My latest in PJ Media:
“Senior administration officials,” their names carefully kept off the record, held a teleconference Monday to provide background for Biden’s handlers’ National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan’s upcoming trip to Israel and the Palestinian Authority. In doing so, they demonstrated yet again that they have no understanding of the real issues underlying the Israel/Palestinian conflict, and in their determination to reassert their tainted expertise and undo Trump-era advances, they risk plunging the region yet again into bloody conflict.
The administration officials spent a great deal of time emphasizing their friendly contact with Israeli officials, and even paid lip service to “building on the Abraham Accords,” claiming improbably that doing so “has been a central focus of ours.” However, their focus on restoring ties with the Palestinians “that were nearly severed when we entered office in January” betrays Biden’s handlers’ determination to restore failed Obama-era policies that only encouraged Palestinian terrorism, often at U.S. taxpayer expense. There was a great deal of focus on the “humanitarian situation” in Gaza, and “getting support into Gaza for the people of Gaza,” with no attention at all paid to the fact that any “humanitarian situation” there is entirely self-inflicted, as so much of Gaza’s resources are devoted to the jihad against Israel instead of caring for the people of the region.
The Obama-era assumption that the obstacles for peace were all on the Israeli side was very much in evidence. Asked if the administration is “planning on maybe stepping up the pressure [on Israel] even more than has been done before,” the “senior administration official” answered: “Well, I think we’ve been pretty consistent in emphasizing over the last 10, 11 months, you know, the need to avoid steps that can increase tensions on the ground, and that includes settlement activity. And we’ve been engaged with the Israeli government at senior levels on this issue, and, we think, in a fairly constructive and honest manner.”
There was no question, meanwhile, about putting any pressure on the Palestinians. Nothing was said about genocidal jihad indoctrination in Palestinian schools. Nothing was said about the frequent incitement to violence on Palestinian television. Nothing was said either about Palestinian efforts to undermine Israel in the global arena. The “senior administration officials” made no reference to the ongoing terror attacks and terror plotting against Israelis. They did, however, assure the assembled journalists that they have had “honest, constructive” discussions with the Bennett government about Israeli “settlements,” which are actually on land that belongs by right of international law to Israel only.
There is more. Read the rest here.

Look at that face. Yes, look at Jake Sullivan’s face.
I would contend no more need be said.

Israel should simply announce that Jake Sullivan is not welcome in their country, and deny him a visa, like they did for Ilhan and Rashida 2 years ago. Then the US pretense of being a ‘mediator’ would be blown to bits

Biden’s Handlers Risk Escalating Israel/Palestinian Conflict in Their Haste to Stick It to Trump
……………

The best thing would be to give up the two-state solution. Probably the Palestinians do not want it, or they would have accepted the past 5 or 6 offers. Maybe it would be better to continue pressuring the Palestinians to change their attitude, recognize Israeli’s right to exist and start demonstrating their willingness to accept the right of Israel to exist. The liberal attitude is that somehow the Palestinians are willing to accept a two-state solution, but it is mainly Westerners who believe in that ideal solution. Jordan could be encouraged to give the Muslims the part of the Palestine Mandate that it took. The example of the Gaza strip suggests what an independent Palestine would be like. It would become a staging ground for more attacks on Israel.

The “two-state solution” would be at best a stepping stone to Muslims trying to wipe out Israel.

For some reason, the picture of Jack Sullivan with a schoolboy cap on his head keeps popping up in my head.
The credulity of Biden’s officials regarding the Israeli/Palestinian conflict is beyond belief. The Arabs calling themselves Palestinians hate the Jews not because of the creation of Israel in 1948, but because they are Jews.
Why is that so? Because the prophet of Islam told the Arabs through the angel he borrowed from the Jews that they, the Jew are “the strongest enemies of Allah”.
And just as their so-called prophet told them that he would get rid of the Jews of Arabia, although he did not live long enough to make it happen, his successor, Umar did it for him.
The same desire is deeply rooted in the hearts and minds of present-day Palestinian Arabs. To get rid of the Jews “from the river to the sea”. That is the real reason they have never missed an opportunity to miss an opportunity since the days Abba Eban spoke those prophetic words.
The Palestinians don’t want a two-state solution. They want it all!
And they will continue to sabotage any attempt to resolve the most intractable conflict in the world today.

“The Palestinians don’t want a two-state solution. They want it all!”
100% true – every square inch.
Yet Western leaders refuse to understand this fact.

Grimly spot on.

Jake Sullivan needs to understand that the Palestinians hate the Jews and want to drive them out of the Middle East. And they hate the Jews because Muhammad hated the Jews. And Muhammad hated the Jews because they would not accept him as a prophet, or his new religion, Islam, which was simply a perverted version of Paganism, Judaism and Christianity.
Muhammad had hoped that the syncretism he created with those earlier faiths would encourage their followers to convert to Islam – particularly after he accused the Jews and Christians of changing their scriptures, killing the prophets and disobeying God. But when they continued to reject those claims, Muhammad became angry – particularly at the Jews – and declared,
“Indeed, we are disassociated from you and from whatever you worship other than Allah. We have denied you, and there has appeared between us and you animosity and hatred forever until you believe in Allah alone” (Quran 60:4); and,
“I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslim.” (Sahih Muslim, Book 019, Number 4366).
The fact that Muhammad or his successors were never able to wipe out the Jews completely, has been a thorn in the Muslims’ side for 1,400 years. Those pesky Jews just keep on going – and in recent times from strength to strength!
But ignorant Western politicians who don’t understand that history – or are aiding and abetting the Muslim cause – continue to believe that a two-State solution to the problem will work. Do they imagine that if Judea and Samaria are ceded to the Palestinians, they will not become another Gaza? Despite their continued rhetoric, the Palestinians don’t want a two state solution either. They also want a one State solution – but it would be “Palestine – from the river to the sea”!
