My latest in PJ Media:
In the course of a speech about the omicron variant Thursday, Old Joe Biden gave us yet another shining example of his razor-sharp mental acuity. “Now, I don’t like to, uh, uh, you know, ugh, outline the next steps we’re taking against, uh, I’d, I’d like to outline the next steps we’re taking against ova — uh, the omicron variant.” The spectacle of an aged man trying desperately to maintain his train of thought amid encroaching dementia would have been sad if it had been anyone other than this corrupt old kleptocrat, who is pretending to be president of the United States. But it did render all the more urgent the inevitable question: how long is this going to go on?
How long is this going to go on? The Democrats hope that it will go on until Jan. 20, 2025, when they can replace the even more disastrous vice president with someone who at least appears to be more competent. Then the 25th Amendment can be invoked against Old Joe, and Hillary Clinton or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez or whoever the Democrats decide to inflict upon us next can take over and finally end the charade.
Biden, however, does not look like a man who is going to hold the most important and difficult job in the world for another three years, even in his diminished role as a front man for the people who are really running things. Old Joe’s doctor, Kevin O’Connor, wrote last November that “President Biden remains a healthy, vigorous, 78-year-old male, who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the president, to include those as Chief Executive, Head of State and Commander in Chief.” But who really believes that? Biden’s lapses have become too numerous and frequent even for his supporters (all 81 million of them, we’re told) to ignore. Although, given how Kamala Harris has torched her own reputation in the last year, his supporters will continue to ignore them as long as they possibly can.
There are so very many examples of Biden’s deteriorating condition, and more come in all the time. Last October, while fielding softball questions from CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Biden lost the thread in mid-sentence: “Forty percent of all products coming into the United States of America on the West Coast go through, S- uh, Los Angeles and – uh, um, and uh, um, uh, um, what am I doing here?” Cooper then helpfully supplied the other place products come into: Long Beach.
Also in October, Biden said, “You know, if I can digress for just a second, last night I was on the television — uh, television, I was on the telephone …” Speaking in Illinois, Biden struggled to introduce the officials who were present: “And the Ohio Pennsylvania — the Ohio Pennsylvania, I’m from Pennsylvania — the, uh, the Illinois president of the — Don Harmon, State Senator Laura Murphy, State Rep, uh, um, Martin Mor-, uh, Martin Moylan…”
There is more. Read the rest here.

I’d think that the Dems have a problem for the rest of this term. I don’t think Joe will get renominated in 2024, so at that point, the Dems may actually allow there to be a free primary w/o the party elders interfering in the process. Or they may try and catapult Gavin Newsome to the top, assuming that he gets re-elected governor of California, now that the Cuomos are done
However, they do have a problem at least this year. Once the GOP wins in November, you’ll have a deadlock, and at that point, he hopefully won’t be able to do any more damage. Of course, it does require some states cleaning up their election procedures

Biden, Infidel, can still do a lot of damage by way of Executive Orders (EOs) which of course will not will be of his origin but by those handling Biden behind the scenes like Klain, Rice, Biden’s horribly selfish wife, probably Obama himself, et al. EOs are essentially a way around the legislature and, in effect, serve as an example of the executive branch legislating. So are presidential agreements which Obama engaged in with the Iran nuclear deal as a way of not having to submit the putrid deal as a treaty before the Senate where a two thirds majority would have been constitutionally required and which Obama would have never received.
The Presidency can become a de facto monarchy at times. It did with Lincoln during the Civil War but that was an exigent circumstance that required such (and thank God it was Abraham Lincoln). FDR sometimes operated this way (e.g., incarceration of Japanese-Americans). But now we have a mendacious, incompetent dud who is entirely beholden to his “betters” and those “betters” will ignore Congress if it turns Republican, which itself is problematical because, as Mollie Hemingway details in her new work, “Rigged,” Democrats find one way or another to make sure elections are “won” by Democrats. They did in 2020.
Infidel says
Yeah, although those EOs do have to be done while Congress is out of session, or hasn’t already endorsed or rejected such a measure. If Congress rejects or specifically prohibits something, he can’t issue an EO to simply override them
Here in Virginia, our new governor issued 11 EOs yesterday, all pretty good, and our AG has fired the entire ‘Civil Rights’ part of the justice department, all CRT clerics
Wellington says
I know of no constitutional restriction, Infidel, that Congress has to be out of session or has either endorsed or rejected what the EO is about. Courts can review an EO and even disallow it on constitutional grounds but Congress to my knowledge has no power to thwart an EO EXCEPT by disallowing any funding that might be required to implement it.
Remember, Congress endorsing any measure has no force of law (unless specifically noted in the Constitution such as when Congress is to meet) because, whether an act or a joint resolution, a President’s signature is necessary. Simple resolutions and concurrent resolutions (neither of which requires a President’s signature) have no force in law precisely because a President hasn’t signed it.

What more does a President need to say? Come on, man. You know the thing.

What a charade!

The KABUKI president. But I hand kudos to Robert Spencer for his rousing summary of this old ham actor on the stage:
“The spectacle of an aged man trying desperately to maintain his train of thought amid encroaching dementia would have been sad if it had been anyone other than this corrupt old kleptocrat, who is pretending to be president of the United States.” – Robert Spencer
This raises the question of who is actually in charge of the presidency, since this old, bumbling fool is obviously no more than a puppet used to distract the public from the conspiracy that is going on behind the scenes.

The situation of the US Presidency unbelievable. It’s too shocking that this could come about ! Criminal mendacity at the deepest level. I haven’t got words… the “power behind thrones” doesn’t get more sinister.

Not just pathetic. And not just evidence of selfishness by the Biden family (“Dr.” Jill my butt). But also very, very dangerous.

If this was any other elderly person, they would have been quietly retired and possibly put into a home to live out their days meeting new friends every day. And it would be cause for compassion, nobody wants to end their days in this manner.
Biden however is at the helm, allegedly, of a super power with a huge military, nukes and making decisions that effect millions of people.
This is scary stuff.

He almost said that the trouble was coming from the Oval Office….and not from a virus labeled this go-around, “omicron.”
“…the next steps we’re taking against the ***ova***….”

So, according to the feature article:
“Old Joe’s doctor, Kevin O’Connor, wrote last November that “President Biden remains a healthy, vigorous, 78-year-old male, who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the president, to include those as Chief Executive, Head of State and Commander in Chief.””
Back in my US Naval flight surgeon days, I had performed thousands of flight physicals on naval aviators and aircrew.
At the end of the physical, I would send over to the “flight ops” department a memo (up or down chit) which was my recommendation regarding flight status.
If a flight surgeon recommends an up flight status for someone who does NOT meet the physical and mental requirements, and that aviator is involved in a “mishap”, the liability would come back onto the flight surgeon.
That being said, Dr. O’Connor should actually be held liable for the poor decisions made by Joe Biden that were due to his dementia.
But he won’t be…

Joe Biden has, again, exposed himself to be a feeble-minded idiot.
This strongly indicates that he’s just a “President ” figurehead as well as just a puppet “president” who is just used and manipulated as a tool for others who are actually in high positions of power to fulfill their goals who are very insidious sinister but much more intelligent than their stooge and useful idiot, Biden.
Walter Sieruk says
Three other words to define “Wanting” are “Deficient” and “inadequate” and “lacking.”
Related to this Benjamin Franklin had printed in his periodical POOR RICHARD’S ALMANAC “Where sense is wanting, everything is wanting.”
Joe Biden with is incoherent rambling has shown his feeble-mind and outright no common sense.
Biden is deficient to handle the terrible problem of the coronavirus in America. Even though in the summer of 2020 he promised that he, as President, would eliminate COVID -19.
Biden is inadequate to make America more safe from crime and Islamic terrorism, he even made crime ans the threat of Muslims terrorism in America worse with porous US/ Mexican borders, as well the spread of the coronavirus throughout the United States.
Biden is lacking in the wisdom and knowledge to advance the US economy , he even made America’s economy worse with his socialism and also made many American lose their much need job’s.
Biden is a disaster for America and the American people.
James Lincoln says
Walter Sieruk says,
“Biden is a disaster for America and the American people.”
Yes, but also for the rest of the free world.
Peter WF says
I hope he at least makes it to the end of his term.
James Lincoln says
Peter WF,
He’s only 25% through his term.
With his increasing dementia, is unlikely that he will make it – even with his handlers doing their very best to prop him up…

The old saying of ” what you sow, so shall you reap” has never applied to the present administration in DC as it does now…………That’s IF the pervert really did get those 81 million votes!

Sadly with old Joe gone we get Cackles Harris as a walk-on president.
