Shut it down! Not just in Israel, but everywhere!
“Following PMW’s complaint, Police open criminal investigation against Facebook Israel for terror incitement,” by Itamar Marcus, Palestinian Media Watch, October 21, 2021:
Palestinian Media Watch submitted a complaint on May 23, 2021 to Israeli police against Facebook Israel and its CEO for aiding and abetting Fatah incitement to terror, under clause 24(b)(1) of the Anti-Terror Law.
PMW has now been informed by Israeli police that it has opened an official investigation pursuant to our complaint. Conviction for someone who “publishes direct calls to commit acts of terror” is up to 5 years of imprisonment.
Background: In April and early May, Mahmoud Abbas’ PA and Fatah were actively inciting violence and terror. The Palestinian population was furious that Abbas had cancelled elections to prevent a Hamas victory, and Abbas was trying to distract them with a terror wave in defense of Jerusalem. With over a quarter of a million followers, the avenue of choice for the PA and Fatah to promote violence and terror was Fatah’s Facebook pages.
On May 9, 2021, PMW alerted Facebook, writing to the CEO of Facebook Israel Adi Soffer Teeni, that Fatah was using its many Facebook pages to publish calls to commit acts of terror. PMW demanded that Facebook close Fatah’s Facebook pages.
PMW warned Facebook: “If you fail to act as the violence [in Jerusalem] rages and as Fatah and its leaders continue to abuse the Facebook platform to spread violence, we will have no choice but to submit an official complaint to the Israeli police against Facebook in general and key personnel in particular, for the aiding and abetting the violence. We expect your quick and decisive response.” [PMW letter, May 9, 2021]
However, Facebook continued its policy of allowing Fatah to post incitement to hate and terror, and to publish direct calls to commit acts of terror, thus fanning the terror in Jerusalem and the rest of Israel throughout the Gaza war with Hamas.
PMW submitted the complaint to Israeli police against Facebook Israel and its CEO for incitement to terror on May 23 and recently was notified by the police that a formal investigation of PMW’s complaint was opened. Given the clear evidence (see below), we hope that the police will act swiftly against Facebook to determine if prosecution is warranted against the Israeli Facebook staff who made the decision to enable Fatah to use Facebook to promote terror. In addition, we hope the police will demand the closure of the Fatah’s Facebook pages that, as PMW has shown, have been actively fanning the flames of terror for many years.
Palestinian Media Watch submitted a complaint to Israeli police against Facebook Israel and its CEO Adi Soffer Teeni on May 23, 2021 for incitement to terror under clause 24(b)(1) of the Anti-Terror Law. PMW has been warning Facebook for years that it is a fundamental part of Fatah’s terror promotion, and has supplied Facebook with hundreds of examples of hate and terror promotion on Fatah’s Facebook platform as documented in numerous PMW reports. Facebook claims to be very strict about eliminating hate speech and promoting violence and closing other hate disseminating Facebook accounts. However, Facebook has made a decision to keep open the official Fatah page, thus allowing Fatah to disseminate hate speech against Israel, glorify terrorists who murder Israelis and even be a platform for Fatah’s calls to violence and terror. Given the importance of social media as a disseminator of incitement to violence, Facebook’s behavior has been life-threatening and places them as a central cog in Fatah’s terror infrastructure.
In PMW’s complaint to the police against Facebook Israel, we noted that on May 8, with Arab violence raging in Jerusalem including attacks on police and on Jews walking in the streets of Jerusalem, Fatah used 9 different Facebook pages, including its official Facebook page with 234,305 followers, to disseminate its call for violence, including…

I hope they go after zukerberg personally.
I’d love to see that traitor bankrupt and in a prison cell where he belongs.
I know the chances of it actually happening are slim and none, but a Jewish girl can dream.

Plus 2. You do not admit enemy propaganda to your public sources of information in time of war for any reason, let alone this kind of outright advocacy.
Would we have allowed Hitler and the Nazis access to our radios during WWII?

This above jihadwatch article starts off with the stance “Following PMW’s complaint, Police open criminal investigation against Facebook Israel for terror incitement,” by Itamar Marcus, Palestinian Media Watch, October 21, 2021:
Nevertheless Facebook , early last week, removed my statement about the Taliban because they said that it “Violated their Community Standards.
Therefore here is what offended their C.C. “It’s totally absurd and unrealistic of Joe Biden and the other governmental leftists to feel that a genuine lasting peace agreement can be made and kept with those cruel misogynistic monsters.”

Yes–opposing Jihad terror gets you censored on Facebook, but Jihad terror incietment seems to be fine. Utter insanity.

Exactly right it’s the same across all social media. If you oppose Islamic fascism/terrorism, your posts get deleted and you get banned…if you support it, then it’s allowed.
This is excellent, I hope we see FB’s leadership jailed for aiding terrorism-the same needs to happen to Twitter and other social media giants, long time in coming.

All things considered, it would have been better for the world, for mankind, had Facebook never existed in the first place.
Ditto for Islam.

It’s original use was somewhat useful. I never had a Facebook account, but a decade ago, my sister showed me where a lot of the people that I knew in school now (i.e. then) were. However, once people started using it for news and political opinions, and Facebook itself got involved in ‘curating’ them, it was over!

I joined Facebook a few years ago so I could participate in “Everybody Draw Muhammad Day”. I haven’t used it since.
I do know a lot of people who just use it to keep up with family and hobbies–it’s pretty innocent then.

Gravenimage: Your comment and Infidel’s only helps to prove my overall point, to wit, that it would have been better off for mankind, and especially for the West, if Facebook had never been created in the first place.
Zuckerberg represents just one more example of how little to nothing good has come out of Harvard and the Ivy League over the last half century or so. Yeah, I know he left Harvard without getting a degree but that is irrelevant compared to what I asserted above.
There are many destructive forces operating in the West today. What passes for higher education is one of them and the Ivy League leads the way here. Were I an employer, someone with an Ivy League degree would be an immediate negative as opposed to, say, someone with a degree from Idaho State or Iowa State, all other matters being equal.
You already know I detest cities, as Thomas Jefferson did. Well, I also detest the Ivy League. Two of a kind.

We need to take the initiative, not merely complain about Facebook.
Israel should break into “Palestinian” media outlets and start broadcasting its own views in Arabic. Israel spends too much tolerating anti-Semitic hate.
It needs to take off its gloves, stop facilitating Qatari money transfers and put out its viewpoint on PA media channnels in Arabic.
Stop messing around, Israel! Hit back!

I do not want Amazon investors hurt. I just want Zuckerberg and his “Fact-Checkers” tried as international and domestic terrorists for advocating by allowing the invitation to violence in order to affect government policies. That includes BLM and ANTIFA as well as Muhammadanism in all its forms.

I also can’t stand Zuckerberg for his bias libturd views, shutting down Christian pages, etc. Having said that, I take two things into consideration: (1) Does giving the freedom to moslems to post their murderous garbage help the FBI, CIA, etc. by keeping track of where and who specifically it’s coming from? I would think such info would be invaluable to the authorities; (2) A FB building is an easy bomb target for moslems. It’s very possible that Zuckerberg’s advisors are warning him about this. Should a building be bombed in retaliation for censoring moslem garbage, would or could Zuckerberg be tried for mass murder, knowing that this would be the inevitable result? We all know it, and I can see this being a legal case. Very tough situation.
