like looking way, way back in time.
Frank Anderson says
T.G. to US, it is 2021 either AD or CE; but to muslims, subtract about 600 years and then forget about the remainder. To muslims, the goal is to keep all life and death as it was when Mo was “alive”. Anything else is change, reform or apostasy, punishable by death. They are PROHIBITED from caring about progress.
The sooner more present muslims grow tired of the abuse, the faster more will leave in spite of the death sentence for apostasy. Former muslims are a treasure and blessing to all free people. Like the boat people from Vietnam, several of whom live in my community presenting glowing examples for us, they bless us with their experience and knowledge of freedom.
The greater we can show the contrast between liberty and islamic slavery, the faster will be the exodus that could save the world from catastrophe. I have seen in person many times and many examples where liars are terrified of the truth.
tim gallagher says
Thanks for the comment, Frank. Yes, it does seem that the goal of Islam is to keep living the barbaric life people lived back in 7th century Arabia. So Muslims will use modern technology, but, in terms of human relationships, it is a backward, primitive way they want all of us to live, what with women made invisible in public, girls married off very young, and so on. I agree with what you say about the Vietnamese. There are quite a lot of them contributing well to our lifestyle in the city where I live in Australia. I agree about the ex-Muslims as well. It takes courage to escape from islam and the ex-Muslims often seem like great people to me.

T.G. I have no claim to being a “perfect gentleman”. Especially after 12 years in an all male military school, I can be harsh, brutal and really a rude person to deal with when the wrong situation is presented. My adopted father and mother were pretty good to and for each other; and my “spare” parents, my aunt and uncle, were downright saints setting examples I do my best, but imperfect effort of living today. My stepfather was okay at first. But 2 brutal tours in Vietnam (in 1 tour he flew 473 combat missions in 10 months, returning early because his mother died), where he served honorably turned him into a monster when he returned. I had to stop a fight. He quite correctly understood it was time to leave.
I found my birth mother on a 39 year old trail after the secret had been kept 38 years. She had lived in what to us would probably be horrible, abusive conditions for over 30 years in large part for the guilt of giving me to adoption. Her Lutheran community prevailed on her to accept that abuse and remain in misery. My telephone call gave her the strength and self image to claim her rights. She lived 20 years in freedom and respect leaving us over 10 years ago.
I think it should be obvious that I resent the abuse of anyone. I lament the death of Eva Braun, among all the many people who have suffered. Tyranny whether from psychological or religious issues is wrong and unacceptable. I have no reasonable doubt that we agree. Frank
tim gallagher says
From what you outline there, Frank, you have had a bloody hard life. You’ve done well to cope with it. I definitely agree with what you say about tyranny and this religious ideology, Islam, seems a vicious tyrant to me. In any Muslim country, non-Muslims are treated appallingly as third class citizens. In Islam, any women and girls are treated like crap. I can find no redeeming features in islam, so I’d love to see the barbaric load of crap, which definitely acts as the worst of tyrants, become extinct. It is going to be a hell of a long time before that eventuates though.

“The greater we can show the contrast between liberty and islamic slavery, the faster will be the exodus that could save the world from catastrophe.”
Of course, this effort that must be continued, however, I don’t think any amount of ‘showing or telling’ will alone result in an exodus. Consider all the Muslims already living in Western liberty-loving nations. Those Muslims are seeing, experiencing, and living liberty first-hand, yet they remain committed to Islam’s mission, methods, and global objective. They refuse to apostatize, even though they’re protected by our Western laws and fear no reprisal. I’ve read that in the US alone, only 20,000 Muslims apostatize annually, while 50,000 Kafirs freely convert into Islam.
Indeed, there appears to be no time in the last 1400 years where Kafir reason and logic were effective in inducing a Muslim mass exodus from Islam.
As the Spanish demonstrated across 711 years, the zero-sum Islamic conflict required force to reconcile: Force of law; Force of Deportation; and Force of death for Muslims who continued to resist.
Frank Anderson says
D.T., experience has shown your proposition has merit. It is hard to face the future without some hope, even false or delusional, of escape from what is likely to happen. I am sure, from hearing survivors speak that people hoped their way into gas chambers; that Nazis would reform and leave the party to become good and productive peaceful examples. A few did; but not enough, not fast enough to save Europe. And about 5000 died after the July 1944 attempt to reform.
The Great Dale Carnegie, collector and teacher of wisdom, taught “Cooperate with the inevitable.”
tim gallagher says
I agree with what you say there, Daniel. Unfortunately, I don’t see a hell of a lot of Muslims leaving barbaric islam. Instead they want to impose it on all of the people in western, non-Muslim countries and all other non-Muslim countries. I see a huge amount of violence coming up some day because of all the Muslims we have let into our countries. I wish we would slam the door shut on any more Muslims in order to avoid all the trouble they always bring. One day, our countries are going to wake up and are going to have to get really tough with the Muslim enemy that we have let into our countries and it will, unfortunately, be very violent.
Frank Anderson says
T.G., I think you are correct. From being an engineer, which is also an applied mathematician, in addition to being a lawyer, truck driver and bunch of others, I see several alternatives, as I did when I found my birth mother. I could go where she was. We could meet at a safe place. Or the meeting could wait until it was safe for her. She could not meet at the moment; but we did soon after and many times over the next 20 years.
Now, we can cut to the chase, and face what is most likely inevitable given the 1400 year “final, perfect, complete and unchangeable” declaration of war, conquest, slavery and death. Or we can try and hope to win enough converts OUT of islam to undermine its progress and prevent the catastrophe most likely to happen sooner or later. Or we can just do nothing. The wisdom of the statement “Evil will triumph when good does nothing” is too compelling to me that I could do nothing. So, that leaves 2 choices, prepare for war or try to stop it, even knowing the effort is almost certainly futile.
Think about the Germans who faced the same dilemma with Hitler. How could he have been stopped before starting WWII? They came close, but for Neville Chamberlain and Edouard Daladier submitting to Hitler, Mussolini and Goering at Munich over Czechoslovakia. There was a plot including generals to arrest and kill Hitler if the French and UK offered resistance. But they caved and Hitler continued. And well over 50 MILLION people died and Europe was laid waste as a result.

To explain the obvious. The reason that the Taliban won’t let girls to to school is to keep them ignorant, subservient to them and likewise growing up a staying terribly oppressed.
The reason that the Taliban have had despicable callous anti-female mindset is because the Taliban are Muslims who are totally dedicated to Islam and the terrible and harsh reality is that Islam is a religion of brutal, cruel, vicious, oppressive malicious misogyny.
Frank Anderson says
W.S., an organizational entity can be many “things” at the same time. What would it take for you to see islam as a criminal conspiracy IN ADDITION to being a “religion”? The two are not mutually exclusive.
A criminal conspiracy is 1) an agreement 2) of 2 or more persons 3) to act unlawfully or to use unlawful means for an otherwise lawful purpose 4) ANY overt act by ANY ONE of its members in furtherance of its goal. Please take a few minutes to search and read the court case from the Southern District of Alabama, United States v. Gary Greenough, 609 F.Supp 1090 (1985). It is available for free online simply by searching the full name.
Islam has been an agreement of well over a Billion (Milliard) people for the unlawful purposes of murder, looting, slavery and conquest for 1400 years.
Is there anything that prevents you from seeing that a criminal conspiracy is active and actively killing and enslaving people today? Help me understand, please?

This is very sad. Amanullah Khan (1892-1960) made Afghanistan a secular country, women were unveiled and were free, along with Iran and Turkey. He and his wife Soraya Tarzi believed that veiling for women was not in Islam. Something happened and all of these secular countries fell to the barbaric Islamists.
Where are we headed to?

T.G., the life I have lived contained many painful and expensive lessons. At least they were vivid and obvious enough to me that I try to learn from them and pass them on to others. My father by choice #3 in sequence but equal to all in rank loved to counter Nietzsche’s statement, “That which does not kill me makes me stronger” with “That which does not kill me merely grinds me down.”
During my great disaster, started when I refused to help steal 200 million dollars in 1982 present value, my adopted mother said she never expected that much out of me, that I was not her son but was adopted. My subsequently ex-wife then responded that I was nothing but a no-named Iowa bastard who could not get or keep a decent job. After that I was forced to dig ditches, feed cows, and sweep floors as part of a restart that took most of 10 years.
Thanks to many friends I learn and appreciate the good in life and take great pleasure in helping good people while teaching bad there are better ways. I have outlived most of those bad people and have every intention of continuing my quest. It could have been a lot worse.

How could we question the wisdom of a 7th century child-raping, mass murdering, caravan-robbing warlord, who God chose to be his mouthpiece on Earth?
So if this God says women must be illiterate, wrapped in bedsheets their whole lives, except when they’re to be bought and sold like sheep, then they must be naked, then raped at will by God’s followers.
Also to be a baby-factory to make more terrorists-who are we to question such a magnificent and divine plan? I’m sure TerryGains the muslim troll would approve since they’re just ‘civilians’ and their rights are protected under Islamic law.

Fitna, I don’t agree with Terry Gain about our having to change our definition of ‘religion” for Islam–but other than that, he is a solid Anti-Jihadist.
Fitna says
Graven, based on TerryG’s recent posts, he seems to be rather sympathetic to the Jihadists, first downplaying the fact that Muslims commit crime in Ottawa at the same rate as non-Muslims even though they’re a small percent of the population.
Then later taking issue with those of us who’d like to see Muslim terrorists executed for making death threats and carrying them out, that seems to belie your claim. I suspect he’s a Muslim troll pretending to be on our side. Either way his true views will be made more apparent over time.
gravenimage says
Fitna, it’s true that Terry Gain’s comments on the “Over 50% of those wanted by the Ottawa police have Muslim names” thread were quite odd.
That being said, he has been an Anti-Jihadist here for many years. I try to look at a poster’s entire commenting history (to the extent that I can recall it, of course–I do not have a photographic memory).

O.G., I politely suggest that your list is entirely correct, save one line: Islam is slavery for all who are allowed to live. Muslims are slaves, just as jailers are in jail with other inmates.
