Germany is no longer Christian, is ashamed of ever having been Christian, and wants to make the growing number of Muslims in the country feel welcome. And so any expression of its former cultural and religious identity must be destroyed, or apologized for, as in this case. It’s all for pluralism, you see. But of course German authorities will eventually find that many of those for whom they performed these acts of self-abnegation are not likewise willing to discard their own customs and traditions for the sake of multicultural Germany. And then what will happen?
“A misunderstanding of history and hollow relativism at the Berlin City Palace,” translated from “Geschichtsklitterung und hohler Relativismus am Berliner Stadtschloss,” Free the Words, October 26, 2021 (thanks to Medforth):
Bible verses adorn the dome of the Berlin City Palace. The Palace Foundation considers this unacceptable. It is feared that people of other religions might feel harassed by this Christian message. That is why they want to put up a separate plaque next to the dome.
The Berlin City Palace was rebuilt beginning in 2013 and inaugurated in December 2020. The real palace was almost completely destroyed by bombs in 1945, and was finally blown up by the GDR rulers in 1950 and replaced in 1971 by the Palace of the Republic (in GDR jargon “Palazzo Prozzo” or “Erich’s lamp shop”).
Now, as has been the case for more than a century and a half, a biblical phrase also adorns the dome of the newly built palace. In 1844, the Prussian King Friedrich Wilhelm IV chose the passage: “There is salvation in no other, (…) but in the name of Jesus, to the glory of God the Father. That in the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth” (Acts IV, 12 and Philippians II, 10).
But now this: The Palace Foundation considers these sentences to be an unreasonable “claim to dominance by Christianity” and wants to point this out with its own text panel. They fear that people of other religions might feel oppressed by this Christian message. That is why they want to put up a special plaque next to the cupola. It will read: “All institutions in the Humboldt Forum expressly distance themselves from Christianity’s claim to sole validity and dominance, which is expressed in the inscription.”
Is there more self-abnegation possible? Can it get any more stupid and cowardly? Apparently, the Humboldt Forum does not even know its namesake. Otherwise it would have taken note of the following sentence and slowed itself down. Wilhelm von Humboldt wrote in his “Letters to a Friend” on April 25, 1823: “Nowhere is this fatherly concern of God for the happiness of every single individual so truly expressed as in Christianity and in the New Testament.”
Works of art renamed in politically correct fashion
Once again the politically correct, retroactive exorcists inflate themselves. The fact that they don’t know “their” Humboldt should actually be enough. But the fact that they implicitly deny that the civil and human rights of the modern world are unthinkable without the Enlightenment and without Christianity (!) and Judaism raises doubts about this institution. The circus around the Biblical passage is consistent with other positions of the Humboldt Forum: it presents the Ethnological Museum as an excuse for colonialism. Kowtow over kowtow to one’s own sin and vanity!
How would you like it, you pseudo-Humboldtians? Perhaps a city palace with minarets and daily muezzin calls – as they are now allowed to ring out on Fridays from up to 41 Cologne mosques? Are you satisfied then? Sure, Islam has absolutely nothing to do with any claim to power.
Or do you have other role models? For example, the “culturally sensitive” renaming of kindergarten parades on the occasion of St. Martin’s Day (November 11th) to “lantern parades”? Or the equally “culturally sensitive” renaming of Christmas markets to “light and star markets”? Or is a Bavarian tourism association a role model for you? It retouched the summit crosses on brochures advertising a tour through the Alps in Arabic.
No, friends, what you are doing here is the worship of a hollow relativism, and a denial of what Germany, Europe and the whole of the West are all about.

I would guess the real reason is not to make Muslims more at home in Germany, but rather to destroy Christian civilization to replace it with Marxism and the centralized power and authority of secular Marxist society and Ideology. Why not build Muslim monuments in the heart of Berlin, and why not start publishing antisemitic tracts and propaganda to help make Germany more Islamist compatible.
Rarely says
“Start”(???) publishing antisemitic tracts. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Christianity took a “vacation” vis-a-vie Germany from =/-1933 to 1945.

Make ’em put one up next to “There is not god but Allah”. (Or a disclaimer with whatever that yowl to prayer is called, I forget the name.) Good for the goose…
Then the only people anyone has to worry about offending are those of us being told we are going to hell for not believing in one or the other.

I have a question for you, if you don’t mind.
Since you don’t have a belief in a God…Christian or otherwise,..that would seem to me that you don’t **believe** in any kind of punishment for those who are disobedient So why do you care what people say about “hell”?
If you don’t believe any thing like that exists, why worry yourself over what people say about it?
If someone threatened me with a boogie man hiding under my bed, and I knew there was no one there, I would laugh it off and ignore that person.
So, my sincere question to you is, Why do you care?

There is a Christian intellectual who is very impressive,Stephen Meyer,in his latest book “Return Of The God Hypothesis: Three Scientific Discoveries That Reveal The Mind Behind The Universe”(2020)
the last part is for me the most fascinating. It has to do with multiple/parallel universes.
There is an atheist who is convicted of and known for sexual harassment of female student ,for years, Lawrence Krauss, who wrote “A Universe from Nothing”(2012).
Richard Dawkins wrote an epilogue for that book.
By nothing he meant quantum fluctuation and from it an infinite number of universes appeared.
Meyer in his book shows that 3 scientists in 2003 formulated a mathematical equation: the Borde–Guth–Vilenkin theorem.
The equation shows that ALL kinds of multiverse theories ( like string theory, inflationary theory, etc), obligatorily have to have a BEGINNING.
And BEFORE that beginning could appear there had to be a MATHEMATICAL equation. You can say,”the universe was created by….. MATH”.
But to arrive at that math equation( which began the universes ) many math calculations and decisions had to be made, a software program.
To get from a beginning math equation, with conditions imposed on it,and more math developments to create the math equation
that created the multiuniverse situation.
Stephen Meyer said Lawrence Krauss knows all that, and that only a MIND, the mind of an intelligent being, that existed before it all,
could have solved the math procedures required.
In the last part of this video Meyer talks about the subject, about Krauss’ assertions:

That is very interesting. I once read a book that explained that some atheists/evolutionists theorized. and some actually claimed, that life began in a primordial soup that held microbes and was hit with a bolt of lightening, which caused the microbes to come to life.
After that happened, life began to evolve until it climbed out of the water and onto the land.
I would like to ask those guys; from where did the soup, the microbes, the lightening, and the land come?
People do not understand how there could be a Being from “everlasting”…meaning no beginning, and some of those people, begin to try to reason out how “matter” and eventually “life” came to be without a Creator starting it all.
Another thing I wonder: If we all came from that soup, and evolved over billions of years, what makes atheists believe that humans are any better than the beginning microbes, legless sea creatures, apes, etc.?
I believe in Divine Creation, even though my mind can’t wrap around the fact of The Creator not having a beginning, but when reasoning on it, makes much more sense than that, suddenly, from nothing sprang everything necessary for life to exist. I believe He actually created man as a higher creature, “in His image.”
If I could get “something with nothing,” it would be easier to have things…if they just “appeared” out of thin air (from where comes the air?). But, what if these were not beneficial to me? What if a dinosaur suddenly appeared and proceeded to look for lunch?
And you are so right. It took a MIND to make these things…life…happen.

It won’t matter in the long-run. Each individual stands alone, as to belief and practices.
And, they will find that they cannot destroy the worship of God and His Son, because to do that, they would have to destroy God Himself and His Son.
That is why the Revelation says that the dragon “goes off to wage war” with the followers of Christ…because he couldn’t defeat Christ in Heaven. The devil tried that, and got kicked out. That demon snake is using his human children to wage war, but he and they will fail, just as he did in the war he waged with Christ.
But each one is being given opportunity to show what resides in the individual heart.

It’s no surprise really. I think most Bible-believing Christians have read Book of Revelation one extra time during all of this craziness that has been going on ever since the governments around the world seemed to agree on the less proven fact that we were facing the most dangerous virus in recent times. Are we already in the great Tribulation? I don’t think so, but I know the Bible says the Jews will return to their own land, Christianity will experience a great falling away and that all countries around the world will attack Israel just before Jesus returns. By the looks of it, I don’t think we’re very far away…

Germany: Foundation wants to put plaque next to Bible verses on Berlin City Palace cupola to avoid offending Muslims
……………….
Are Muslims now hanging out at the cupola of the Berlin City Palace? Really, this is just grotesque. Self-abnegation and appeasement of savagery at its most abject.

I wonder how long before the churches in Germany start removing crucifixes and stop ringing the bells a la Sweden, to avoid any “offense”.

Next the Germans women must try draping Burqa and the fanatical Muslims will be euphoric that Sharia has arrived in Germany indeed. Every vice starts with little like, smoking, boozing etc. Here, tragically, Germans are more concerned about the barbarians and the spiteful Islamist. It started with the “offensive” cross, then bible, church. Did the Germans ever wonder that even their faces would be offensive?
The Western leaders are cruel monsters, I for one would never believe that they are ignorant. Don’t they have so many Muslims around who bear fruits for islam? (jihad and stealth jihad).

Followers of a religion of peace should perhaps ask not what the Germans can do to avoid offending them, but what they can do to avoid offending the Germans and Christians and Jews of Europe. That would be a good start. The Jews of Germany tried to assimilate and adopt German practices to avoid offending. So often in Germany one sees minarets intentionally built to attract attention. I have seen synagogues that one hardly notices. They are not meant to impress or assert cultural aggression against Christians. The members of the religion of peace could take a lesson from them.

Why are we so hell bent on not offending Muslims? They offend, rape and murder us and our governments are worried about their feelings. We need to do more than offend the muslim population who violate our laws and threaten our lives, like DEPORT them back to the Islamic countries they come from and quit just slapping their hands and turning our backs on their hate for us.

The problem is there are too many feckless, globalist politicians like Justine Trudeau. Justine tells the Canadian people “Islam is compatible with Western secular democracy”. The Muslim Brotherhood hoods, the Imams and so called Islamic scholars living in Canada, i.e. Mazin Abdul-Adhim, head of the Canadian Hibz ut-Tharir, terror group say “Islam is NOT compatible with democracy.”

Don’t try to understand why. For instance, why do many women keep going back to violent, aggressive partners or marry serial killers in prison? Some things cannot be explained in a way that makes sense to the rest of us, which is why we need to be a lot more careful, who we elect for office. They will project their own, sometimes very twisted ideas, about right and wrong, good and bad on the rest of us.
