As the West contributes to its own demise in dhimmitude via unvetted immigration policies, Islamic countries take quite a different approach to Muslim migrants. This crackdown against Muslim migrants isn’t unique to Libya. Turkey was harsh too in its deportation of hundreds of Muslim migrants from Afghanistan.
The UN has also reported that “a migrant was shot dead and at least 15 others injured during the raids.” Libya has argued “they have launched a security operation against illegal migration and drug trafficking,” but the Western media continues to play a role in branding the West as “Islamophobic” and “racist” for exercising its sovereign rights and acting to protect national security and the rule of law.
Yet Western globalists will continue kowtow to the demands of Muslim migrants, allowing unvetted immigration as well as illegal migration.
“Libya’s migrant detentions tops 5,000 as crackdown continues”, Al Jazeera, October 4, 2021:
The number of migrants and refugees detained in a major crackdown in western Libya has exceeded 5,000 people, including hundreds of women and children, according to a United Nations tally.
Of those detained, 215 are children and more than 540 women, at least 30 of whom were pregnant, the UN’s International Organisation for Migration (IOM) told The Associated Press on Monday.
The UN agency counted 5,152 migrants who have been detained in the raids since Friday, with numbers likely to increase as the crackdown continues in the western town of Gargaresh, a major hub for migrants in the North African nation, and across the area.
Hussein Baoumi, Libya and Egypt campaigner at Amnesty International, told Al Jazeera those arrested had been brought to detention centres including Al-Mabani and Shara’ al-Zawiya, in Tripoli, and were complaining of inhumane conditions and extreme overcrowding.
“People we spoke to have to sleep with a rotation system, where some people would stand and others would sleep,” Baoumi said.
The organisation was sent videos of guards beating the detainees with sticks and water pipes and received complaints from people not receiving enough food.
At least two women who spoke to Amnesty International reported sexual harassment. One of them said she had been forced to strip naked at a detention centre.
According to the organisation, the crackdown was conducted by the “Public Security” militia, led by former Deputy Head of Libyan Intelligence Emad al-Trabulsi, as well as the “Security Directorate Support Force”. Both groups are linked to the Libyan Ministry of Interior.
Authorities described it as a security campaign against undocumented migration and drug trafficking, but the Ministry of Interior, which led the crackdown, made no mention of traffickers or smugglers being arrested.
Amnesty International has called on Libyan authorities to charge anyone who committed a crime singularly, while releasing those who are innocent, including more than 200 children.
Among those arrested are many who have registered with the UN refugee agency, meaning they have been recognised as refugees or asylum seekers.
“These people are escaping persecution from their countries of origin and should be protected, not imprisoned,” Baoumi said.
The United Nations received reports of one young migrant being shot and killed. Five others sustained gunshot wounds, two of whom were in intensive care. It also received reports that communications were shut down, with individuals unable to access information and seek assistance….

The Washington Post is calling for the US to settle Afghans in ‘mostly while, Christian Wyoming’. They really do hate America.

They’re really desperate to salvage Liz Cheney’s @$$

I don’t see how that’s Libya ‘joining’ Turkey. But which ‘government’ is it – the GNA or the LNA – that’s doing the crackdown? At any rate, I’d like to see Libya repudiate Turkey

I didn’t see anything about turkey, either. This is the only mention of another country, that I could see; “Hussein Baoumi, Libya and Egypt campaigner at Amnesty International,” and that’s not turkey.

Infidel and Somehistory, there is this line:
“This crackdown against Muslim migrants isn’t unique to Libya. Turkey was harsh too in its deportation of hundreds of Muslim migrants from Afghanistan.”
It just means that Libya like Turkey is not welcoming to Muslim migrants.

oh, ok. I didn’t read the part before the submitted article from al jzeer…

Thank you, Somehistory.

mozlums brought to the U.S. and given anything and everything they demand and are allowed to walk around totally unsupervised. With the knowledge that they are steeped to filth, in gang rape of little girls and young women…and even elderly…and have no intention of obeying the laws; and many are terrorists-in-waiting.
And in countries where mozlums are in the majority and mozlums rule, fellow mozlums…including children and pregnant women are locked up and deprived of necessary things for life.
What a twisted world in which we are living. And it is all by design.

Libya joins Turkey in ‘Islamophobia’: detains 5000 migrants in ongoing crackdown

………………
Yep–it is only the West that is supposed to take in hordes of ravening Mohammedans–even other parts of Dar-al-Islam don’t want them.
Of course, many of these Muslim migrants in both Libya and Turkey are on their way to Europe.
Infidel says
The other example is the Uyghurs. All muslim countries are only too happy to extradite them back to China, forcing them to seek refuge in non-muslim countries.
A future GOP government should get the 2 countries in the Balkans that we created – Bosnia and Kosovo – to take in everybody, and stop taking them in non-muslim countries. (Yeah, I know that Srpska is majority Serb, but unfortunately, no Western government supports their self determination the way they did for Kosovo)

True, Infidel. The idea that Muslims are even “merciful with each other” is seldom the case.

Send them to China, or Korea , this countries are safe , what’s wrong with that , they can “ integrate very well “..

By Korea, you mean North Korea? I’d love to see mohammedans getting the same treatment as North Koreans, and over the decades, having an average height of 3′
