“Kill them wherever you find them” (Qur’an 2:191, 4:89; cf. 9:5).
“Kurds find mass grave of Islamic State victims in Iraq,” AFP, December 16, 2021:
Kurdish forces in northern Iraq find a mass grave containing the bodies of at least 11 Iraqi policemen presumed killed by jihadists, a peshmerga security official says.
“A mass grave was discovered on Thursday in the Duraji area” where there are many caves once used as hideouts by the Islamic State group (IS), the official says.
Duraji is in Salaheddin province in an area disputed between the federal government and the autonomous region of Kurdistan.
“The bodies of at least 11 Iraqi police officers have been taken from the grave so far” since the operation began in the morning, says the official. “We think they had been prisoners of IS in 2018,” the official says, adding that both peshmerga and Iraqi federal police were taking part in the search.
He says the mass grave was discovered as a result of “information obtained from IS hideouts in the region where the jihadists imprisoned members of the Iraqi forces they captured.”

And one must not also forget the 11 million or more Africans (70% women) enslaved by Muslims, from the 7th century until 1900.
Plus 3 million East Europeans enslaved by Muslims for some 300 years (circa 1480-1780).
Plus 1 million West Europeans:1500-1800.
For Leftists who hate Christianity so much,in the name of human rights,ok,the ROMAN Empire slave trade was minimum 4X WORSE,
than the TRIANGULAR slave trade (1441-1820)(Africa,Europe,New World) in which 12 million Africans were transported.
The Roman Empire slave trade overwhelmingly enslaved CAUCASIANS.In his book “The Forgotten Slave Trade:the White European Slaves of Islam”(2021) by Simon Webb,
he looks at what came before. He quotes scholars D’ARMS and KOPF in their 1980 study. It turns out that:
1.In the Roman Empire there were 10 MILLION slaves(20% of the population).
2.A slave lived an average of 17 years,so each year 500,000 NEW slaves ( due to conquest mostly) had to replace them.
3. Calculate and in 25 YEARS of the Roman Empire: it is 12.5 MILLION enslaved, and you get 50 MILLION in 100 years of the empire. All Far,Far worse and in a Far Shorter than what happened to Africans.
Leftists hate Christianity, and they could say:”Look, the STOICS,one of the MOST popular philosophies in the empire, said “All men are equal”!”
Christianity is useless.
Ok,well, 2 of the 3 Most Famous Stoic philosophers of the empire and history held POLITICAL power, they could have started or at least in WRITING began an ABOLITIONIST movement,
down with the slave trade, down with slavery.
They did NOT,they were: SENECA and Emperor MARCUS AURELIUS.
Stoicism was not inspiring enough to begin an abolitionist movement.

Islam is *still* enslaving victims.
The Roman Empire, whatever its crimes, not so much.

1. Yes,that is true since in the Quran slavery is indirectly approved of forever,in sura 24:33
a slave can be freed, but only if the MASTER Approves of IT. Freedom is Conditional.
2. Also, in book after book you read,”According to Islam Muslims could NOT enslave other Muslims”.
That was true later on but in the Quran there are Several Passages where it is allowed for a Muslim to OWN another Muslim as a slave, like in sura 4:92:
“a. And never is it for a BELIEVER (Muslim) to kill a believer except by mistake.
And whoever kills a believer by mistake – then
the FREEING of a BELIEVING SLAVE (Muslim slave ) and a compensation payment presented to the deceased’s family [is required] unless they give [up their right as] charity.
b. But if the deceased was from a people at war with you and he was a believer – then [only]
the FREEING of a BELIEVING SLAVE; and if he was from a people with who you have a treaty – then a compensation payment presented to his family and the FREEING of a BELIEVING SLAVE.”
About Stoicism,it was a noble philosophy, many, many, many in the elite of the Roman empire were stoics but for some reason it could not inspire an Abolitionist Movement, even though:
1.Zeno,its founder, in his book “The Republic”( not to confuse with Plato’s “The Republic”), tells it readers to become CITIZENS of the WORLD.
2.Even though Zeno had said “all men are equal” because they are all born with a touch of divinity, the “divine spark”.
3.Even though Zeno said there is NO Life After Death, and NO Miracles Happen, Zeno’s philosophy was PROACTIVE.
He said Stoics had to Improve Society, the World,in favor of PUBLIC PARTICIPATION in POLITICS to make a better world.
Yet,it was not inspiring enough to create an abolitionist movement.

I forgot to add that the Stoics, not Zeno, but later on, also had as part of their philosophy the GOLDEN RULE or Law of Reciprocity.
The Golden Rule is the essence or basis of Human Rights.
Here are the Stoics who asserted it:
a) “Act by everyone, in the same manner
as if you supposed yourself to be him, and him to be you.” — Hierocles, Fragments
b) “Treat your inferiors as you would be treated by your betters.” — Seneca, Letters, 47
” “You must expect to be treated by others as you yourself have treated them.”
We receive a sort of shock when we hear such sayings; no one ever thinks of doubting them or of asking “Why?”” Seneca— Letters, 94
c) “What you avoid suffering yourself, seek not to impose on others.” — Epictetus, Fragments ( he was an EX-SLAVE, Greek)
Here he uses the Golden Rule to CONDEMN SLAVERY:
“You avoid slavery, for instance; take care not to enslave. For if you can bear to
exact slavery from others, you appear to have been yourself a slave.
For vice has nothing in common with virtue, nor freedom with slavery. As a person in health would not wish to be attended by the sick nor to have those who live with him in a state of sickness ;
so neither would a person who is free bear to be served by slaves, nor to have those who live with him in a state of slavery.” — Epictetus, Fragments
