My latest in PJ Media:
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday issued a statement protesting against “the military activity of the United States and NATO member states along the perimeter of Russia’s borders, including military flights and dangerous manoeuvres by naval ships.” The statement from Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova asserted that “the US military and its NATO allies have gone from attempts to test the strength of our border protection system to provocations against civilian aircraft, which jeopardises the safety of the airspace and puts human lives in danger.” This leads to the inevitable question: what is Old Joe Biden trying to do? Why are he and his handlers risking a major war with one of the world’s foremost powers?
The seriousness of the situation cannot be overstated. The Foreign Ministry statement continued: “In connection with these provocative actions, on December 8, the US Embassy in Moscow received a note of protest warning about the dangerous consequences of this reckless behaviour.” How reckless? “The note enumerates recent incidents which did not end in tragedy only due to sheer luck and the quick thinking of Russian pilots and air traffic controllers.” As of this writing, the State Department has issued no response to the Russian Foreign Ministry’s allegations.
The Foreign Ministry statement came a day after Biden’s video call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which Biden threatened Putin with severe economic consequences if Russia invaded Ukraine. As A.J. Kaufman noted, Putin was clearly not afraid of Biden; the whole world knows that the president of the United States is weak, confused, and not even really the one who is in charge. Were Biden’s handlers trying to counter this near-universal impression of weakness by engaging in these provocative actions along the perimeter of Russian airspace? If so, it’s a stupid way to go about it. Biden’s handlers could provoke a war with a formidable power while our woke military is busy purging “white supremacists,” i.e., dissidents from the regime’s agenda, from the ranks and busying itself with social engineering instead of figuring out how to win wars.
The Russian communiqué added that “the unacceptable and dangerous activities of the aircraft operated by NATO member countries, with US and NATO military aircraft flying without radio communication or flight plans and failing to obtain air traffic control clearances, are fraught with serious risks to the safety of civil aircraft, which violates basic principles of international air navigation under the Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation of 1944 and other international laws.”

For years, on most of my interviews with American talk shows I asserted that Russia is NOT a threat to Europe or the USA as long as BOTH adhere to the agreement between R Reagan and M Gorbachev that none of the Eastern European republics become part of NATO Threatening Russia.
Unfortunately, this is exactly what both the USA and Europeans have been doing thus threatening the security of Russia. They are the ones who are being aggressive NOT Putin
Under this completely useless administration with the utterly clueless Biden in charge, any miscalculation with Russia will result in a humiliating DEFEAT to both Europe and USA since neither have the will and enough military resources – short of MAD nuclear war – to defeat what Russia has prepared at the Ukrainian borders.
In fact, the USA and EU should endeavour to bring Russia into the Western alliance to face the Chinese Colossus that threatens BOTH in the 21st century. I do not believe there is a single leader in either USA or EU who has such an idea.

They have to reverse every Trump policy! Trump did fine by just arming Ukraine to the teeth, and letting them fend off Russia. So much so that the Russians were finally forced to come to a ceasefire in the Donbass and freeze the concept of Novorossiya. Biden had to break that, and now he’s scrambling to save Ukraine, including sending our troops there
‣ Will those troops who’ve refused to be vaccinated be sent there, or will that be waived?
‣ Since the Russians are white, I’m guessing that the military’s study of ‘White Rage’ might, just might, conceivably work against them. Except that so are the Ukrainians, so what will be their rationale for supporting them?
Aside from this, I agree w/ Russia. NATO’s borders are getting increasingly close to Moscow, and that would make any country nervous. Remember how President Kennedy reacted to Soviet missiles in Cuba, and our capital is nowhere near Florida. Right now, Belarus is the only buffer b/w NATO and Russia, and so Moscow has a right to be nervous. As for the idea of NATO always being in the right, I stopped seeing that ever since the bombing of Serbia in the 90s, as well as the continued presence of Turkey in this ‘alliance’
Rather than send US troops in, US leaving NATO while continuing to arm Ukraine is the way to tell Putin that we’re not a threat to him, but we won’t allow him to be a threat to the Ukraine. Oh, and let’s drop the pretense of us being the ‘good guys’: no longer true given that western countries are increasingly resembling communist regimes while Russia has more freedom of expression, even if it’s limited politically vis a vis United Russia

Perfect for China. Now it can attack Taiwan, possibly support North Korea attacking South Korea, and work to detach the Ryukyus from Japan while the USA is preoccupied in a European war.

Does Biden Want War with Russia? Russia Protests U.S. ‘Provocative Actions’ Over Black Sea
…………
I actually think that Russia’s threats to attack the Ukraine if they dare consider moving towards the West is a bad thing. Not sure Biden is the man to take a strong stand against this, though, sadly…

I’am not sure Biden knows where he is yet alone what he wants. But his handler probably wants him to do something that makes him look like a world leader. Russia has been the number one enemy since Trump announced he was running for President. Seems like the natural thing to do, as they can always blame Trump if it fails.

Well, since the polls on alleged president biden and the democrat party and the swamp in general are tanking; I wouldn’t put it past them to engineer an international incident with some country. In that situation, US citizens tend to rally around the president and party in power and help them in the 2022 elections. After all only a few thousand of those hillbilly, Confederate Flag waving deplorables who are the grunts in the military services would die; who cares, if it gets us elected?
