Bangladesh was born in 1971 in a pool of Hindu blood. Nothing has changed there in the past 50 years; atrocities against religious minorities are at an all-time high in the country, and only increase in intensity during this time of the year, as Hindus gear up for the Durga Puja celebrations.
This year, the Durga Puja anarchy of Muslims in Bangladesh started even before the idols of the deities could be placed in the pandals; a group of vandals desecrated these idols while they were being sculpted in Kushtia, Bangladesh, according to the Dhaka Tribune.
“We informed the police immediately after we found the murtis broken Wednesday morning,” said advocate Anup Kumar Nandi, president of the district puja celebration committee. According to sources, the vandalism took place at a makeshift structure built for the ceremony in the Aruapara area, where the Bengali Hindus celebrate Durga Puja every year by putting up these temporary structures. The artisans had left the clay idols to dry overnight, and the vandal took advantage of this time. The Officer-In-Charge at the Kushtia Model police station, Sabbirul Islam, informed the public that the police have visited the area and are looking into the matter.
Such sabotage is common in the Islamic nation; some Muslims in Bangladesh are not content with destroying just one pandal and taking down just one idol. Hence, shortly after this incident, on the night of September 24, unidentified miscreants reportedly ransacked two Hindu temples dedicated to goddess Durga in Joyporehat’s Madhyapara and Purbapara. They beheaded the idols of the goddess and other deities inside these temples. Local Hindus were livid after discovering the desecrated idols and informed the authorities. Local police have arrested the son of one a local, Mohammad Karim Mondol.
Reports of attacks on Durga idols have surfaced from Daulatdia city in Chuadanga District, Khulna as well. A Hindu temple has been raided; the idol was damaged and disfigured soon after the artisans completed the sculpting and left the temple premises on Friday, September 24. A few Hindus took to social media to express their anguish, but little seems to have been done by local officials, apart from inspecting the area and assuring the public that “efforts are being made to catch the culprits.” None of the attackers has been identified or caught as of this writing.
On Thursday, October 7, the Durga Puja arrangements made by the Chanchia-Mirgung-Sahapara locals were plundered by unknown agitators. The idol of the deity was torn down while it was still in the process of being constructed. This led to unrest among the Hindus in the area, and the police were called. Senior police officials and other notable civilians holding significant offices visited the site and initiated an investigation. No arrests have yet been made.
There has also been an allegation of attacks on a Durga Puja pandal in Kotwali, Chittagong, where Muslims harassed a procession carrying the idol of the deity inside the venue and ultimately destroyed the idol. Hindus took to the streets of Kotwali, demanding severe trials for those who planned and executed the attack.
A similar case of vandalism was reported in Rastampur village in Savar Upazila of Dhaka on October 11. With the state administration not granting any security or assurance to imperiled minorities, the committee members are trying to invite volunteers to take care of the temple’s security. However, given the violent nature of these planned ambush attacks, the safety of unarmed volunteers guarding the temples or pandals cannot be taken for granted, either.
While Bangladesh’s police have largely been ineffective in catching and punishing miscreants who have been disrupting the religious rituals of the religious minorities in the country, it was appalling to witness them subjugate the already terrorized Hindus further, and in an institutionalized way, and in the national capital of the Islamic republic.
After local Muslims made strong objections to the celebrations of the Hindus, instead of appealing for tolerance from these hardliners, police on Monday, October 11 directed the Hindus to cease the puja proceeding at the heritage Shankhanidi Temple on Tiu Sultan Road in the city. Anguished Hindus were ordered to move the idol to a makeshift pavilion elsewhere. This has caused great despair among the Hindus community, which has not been given an explanation as to why they had to relinquish their natural rights to hold religious ceremonies within a temple area that belonged to them.
The Bangladesh Hindu Unity Council, a Bangladesh-based Hindu body struggling for the basic rights of religious minorities in the country, took to Twitter to make public the fact that the rituals that should have been performed in the temple were now being conducted on the streets.

Minorities in Bangladesh face the same persecution as in all Muslim countries. Hindus are only about 8% of the population, they should all move to India, or India should reconquer all the territories they gave away to the Muslims.
There’s just nothing more evil on this Earth than Islam. The world would simply be better off if they were eliminated, given how much they make the rest of us suffer through riots, rapes, murders, land-thefts, forced conversions and so forth. Islam is a cancer on this world that needs to go.
Now the West too is learning about this death cult that’s been plaguing humanity for 1400 years. Hopefully we wise up and do something about it-deportations would be a good start.

Just appalling–and this is proof that this is not just “hardliners”, but the “normal” Muslim population as well as Bangladeshi authorities.
There is sadly no future for Hindus and other Infidels in Bangladesh–they should take India up on her offer of asylum.

They should, except that enough muslims have beaten them to India and totally hijacked West Bangladesh (or Waste Bengal). There’s a reason that a hundred thousand Hindus in West Bengal have left that state for other neighboring states
Today, in Bangladesh, an overwhelming number of their muslim citizens, who weren’t around some 50 years ago, lament Bangladesh’s secession from Pakistan. In 1971, the #1 issue for East Pakistanis, muslim or not, was language: they wanted Bengali to be on an equal footing w/ Urdu. Today in Bangladesh, islamic greetings have replaced traditional Bengali greetings, even among Hindus there, and there have also been attempts to change the script of the language to Nastaliq (the traditional script for any language spoken by muslims)
The sooner India recognizes Bangladesh as a disguised enemy and aggressively implements NRC, the better!

Agreed Graven, I was thinking to myself when I first read this article, just imagine you’re living with a diverse mix of people in your country, people who should under normal circumstance, get along and respect each other.
Why should Muslims hate anyone for any reason? Why can’t they believe in their God and let others believe in their own gods? Live and let live. I simply don’t understand this innate hatred they have for all things “not Islam.”
Muslims are not happy if you’re happy. If you’re celebrating your festivals, they’re offended and feel they have to rain on your parade. They drive trucks and cars into crowds in Germany at Christmas markets. Just imagine how much hate and anger they have towards us that they’re willing to risk their lives, give up their security in order to ruin other people’s day and even kill them.
Meanwhile the rest of the population looks on like brain-dead zombies, quip “oh something happened today” and then go back to normal while the problem of Islam grows and grows like a volcano.
We should have a world where we can all live in peace, pray to the gods we prefer or not believe at all and nobody should be infringing on anyone else’s rights or beliefs. That will not happen until Islam is gone once and for all.
Muslims have proven a billion times over they will never live in peace with anyone, not even each other. What we need a global mass movement against Islam. Every city should gather thousands, then millions of us together so we become a powerful force. Individually Muslims will try to pick us off but they can’t do anything if we’re well organized. Talking will not be enough, action is required.
Just like people marched to get women’s rights or to end slavery the same must be done to end Islam, or it will continue to grow and one day we’ll be like the Hindu minority in a Muslim majority country and wonder how it happened.
It can be done-I recall in the past there used to be large groups of Jew haters with their ‘Free Palestine’ demonstrations and they faced very little opposition. Over time however the Pro-Israel side also had large rallies and eventually in some places the Palestinian marches got banned because the authorities realized these people were evil and wanted to destroy Israel. Once people see there is opposition to Islam then they will get bolder and work to end it.

I’d have understood if the muslims didn’t want the celebrations near their mosques (even if I still disagreed w/ it), but in this case, why did muslims have an objection to 5 Hindu idols being placed (that too for about a week) in a Hindu temple? I know about their opposition to idol worship, but were they trying to claim the Shankhanidi temple as a mosque? Next door, in West Bengal, these things are not done in Hindu temples: they’re done in temporary makeshift tents that are taken down on Vijaya Dashami (coincident w/ Dusshera) and the idols (usually clay) were immersed in the river (although that practice has been heavily cracked down on in the name of the environment in India)

On a different note, Bangladeshi jihadists recently held a rally where they promised a resumption of ghazwa-e-Hind, or the re-islamization of India. Modi and Amit Shah need to get serious about the fact that Bangladesh is little different from Pakistan (aside from the latter’s open border w/ Afghanistan), and really crack down on Bangladeshi muslims in India, be it in Waste Bengal, Kerala, Uttarakhand, Delhi or anywhere else in the country. Otherwise Hindus won’t have a country left when it’s all done: Nepal has gone communist, and Mauritius is too tiny
