“Many of these individuals are inspired by a personal and individualized blend of beliefs and grievances. And we’re finding that, more and more, the ideologies that are motivating these violent extremists are less coherent, less linear and harder to pin down.”…
Malik Faisal Akram’s ideology was quite clear and coherent. But it is one that American authorities are determined to ignore.
Note also Sanborn’s use of the term “violent extremist.” She won’t say “jihadi,” because she pretends that Islam is peaceful and doesn’t want to offend Muslims. So she has recourse to the more general term, “violent extremist,” which is vague enough to be used against any enemy of the state, including me, despite the fact that I advocate solely for Constitutional freedoms and have never been violent or advocated or approved of violence. Sanborn uses the term in a justifiable manner here, but it remains a term that is being used to silence and crush dissent from the regime’s perspective and agenda.
“Top US security officials to US Jews: Colleyville was a ‘terrorist attack on Jewish community,’” JTA, January 22, 2022:
Top United States security officials told Jewish Americans on a pre-Shabbat call that the attack last Saturday in Colleyville, Texas, was a “terrorist attack on the Jewish community” and that authorities are continuing to investigate how the British Islamist who held a rabbi and three congregants hostage got into the country.
The webinar on Friday at noon, organized by the White House, drew at least 5,000 viewers, White House Jewish liaison Chanan Weissman said at its outset. It was designed in part to reassure Jews that they could attend services this Shabbat. Among those speaking was the Temple Beth Israel rabbi held hostage during the 11-hour crisis, Charlie Cytron-Walker.
It also was clearly aimed at rolling back the impression conveyed in the immediate aftermath of the attack by an FBI official that authorities were not treating this as an antisemitic attack.
“While there is still a lot of unknown details, we are committed to thoroughly investigating Saturday’s attack,” said Jill Sanborn, the executive assistant director of the National Security Branch of the FBI. “Let me be clear: The FBI is and has been treating Saturday’s events as an act of terrorism targeting the Jewish community.”
Sanborn said the FBI was looking through phone and other electronic media to track why the hostage-taker specifically chose the synagogue.
“This was not a random occurrence,” she said. “It was intentional and it was symbolic. And we are not going to tolerate this antisemitism.”
“In recent years, we have seen a transition mostly to lone actors or small cells who [became] radicalized online [and] use easily accessible weapons to operate attacks on targets, just as we saw last weekend,” she said.
“Many of these individuals are inspired by a personal and individualized blend of beliefs and grievances. And we’re finding that, more and more, the ideologies that are motivating these violent extremists are less coherent, less linear and harder to pin down.”…

“radicalised online”: Of course, it has to be anonymous and not linked with any mosque anywhere. That is all part of the narrative.

They are “finding” what they wish to find. They don’t wish to admit that it is all islam.
The whole thing is islam. Based on islam, to further ilsam, to force the beliefs of islam, to demand the commands of islam be followed, to force respect for all things islam, and to make sure no mozlum anywhere is subjected to a frown, and that no mozlum anywhere is made to feel unwelcome, and that all mozlums everywhere can break any laws intended to make life safe for society.
and the part that they don’t wish to admit: mozlums want the rest of us to stay silent regarding the evil, the terror, the rapes, the murders, the lies, because to speak about these, to complain about these, or to object to these, is a fake “phobia.”
Michael Copeland says
The FBI’s statement is a carefully constructed lie.
They would be quite unable to substantiate any part of it:
“more and more” … “ideologies” (plural) ….”harder to pin down”.
These are, in reality, the opposite of the FBI’s experience.

So, Jill Sanborn, the executive assistant director of the National Security Branch of the FBI said.
“Let me be clear: The FBI is and has been treating Saturday’s events as an act of terrorism targeting the Jewish community.”
She should have also added that the FBI is prohibited from saying that it has anything to do with islam.
At least she would then be honest with the American people.

Apparently they are also looking for a terrorist called Gandalf and his Hobbits!

When you don’t recognize the problem you can’t fix it or prevent it. Not recognizing that islam is at the center of most terrorist attacks and activities is not going to help fix the problem or issues.
