Asylum — n. The right of any Muslim to settle anywhere, be paid forever for not working, and not be punished for whatever they do. Linked to multiculturalism and jihad. See also: represent, community, violence, racism, privilege, critical, peace, diversity, extremist. — Standard Newspeak Lexicon.
I smell an EU rat inside a Russian doll.
According to the disingenuous EU, sending thousands of “migrants” (let’s not call them ‘Muslims,’ or, Heavens forbid, ‘muhajirun’) to break into Poland is Aleksander Lukashenko’s revenge for the EU imposing sanctions on the dictator for usurping the last elections in Belarus, issuing a bomb hoax, highjacking an international airliner, and kidnapping two passengers. The events are true, but the narrative — how shall I put it? — has holes in it.
What has been underway on the Polish border with Belarus is not a migration crisis, let alone a humanitarian one. On the surface, all sides present this as a border/migrant/humanitarian crisis, with the EU side saying that Lukashenko deliberately precipitated the crisis on Poland’s border. This is true, but there is a lot more to it than that. Russia/Belarus, for their part, accuse the EU of violating its own humanitarian preaching by not allowing the “migrants” to pass through Polish territory to Germany. Poor Lukashenko is just doing what any right-minded person would do: help people in need. Keep an ear out for this “people in need” drum.
“Migration crisis” is a narrative that suits both sides. Unfortunately, none of it is true. The truth, I propose, lies hidden inside a series of Russian dolls. Poland is a problem for Vladimir Putin, all that NATO hardware on Polish soil being a little too close for comfort. The former KGB lieutenant colonel might have got the idea for this plan from Turkish President Erdoǧan, who pulled the same stunt against Greece in March 2020, and waited for the right opportunity to strike, the installation of Joe Biden as US President providing just that opportunity. But Poland is also a problem for the EU, arguably much more so than for Russia. You do not deny a member state financial support for strengthening its border if you want its border strengthened. But if you want such a member state’s border to be violated, you deny it support and you make your denial public. This is exactly what the EU has done. I am not going to insult the EU by suggesting that this action is ineptitude on the its part.
Putin seeks geopolitical advantage over NATO, and to that end, needs easier access to his bristling arsenal that is the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad. From this Baltic, former-German city, it is easy to blockade NATO’s Baltic members and lay waste to several European capitals, including Warsaw and Berlin, but the exclave, in turn, is wide open to blitzkrieg from surrounding NATO territory, especially Poland, including blockade from the Polish port of Gdansk. The Poles see Russian shenanigans in Ukraine and have every reason to be on their guard for any trouble that Putin and his sidekick Lukashenko might create in Poland. It is only a matter of whether Ukraine is a distraction from Kaliningrad, or Kaliningrad is a distraction from Ukraine. My gut feel is that the massive Russian troop build-up on the border with Ukraine is a prelude to military action in Poland.
“Lukashenko has shown to us the weakness of the migration and asylum system.” Are you kidding me?! Muslim rape gangs running amok for decades in several EU countries shows the asylum system is strong? Fifteen jihad mass murder attacks in the EU in 2021 (a very quiet year) proves the asylum system is working just fine? Jihad attacks on churches now a regular feature of the European cultural scene tells us that the asylum system is in good nick? Municipalities buckling under the financial strain of supporting thousands of Muslims who refuse to work illustrates that the asylum system is great? The Muslim prison population is way out of proportion to their numbers in the population, and this in the context of massive under-arrest and under-incarceration of Muslim offenders (as the Shari’a commands) confirms the asylum system is just tickety-boo? Poland refuses to reward those who destroy her border installations and physically attack her soldiers with the prize of asylum, and now we can see the asylum system has a weakness. Exactly how stupid are European citizens expected to be?
We have heard there was a survey in Poland [asking] whether the Polish government should help the people in need and the refugees—the migrants—on the border. 82% were actually in favour of this. Only 13% were against and 5% didn’t have an opinion on this. So I think we should also take into consideration that the public opinion is not generally against people in need, against people on the border, and I hope we’ll find a European approach where not just Frontex is invited and being active there and looks for scrutiny and transparency, but also [European Asylum Support Office] EASO, the European asylum organisation from Malta, because we have to find a solution that also puts the focus on the humanitarian aspect. We should also take care of the people—I would say the majority of the people. If we do not just show the pictures and use military rhetoric, I think we will find places and we will find enough people who show empathy and who would be ready to take care of the people who ask for asylum in the European Union.
The Polish government is quite correct to keep Frontex, the EU’s border agency, well away from its border, seeing Frontex’s involvement as a ceding of their sovereignty. Frontex’s job, I suspect, is not about securing the EU’s external borders, but about enabling safe passage across it. Similarly, Poland has done well to deny NGOs and the toxic media access to the border. As Italy learnt to its cost, the media, NGOs and the EU ‘asylum policy’ agencies are hybrid war instruments par excellence. Not for nothing does Viola von Cramon-Taubadel tout EASO. It exists to facilitating illegal entry into the EU. Hybrid warfare this certainly is, but who is fighting on which side?

Anjuli Pandavar’s first sentence in this piece is simply marvellous:
“Asylum — n. The right of any Muslim to settle anywhere, be paid forever for not working, and not be punished for whatever they do. Linked to multiculturalism and jihad. See also: represent, community, violence, racism, privilege, critical, peace, diversity, extremist. — Standard Newspeak Lexicon.”
I am adding this drole definition to my personal dictionary. (Thanks for the smile)

Yes–agree with Mortimer. Brilliant, Anjuli!

Russia already has Belarus, and would just need a corridor through Lithuania to access Kaliningrad. It would be a far more expensive undertaking for them to try to use Poland, rather than Lithuania, to access Kaliningrad. Also, Russia doesn’t have geopolitical rifts w/ Sweden or Finland, and both countries are in a Baltic alliance w/ Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania
I do think that it’s a matter of time before Belarus gets re-annexed to Russia, given how Lukashenko has been holding on. That is important for the security of Moscow: any superpower having its capital and largest city right near its borders w/ a hostile alliance is asking for trouble. If NATO ever got Belarus, Moscow would be accessible by their tanks and humvees

Infidel, Russia believes that they have the right to continue to oppress any land once under the heel of Russia or the Soviet Union, and especially hate Poland for her fight for freedom in the 1980s.

God bless the people of the world who are willing to standup against the Muslim/Islamic migration invasion of their country. Poland has every right to determine who enters their country, it is their home.
America has always welcomed refugees and migrants who came legally to our country. That didn’t mean that we let everyone enter. This illegal migration must stop or we will be destroyed from within by people who come to destroy our society and or take advantage of our charity. Just because we once welcomed migration doesn’t mean we have to do it for ever. I vote we protect our society and country from those who hate us and want to take advantage of us. Common sense.
