The level of cruelty and barbarity has no boundaries for jihadis in pursuit of the expansion of Sharia hegemony. As the Fulani jihadists ripped away the infant Ruth from her mother’s arms, orphaned her, murdered her family, then left her to die of exposure and starvation, they also continued their rampage through the village, killing 65 others.
This is routine for jihadis as they obey the Qur’an’s command to “kill them wherever you find them” (2:191; 4:89; cf. 9:5). The brute murder of men, women, and children is all intended to expand the domains of the so-called religion of peace.
As the inhumane murder and abuse of Christians and minorities continues on a daily basis, nothing is being done to stop it. Instead, “anti-Islamophobia” drives effectively cover up these human rights abuses.
“Infant Girl Nearly Killed in Violent Militant Attack”, International Christian Concern, October 25, 2021:
10/25/2021 Nigeria (International Christian Concern) – It had been raining heavily for over 24 hours in Maiyanga village, a small community located in Central Nigeria’s Irigwe chiefdom. But two hours before the attack the rain stopped.
“The river was filled with so much water,” a source, preferring anonymity, told ICC. “Anyone who attempted to cross would be taken away.”
So, when the Fulani militants came at 4am that morning, there was no way out.
“We ran and hid ourselves by the riverside,” the source continued. “But the ground was wet enough to leave our footprint behind, and we could be easily traced.”
One set of muddy footprints led the gunmen to Hannatu Yakubu, who was hiding in a hold by the river, holding her three-month-old daughter, Ruth.
“I heard the gunmen negotiating with Hannatu,” said the source. “Because she could not reveal the whereabout of men as they demanded, the decided to kill her. But she pleaded with them to spare her daughter, Ruth.”
According to the source, the men agreed to let Ruth live in that moment but they promised Hannatu that Ruth would eventually die of hunger.
“They reached out and picked up Ruth from her mother and threw her away by the side. After that, they shot her mother without delay, leaving Ruth at the mercy of God in the cold weather.”
Five of Ruth’s family members were killed that day, August 2nd, along with 65 others in a series of brutal Fulani militia attacks that destroyed nine villages in Irigwe chiefdom, Plateau State, Nigeria.
“28 communities in Irigwe chiefdom have been displaced,” said Mr. Ezekiel Bini, president of the Irigwe Youth Movement. “The Kpachudu Pkate-nvie communities were attacked by 200 well-armed Fulani militants for five consecutive day uninterrupted. Government vehicles were seen taking looted items.”
Bini gave a worrisome assessment of the impact of Christian persecution in the land. “Between January 2021 to Jun 2021, 57 innocent women, men and children were killed mercilessly. 19 were injured, many of which resulted in the loss of human parts. 442 houses were razed, and 242 farms were destroyed.”…

So, where does the “merciful” bit come into it exactly ?
somehistory says
The report quotes the person speaking as saying that the baby was left to “God’s mercy.”
Since it says in the headline that Ruth survived, one could say that this was “Mercy” from Him.
Jesus warned His followers that all would be persecuted and this has been happening since the day He died…and now is at record levels due to mozlums everywhere slaughtering Christians. It’s part of the “cost” of being Christian since the “world hates Jesus.”
However, God will show abundant “mercy” when He sends His Son to rid the earth of all those who follow satan…every last one of them, of whatever ‘stripe’ or whatever claim they make. Mercy will be shown to those who render aid or support to Christ’s “brothers.” And little Ruth will be reunited with her mother when the woman is resurrected by Jesus.

Ade, I think this was the murderer sneering at the mother. I doubt that he thought this baby would survive, and certainly her surviving was no thanks to him.

I was going by what the person said, the “source,”
““They reached out and picked up Ruth from her mother and threw her away by the side. After that, they shot her mother without delay, leaving Ruth at the mercy of God in the cold weather.”
My understanding is that this “source” just had a better hiding place and saw and heard what was going on.
Quote: ““I heard the gunmen negotiating with Hannatu,” said the source. “Because she could not reveal the whereabout of men as they demanded, the decided to kill her. But she pleaded with them to spare her daughter, Ruth.”

Krishna Mishra says
Fashion of Secularism has made all non-Muslim religious followers scapegoats on the altar of Jihad as Muslims are the only people who never believe in Secularism.
All religions, especially Christianity & Hinduism, should join their hands and fight violently against the Islamic Jihadi, on the pattern group of Jews does in Inglorious Bastards.
gravenimage says
The problem here is not secularism, but Islam.
But I do agree that Christians and Hindus–and Jews and Sikhs and Buddhists and all other non-Muslims–should join together and defend against the threat of Islam.
Keith O says
Why is it that we never hear a peep about these sorts of murders coming out of the Vatican?
Is it because these people are poor and therefore of no use to the Vatican?
Or is it that reporting these attacks would be embarrassing to the great Iman, pope Francis?
Wellington says
Yes, Keith O, Francis’ silence is shameful but then what can you expect from a shameful man?
john smith says
Agreed Keith and Wellington.
Pope Francis is an absolute disgrace to the church, and a disgrace to even call himself. His loyalties are with those who intend to slaughter us.
john smith says
mean to say “call himself a Christian”.
somehistory says
Money and power…the bottom line with the ‘pope.’ He cares not one little bit for the people he is pretending to “shepherd.” That is why he slapped the poor woman who dared put her hand on him.
And, he then washes and kisses the feet of those who hate us…and him…in order to ‘show’ how very kind and like Christ he pretends to be.
Jesus washed the feet of His disciples…His apostles…who were with Him at his last meal. He didn’t go out and wash the feet of the Pharisees and the Roman generals or Pilate or Herod. And, when the poor woman put out her hand and took a hold on Jesus’ garment, He turned and spoke kindly to her and healed her of her sickness.
This ‘pope’ doesn’t know or understand Jesus Christ Who instructed Peter to “care for my sheep,” and “feed my little sheep.”
So, pope guy doesn’t say anything about these attacks because he doesn’t care and because it would upset his claims that they are just like us and we should bring them in, don’t send them back where it’s unsafe, and all the other balderdash he dishes out.
Wellington says
You know, somehistory, I know you are a Christian and not a Roman Catholic—which I respect and as is your right.
Perhaps unlike you, being a completely non-religious man as I know you know by now—though admiring the Judeo-Christian ethic and knowing full well it is part and parcel of why Western Civilization is easily the greatest civilization of all time (ah yes, divorcing a sage ethic from its theology is a deuce difficult and interesting matter, preferably discussed over many pitchers of beer—but I digress), nonetheless and all that, if Christianity is to prevail as the major religion of the West (something I definitely support), it is imperative that someone like Francis (I can hardly call him “Pope” anymore than I can call Biden “President”) be assigned to the trash heap of history. Unfortunately, the “trash” is now largely in charge of the West, from Biden to Trudeau to Merkel to Johnson to Francis, et al.
Damn shame. What a waste of a great civilization, easily the greatest ever. Well, the West was founded by near geniuses and is now run by complete fools. Not lookin’ good.
somehistory says
Wellington,
for a guy who claims to be non-religious, you (in my understanding, though I’m not God nor Jesus Who do judging) fit the description of those whom Jesus tells to go to His right hand and off into life eternal. (Matthew chapter 25)
There is a verse in the Proverbs that speaks about ruler-ship and its effects on the people…whether good or bad…depending on the kind of person ruling.
There is also the parable…not from Jesus…I believe it was in the time of Gideon, about the trees of the forest choosing one to ‘rule over them,’ and they choose first one and then another until the bramble is chosen and accepts the appointment.(Judges 9:8-15 )
There is a “bramble” in the Vatican and another in the WH and nothing good comes from these ones who are out to destroy mankind, so they can “rule” over any who survive.
I read early this morning that biden sent an email about stuffing the planes with the “unvetted” mozlums in afghanistan. Just one of the many things that show how evil are those who are “ruling” over us.

somehistory,
Pope Francis is a “Christian in name only”.
Judging by his actions, he is not a practicing Christian.

James,
I believe he is a wolf in the clothing he believes the sheep wear, but as I see him, he is naked and exposed for the fraud…”false shepherd”… that he really is.

This inhumane and horrible act against a defenseless infant, which was also committed against the whole humanity, by oppressive terrorists says much about the international media and human rights organizations as Ms. Douglass-Williams and Mr. Spencer points out in their articles.
As our fellow friend Krishna Mishra above puts it clearly, the opressed of the world, which are being opressed at the hands of same entity, both Christians, Hindus and other religions should put their hands on the table for defence.

Nigeria: Muslims murder infant’s mother, throw baby aside and leave her to die of cold and starvation (she survived)
……………………….
Thank God she survived! But 65 of her fellow villagers did not, including her mother.

……………………….
The Nigerian government is doing nothing to protect these poor people–and seems to be joining in in many cases. Since so many with the government are Muslim this grimly does not surprise.

The Nigerian Government is majorly FULANI MUSLIMS. So this genocide has Religion and Tribal coloration. The Fulanis are killing people from other tribes, other religions, and large farming communities.

Some of this is tribal–but the driving factor is Islam and the murder of non-Muslims.
