My latest in FrontPage:
Against all odds, the verdict came down just the way it would have before there came to be a two-tier justice system in America, with Leftists (Hillary Clinton, Andrew Cuomo, Joe Biden, Hunter Biden) enjoying the “privilege” that they claim white people enjoy, and evading all legal consequences no matter how egregiously they flout the law. Kyle Rittenhouse was acquitted of all charges, as was only fitting and proper: it was abundantly clear from video evidence that he acted in self-defense in the killings of Anthony Huber and Joseph Rosenbaum, and the wounding of Gaige Grosskreutz. It was so clear that he was defending himself, in fact, that he should never have been tried in the first place, and only was put on trial in order to appease Leftists outraged that he had dared to resist the violent rioters they have appallingly likened to the heroes who stormed the Normandy beaches.
Nonetheless, justice was done, and that means that the Left is even more enraged now than it was already. Joe Biden, who has a half-century of public lying under his belt, showed yet again that he lied when he said that he would work for national unity. His handlers issued a statement that depicted the ostensible president stoking the flames of outrage: “While the verdict in Kenosha will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned, myself included, we must acknowledge that the jury has spoken.”
Angry and concerned about what, Joe? That one American had shown that he wouldn’t take it lying down when Antifa and Black Lives Matter showed up to burn down a city?
Other Leftist leaders were much more explicit than Biden’s handlers about what exactly made them so angry. Rep. Cori Bush (D-Race Baiter) tweeted: “The judge. The jury. The defendant. It’s white supremacy in action. This system isn’t built to hold white supremacists accountable. It’s why Black and brown folks are brutalized and put in cages while white supremacist murderers walk free. I’m hurt. I’m angry. I’m heartbroken.” At least one tweeter tried to inject a bit of sanity into the proceedings, responding: “Every single person involved in this shooting is/was White. Even the attorneys and judge are White. Where is racism involved? It’s an honest question.”
No answer was forthcoming, of course. How could there be, when Bush’s statement was so far from reality that even Salvador Dali would stand back in awe? Bush’s central assumption, of course, was that white people can essentially do whatever they want in America, without fearing any legal consequences. This is so ridiculous as to defy rational consideration, but it was also ominous: in Cori Bush’s ideal America, violent rioters can maraud at will with no fear of resistance, because anyone who dares to stand up to them will be smeared as a “white supremacist” and found guilty because of that designation, regardless of the facts of the case.
Bush’s hysterical response to the verdict was similar to that of former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-Nursing Homes), who tweeted: “Today’s verdict is a stain on the soul of America, & sends a dangerous message about who & what values our justice system was designed to protect[.] We must stand unified in rejecting supremacist vigilantism & with one voice say: this is not who we are.”
A stain on the soul of America? Really? Like 15,000 nursing home Covid deaths and multiple claims of sexual harassment? Cuomo’s tweet was the height of irony, because in reality it is not the Rittenhouse verdict, but the fact that Andrew Cuomo is a free man today, that is a “stain on the soul of America, & sends a dangerous message about who & what values our justice system was designed to protect.” The fact that Cuomo, like Hillary Clinton and Hunter Biden and so very many other Leftists, doesn’t have to worry in the slightest degree about facing prosecution, no matter what they have quite obviously done, is the real stain on the soul of America.
But even worse may be the fallout from the Rittenhouse verdict. Watch for numerous new initiatives from Leftists in power to curb “white supremacy” in our justice system, which means to make it more difficult for people to defend themselves from violent Leftists. Kyle Rittenhouse had the effrontery to fight back and win; this must never be allowed to happen again. As always when faced with a loss, Leftists will overplay their hand. In the coming months, lovers of freedom will need to stand stronger than ever.

The dice have been cast, the future of Free People is in play. I’m thinkin this country is so fractured that the only solution is to draw new boundary lines and let the Progs have their own “Safe Space”…… Those of US who understand the Cost of freedom will be better off and we will still be Paying Our Dues to be Free to live with OUR GOD GIVEN RIGHTS…. I hope the break comes soon I’m getting to old for Battle….
Keys says
Yes indeed, “the future of Free People is in play” !
Do not doubt or be deceived that the “Progs” want it all; they want to control all and everywhere with absolutely no compromise. No boundaries for them.
Just like Islam – wants it all for Allah.
Just like evil – wants your soul completely.
somehistory says
The main problem is, the ones who are trying to take away our Freedoms refuse to believe that they are God Given Rights and that they can just so easily decide what we can and cannot do based on their definition of *Truth* and what is right and wrong…which with them, is changeable based on what they believe at any given time.
They don’t believe in God, so have no problem not believing that our Rights came from Him.
PRCS says
“They don’t believe in God, so have no problem not believing that our Rights came from Him.”
As I obviously don’t believe in gods–as an atheist–it follows that my rights come not from your god but are delineated in the U.S. Constitution (as amended) and relevant man-made laws.
Do the rights of Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, or the folowers of other religions here in the U.S. come from their gods, yours, or U.S. law?
Do you believe the rights of Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and other
gravenimage says
There are Agnostics and Atheists–including many here–who do indeed staunchly believe in human rights.
somehistory says
My belief is that God gave Rights to mankind., all of the same Rights to …all of mankind…to use as they choose. The “right” to Life, the “right” to pursue happiness, and the “right” to use those Rights in Freedom of choices that one may see as their best way.
Some use their Rights from God to worship Him and try to do as Jesus said, “Do to others as you wish them to do to you.”
Some choose to use those Rights to practice evil…sometimes in the way of *religious* things;
and others use those Rights to not believe He exists; and that is their “right” until HE decides that it is enough.
God is the One Who will decide which humans have chosen the best way to use the Rights He gave us….all of us.
As I said in my other comment, :”the ones who are trying to take away our Freedoms refuse to believe that they are God Given Rights and that they can just so easily decide what we can and cannot do based on their definition of *Truth* and what is right and wrong…which with them, is changeable based on what they believe at any given time.”
It’s also true that some people see what they **wish** to see, to read into things **statements** or **implications** that simply are not there. To be blind is also their “right.”

He should sue the MSM who for the last year have been calling him a white supremist for shooting three white thugs members of an angry mob who were trying to kill him as he ran away from them. Pretend President Biden has tweeted he is” angry” about the verdict ,I pray to God for a red wave in the election cycles in 2022 and 2024 to wash this country clean of these present Democrats in office.
somehistory says
All of the main-stream *news* people called him a murderer and other *guilty-of* stuff. I was thinking he should sue all of them…none said “alleged”…and a couple of days ago, before the verdict came in, Alan Dershowitz (probably misspelled) said the same thing….that Rittenhouse should sue. Evidently they didn’t learn their lesson after being sued by the young student who was pushed around by a Native American male in D.C. and the *news* couldn’t stop lying about the young man who did nothing wrong.
Rittenhouse might get enough money to buy a new gun or two.
Terry Gain says
I follow the news very carefully and I have never heard Dershowitz defame Rittenhouse. I think you are mistaken.
somehistory says
I didn’t say that Mr Dershowitz “defamed” Rittenhouse.
I said that I thought Rittenhouse should “sue” all those reporters who called him “guilty” before there was ever a trial, before the verdict was in…they never said “alleged” and I thought that he should sue and Mr. Alan Dershowitz said “the same thing”….that I said…”that he should sue.”
Quote: Alan Dershowitz (probably misspelled) said the same thing….that Rittenhouse should sue.”
So, not “mistaken” in what I wrote. You just misunderstood what I wrote.
Infidel says
On the contrary, Dershowitz said (on Newsmax) that had Kyle Rittenhouse not opened fire, he would have been dead!
somehistory says
Yes, and as I wrote, he said that Rittenhouse should sue…the same way that the young man in D.C. who was wrongly, falsely, accused while wearing a MAGA cap, sued and got a bundle of money from settlements.
Someone, I forgot who, said that the prosecutor said that Rittenhouse should have given his gun to those attacking him. And the kid is still being attacked and threatened.

LB says
Kyle Rittenhouse is a hero and a true American patriot who showed up armed that night ready to defend his city from being burned down by anti-American (and anti-white) rioters and looters while the police were passive observers who just watched it all happen. I’d bet everything I own on the fact that most, if not all, of those Antifa/BLM rioters have criminal records, just like all three white (Jewish actually) guys Kyle shot in self-defense.
As Robert Spencer correctly points out: “The fact that Cuomo, like Hillary Clinton and Hunter Biden and so very many other Leftists, doesn’t have to worry in the slightest degree about facing prosecution, no matter what they have quite obviously done, is the real stain on the soul of America.” Ain’t that the truth…
Rarely says
It would seem that, regardless of one’s politics, one can “fill in” for the police when one feels like it. Sounds a bit like anarchy to me.
Is it now “open season” on demonstrators?
Very questionable decision but it looks more like the prosecution blew it.
Rarely says
P.S. Of course there was an insane reaction to the decision by various leftists who tend to see things from one perspective only — everything is racist, based on white male privilege. Not unlike the man who only has a hammer so he sees every problem as a nail.
Terry Gain says
Rittenhouse was not filling in for the police. He used his rifle to save himself when he was attacked. You are rarely right and this is no exception. You blew it.
Wellington says
Seconded.
And Rarely calling people burning down a city and threatening death to someone like Kyle Rittenhouse “demonstrators” reveals far more about Rarely than he will probably ever realize.
Infidel says
What when the police stand down due to a vilification campaign by half the country, leaving citizens to fend for their own? Either Rittenhouse ‘filled in’ or his friend’s (second!) business would have burned!
2020 should have taught us about the usefulness of the Second Amendment. In fact, to an extent, so did 2016, when a lot of Americans bought guns in response to BLM protests in several cities, including disabling the police. In fact, after the pogroms against Hindus in both India and Bangladesh, there is a growing number of Indians who think that India too should have an equivalent of the Second Amendment, whereby citizens can defend themselves when ruling governments and police turn rogue
Also, when ‘demonstrators’ is a euphemism for thugs/rioters, ‘open season’ on them is very much justified
Only thing you said right was the prosecution blowing it, by
‣Withholding the high resolution video from the defense
‣Trying to use Rittenhouse’s silence against him (which got a severe rebuke from the judge)
‣Aiming a gun at the jury while falsely claiming that one doesn’t have the right to self defense when one goes out carrying a gun
‣The claim that he had no business being there, crossing state lines, when it happens to be the city where his dad lives
Rarely says
How noble of him to run to the defense of his father’s town. Perhaps, now that he’s free, he can amass a group of like minded “heroes” to travel the country to fill in for the police whenever they are not living up to his expectations.
Rarely says
BTW I don’t care what you call it — call it a riot if you wish– but he had no business being there in the first place. Once there, armed with a semi-automatic assault rifle, the less than peaceful outcome of his being there was virtually assured. He certainly wasn’t going there to try and calm the situation down. What do you think was his purpose and what do you think was going through his mind?
Infidel says
Rarely
I dunno about Canada, but in the US, every American has a right to be anywhere in the country, not merely in his own state. If that right weren’t there, Republicans would have every right to demand that people be obstructed from fleeing states like CA or NY, and thereby bringing their ideologies w/ them
It’s not a question of police not living upto ‘his expectations’. They were just not there at all, due to the threats from not just BLM and Antifa, but the Democrats as well. Nature abhors a vacuum, so when a city becomes lawless, don’t be surprised when there are good people brave enough to stand up to the thugs that you implicitly support
somehistory says
The *prosecutor* needs to lose his license to practice law. He made the claim to the jury/Court, that when a person carries a gun, he gives up his right to claim self-defense.
That is just one reason he should have to find a new career…one where he can do no harm.
Wellington says
This helps explain why I have come to detest the Democratic Party. It needs to be no more. It is now an enemy of America. Any decent people who remain Democrats (Sinema? Manchin?) should cease being Democrats because the party is beyond saving.
Terry Gain says
Yes. I said the same thing earlier today.
Westman says
It should be obvious the goals of leftists include destroying the historical foundations of the US -no lie is too big – and creating an environment where they can write a new US Constitution – one with their “approved” (lesser) rights, no reference to God, and an open invitation to dilute sovereignty.
The US is in an undesirable battle with internal malcontents to maintain its very soul. It was no accident that every Kinosha “victim” had a criminal record. Half of the rioters probably had one. Imagine life under a new US Constitution written to please criminal influence.
Terry Gain says
I salute Robert Spencer for an excellent summary of this seminal case, however I disagree with the last paragraph. I think that the malicious and unhinged prosecution of an obviously innocent young man and the reaction of the MSM and prominent leftists to a completely justified acquittal will make it easier for Americans to see leftists in their proper light and give them the courage to defend themselves and their cities just like Rittenhouse did.
I hope Kyle Rittenhouse sues every prominent politician, especially, Brandon, and mainstream media organization and talking heads, especially Joe Scarborough and Joy Reid, which accused him of being a domestic terrorist, a white supremacist or a vigilante and that at the end of the day he is a billionaire. As a result of these morons viciously lying about what he did he was will likely require armed protection for decades and perhaps the remainder of his life.
Infidel says
You’re forgetting that the Left in the US has 13 more months to do whatever damage they want, until a new Congress is elected and sworn in. Every boondoggle so far that the Left has pushed has passed the House, and the only reason it didn’t pass the Senate has been Manchin and Sinema. Not just that, there have been 19 GOP defectors to the Left – including McConnell – and 13 in the House. GOP primaries next year are gonna be very important
RS is therefore right in saying that those of us who want to defend our freedoms will have to fight fiercely for at least those 13 months
Terry Gain says
Infidel
I’m not forgetting anything and I don’t underestimate the evil nature of the Democrat party. Leftists invested heavily in destroying Kyle Rittenhouse and they lost. He will emerge as a hero and is proof that the Left can be defeated if the Right has the courage to fight back.
I am confident that the Republicans, as weak as they are, will regain both the House and the Senate in 2022. The more the Democrats over play their hand in the next 11 months the worse the result will be for them. I agree with you that the GOP primaries in the 2022 elections are very important.. I expect America First candidates to dominate.
Wellington says
I am confident, Terry, that the Republicans will regain both Houses of Congress IF the elections are fair. Big “IF’ however because there is no low too low for the bulk of the Democratic Party to stoop. After all, Democrats en masse said NOTHING about the violence perpetrated in 2020 by their tacit allies, BLM and Antifa, both thug groups. Indeed, you had Kamala Harris bailing out these thugs in Minnesota and that wretched woman, Nancy Pelosi, saying amidst the rioting in 2020, of which there were over 500, “I don’t know why there aren’t more uprisings, maybe there will be.”
If you can justify the despicable antics of BLM and Antifa, stealing elections is no big deal. Let’s hope this does not occur. It certainly did in 2020.
Infidel says
All that is well and good at this time next year. How about the 11 months b/w now and November 1st next year?

The “protests,” of the not guilty verdicts, happening in Portland, have been declared “riots.” Of course, they always were

There was a demonstration here in Oakland last night over the verdict (planned before the verdict was even announced). I worried it was going to turn into a riot, as so many of these things have–but it looks like everybody got bored and went home early. Not many showed up for it, either.

Good to hear, g. Some other places not so quiet as that, but hopefully, they’ll all get tired of spending their time being so violent and useless.
Walter Sieruk says
It’s amazing. It’s really more than amazing. It must be an actual miracle that in which in the now politically correct infected US Court system a declared just verdict of “Not guilty” which cleared Kyle Rittenhouse of all wrongdoing, as it should have done. It was so very obvious the Mr. Rittenhouse was only action in self- defense that he shouldn’t have had been put on trial in the first place.
Those so called “protesters” to the law court righteous ruling, who having violent lawless temper tantrums that “They didn’t can their way” are really rioters, they hooligans which they have exposed themselves to be by their own criminal behavior, they are only showing their own primitive uncivilized mentality by behaving so terribly.
For people who are intelligent, civilized, and decent and good don’t act or speak threating words and do care about truth.
In contrast those violent and threating vicious and violent criminal ruffians, who have the gall to call themselves “protesters”
Terry Gain says
Walter
The Court System is infected with political correctness but it was only a small part of the Court System that rightly aquitted Kyle. It was a jury of his peers. Yes, this is part of the court system but it had to overcome the rot which is in charge. The January 6 political prisoners are the best example of the rot,
James Lincoln says
Rittenhouse cleared of all charges!!!
I had been following the case closely, relying on a truthful analysis by Tucker Carlson. The prosecution had no case, but proceeded nonetheless – in some cases likely illegally.
I really wasn’t sure how the case was going to turn out, as the mob was already fired up. It will be interesting to see how the Leftist propaganda media tries to spin this.
And Biden is a total disgrace. I hope that Rittenhouse goes after not only him, but also some of the Leftist propaganda “news” outlets.
tgusa says
The mob is fired up and honoring convicted kidnapper Anthony Huber and child rapist Joseph Rosenbaum as we speak.
Well, there you have it.
Infidel says
Rittenhouse did the world and America a favor by sending them to kingdom come! Regardless of whether he ‘should’ have been there or not

Supposedly, this is a ‘free country’ where people can travel at will and go where they wish to go, when they wish to go, with whom they wish to go to see whom they wish to see.
No law said he was not allowed to go there.
During the riots in Ferguson, after the white police officer had to fight off the black thug who was trying to take his gun, and shot him in self-defense, it was found that a lot…a whole lot…of people from out of state were there to loot and burn the town down.
Why weren’t they ever arrested, charged and prosecuted?
Infidel says
Not just that, if it’s not okay for Rittenhouse to be in Wisconsin, where his father lives, can we object to Liberals fleeing NY, CA, NJ and other blue dumpsters for states like TX, FL, AZ, NV, ID and threatening to flip them like they did CO?
tgusa says
When leftists demand the de-funding of police. When leftist politicians demand that the police stand down. When the fbi refuses to confront the organized leftist mobs. When citizens are forced to defend themselves against the leftist mob. That is how you end up with agent Rittenhouse, the young man without a badge. Leftists are not playing with a full deck.
tgusa says
The post acquittal leftist rhetoric validates Kyle’s defensive actions. If you find yourself in the middle of one of these leftist mobs you would probably feel like Mel Gibson’s character in the movie, Mad Max.

somehistory,
From another site. The double jeopardy clause, included in the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution, provides protection against being prosecuted again for the same offense after being acquitted, convicted, and/or punished for the same offense.
The Fifth Amendment provides defense against Double Jeopardy but considering that democrats are anti- Constitutional worms I wouldn’t put it past them to try.
gravenimage says
Rittenhouse won’t be tried again–We are not that far gone yet…
He will probably be sued, though–but this is a civil, not a criminal matter.
tgusa says
gravenimage,
It is clownish that democrats would call for a civil case supporting the un-civil rioters who want to burn the Constitution to the ground.
somehistory says
tgusa,
The government has long held that they can try a case in Federal Court and in State Court…for the same crime, using the same evidence.
They have done it many times, whether or not it is lawful…they have done it.
And recall the case in FL when ‘bo’ was putting his illegal feet on the desk in the WH and Zimmerman shot the black thug who was beating his head into the sidewalk? The doj was working on trying Zimmerman again in Federal court after he was acquitted in FL State court.
It happens. I wouldn’t put it past them to try, but even biden is saying it’s over.
Any federal prosecutor who decides to take Rittenhouse to court is a fool.
somehistory says
It would be stupid to try to sue Rittenhouse since he was acquitted in criminal court and there was plenty of evidence to support the self-defense claims he made. No evidence to support a civil case against him.
Any attorney who would take such a tort case would be an idiot.
gravenimage says
tgusa, I didn’t mean I thought he should be sued–just that he is not apt to be criminally tried again.

I didn’t think you did gravenimage. You have my apology for any misconception I might have unpurposely inferred.

If you want equal protection under the law = white supremacist.
If you don’t want to be beaten to death by the mob = white supremacist.
It doesn’t matter what your skin color race or ethnicity are, if you agree with the things written above, you are a white supremacist. There are many more things that could be added to that list. Feel free to add yours. Leftists have become a menace to civilized society. The leftist media are similar to a congress of angry baboons. You could also call the leftist media the lynch mob media.
I would imagine that it takes a huge amount of self control if your loved ones or friends are treated in a way such as Kyle has and is being treated. I don’t know how a person could remain calm in that situation. I’m pretty sure I couldn’t.

Pretty much, tgusa.
