The Muslim Brotherhood is an important tool for Erdogan, who is using his status as an influential world leader to further his aim of drawing the Islamic ummah together. According to the Cairo Review:
Turkey has promoted close cooperation with non-governmental organizations from the Muslim world, worked to revitalize the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, hosted dozens of international conferences attended by prominent religious figures as well as secular intellectuals/academics from the Middle East and Southeast Asia, undertaken numerous renovation projects of Ottoman heritage, and delivered various forms of international humanitarian aid—primarily to Muslims in need. Through the AKP’s and Erdoğan’s efforts to strengthen their historical ties with the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamic religious movements, Turkey has become a hub where transnational Islamic religious opinion makers can meet and discuss common problems.
Erdogan’s commitment to and support of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) is well established, as is that of Qatar. Using the MB as a vehicle, Erdogan’s goal of a revived Ottoman Empire is further in reach, since the MB is a global Islamic movement, with a specialty in infiltration. The MB is far more sophisticated than the crude jihadist foot soldiers of al-Qaeda, the Taliban, ISIS and the like, but its aim is the same: to establish the Sharia within its own territory of operation, and to expand it throughout the world. It is a highly deceptive movement, rooted in jihad, despite how its operatives may appear to outsiders. The MB becomes emboldened depending on the situation. Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt are examples of the group’s readiness and ability to wage armed jihad. “Jihad is the way” is the fundamental concept of the Muslim Brotherhood’s ideology, and its ultimate goal is the establishing “an Islamic state, world domination under Islam, the public and personal religious duty of military Jihad, and the warning not to rush to Jihad until it is prepared and timed for maximum benefit.” See more “in its own words” HERE.
The Muslim Brotherhood is insidiously rotting every Western institution from within. Its own Explanatory Memorandum for North America can be read HERE.
The mischief of Erdogan (and now his family) does not stop in Turkey. The Turkish government has been extending its outreach to Europe. Its Directorate for Religious Affairs, or Diyanet, has sent hundreds of Turkish imams to Germany and other European countries.
Naive Western politicians are easy prey for the Muslim Brotherhood everywhere, as is well known by its operatives and by Turkey.
“President Erdoğan’s family promotes Muslim Brotherhood ideology among millions of students in Turkey,” by Abdullah Bozkurt, Nordic Monitor, November 3, 2021:
Abdullah Bozkurt/Stockholm
Using an NGO run by his son, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has set out to make a Muslim Brotherhood (MB) generation out of the youth in Turkey, delivering books and jihadist literature written by MB leaders to young students enrolled in dorms across the country.
The clandestine plan, a copy of which was obtained by Nordic Monitor, was revealed when the secret minutes of a board meeting of the Turkey Youth Foundation (Türkiye Gençlik Vakfı, TÜGVA) were leaked. TÜGVA is led by Erdoğan’s younger son Bilal and receives generous financial and political support from the government.
At a top management meeting held at TÜGVA headquarters in Istanbul on November 29, 2016, the foundation’s administrators decided to distribute books by an Islamist publisher who has for years been promoting the Brotherhood ideology in Turkey.
The meeting, chaired by the then-president of TÜGVA, Ismail Emanet, a close friend of Bilal, authorized Azam Turan, the purchasing manager for the foundation, to ensure the delivery and distribution of the publisher’s books to each and every student dormitory administered by TÜGVA.
The publisher, identified in the minutes as Ravza Yayınları, sells translated versions of books by leading Brotherhood figures such as Hassan al-Banna, the founder of the Brotherhood, famous ideologues Saʽid Hawwa and Sayyid Qutb and many others affiliated with the MB network.
Ravza was established in 1989 by Mustafa Kasadar, an anti-Semitic, 56-year-old former teacher, to target young people in Turkey. Although the official company behind the Ravza trademark was changed several times, it has remained in the hands of Kasadar until the present day. According to the latest trade registry filings, a firm under the name of Yörünge Basım Yayım Reklamcılık Ltd. Şti. owns the publishing house. with Kasadar’s relative Ömer Faruk Kasadar listed as the owner on paper. In published books Kasadar was described as the editor-in-chief and Ömer Faruk the coordinator. The company manages its finances through Islamic lender Türkiye Finans.
The distribution of Brotherhood books in Turkish translation through TÜGVA’s direct access means that some 5,000 university students enrolled in TÜGVA’s dorms were subjected to religious indoctrination in line with the Brotherhood ideology. The foundation has 38 dormitories in various provinces and receives millions of Turkish lira in government funds thanks to the unwavering patronage of Erdoğan’s family. Similar projects were also launched by other organizations affiliated with the Erdoğan government…..

The fact is the Red Crescent, and virtually all islamic ‘charitable’ organizations almost exclusively serves muslims. If a non-muslim recieves aid, it’s by happenstance, and not design. Compare that to the Red Cross, which serves all groups, equally. The waterfall of aid from the R/C to Indonesia after the tsunami is a case in point.
These people care for no one but themselves. And, in fact, hold others in contempt, or worse.

I’d repeat my comment, which I made on the last thread from today regarding Erdogan, but I hate being redundant, and I’ve had so much steam coming out my ears already that any more and my whole head will collapse.

……………..
No surprise here–Erdogan is all about Islamization.

The muslim Brotherhood provides the Arabic support that Erdogan needs for legitimacy in claiming leadership of the ummah, while Turkey provides the muslim Brotherhood w/ actual sunni support, barring which they’d have to get their support from shi’a Iran. It’s worth noting that muslim Brotherhood and Iran were in opposite sides of the civil war in Syria
