Turkey, emboldened by Biden’s handlers’ weakness, is more aggressive than ever.
“Direct threats from Çavuşoğlu to Greece: ‘They are sponsoring terrorists, they will pay a heavy price,'” Greek City Times, January 22, 2022:
Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu launched direct threats to Greece and Cyprus on Thursday after his meeting with the Estonian Foreign Minister, accusing the two countries of sponsoring the Fethullah Gülen movement (FETO) and the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).
“They use and put forward terrorist organisations to fight us. As Turkey, we have reached the point of solidarity with countries with which we have had the worst relations, in order to fight terrorism,” Çavuşoğlu said.
“We also know that the PKK and the DHKP-C [Revolutionary People’s Liberation Party/Front] were trained in Greece and carried out attacks against us,” said the Turkish Foreign Minister.
When speaking about the arrival of illegal immigrants from Turkey, he said “Greece is playing with fire with their hospitality.”
“I want to say this: they allow them to have delegations there. For this purpose, if there is an attack from their side towards us, they will pay a heavy price,” Çavuşoğlu procatively threatened.
In the same vein, Çavuşoğlu spoke of the presence of the PKK in Cyprus, threatening Greek Cypriots by saying that “they will pay for it” if there is an attack against Turkish Cypriots.
“Let them not play with fire,” he said….

Turkey today announced a 4 day power shutdown for pretty much all organized industrial parks. This will put over 20% of the people out of work. Inflation north of 40%, GDP shrinking by 5% or more. Turkey is a basket case. Threaten all they want, their economy is falling apart.
mortimer says
Turkey should have been dismantled at the end of WWI when the Turkish Empire was on the ropes. It could have been broken up among the various ethnicities in the region following the principles of Woodrow Wilson that were imposed on Europe’s empires. That would have kept Turkey from ever returning as a threatening power. Turkey should never have been given control of the strategic straits between the Black Sea and Aegean. Leaving Turkey with so much territory ensured its return to being a formidable regional trouble maker.

The Ottoman Empire *was* broken up–probably not far enough, though.

Boycott Turkey says
Yia sou Greek Empress there where 3 deaths today in Cyprus I heard that Its gone High in Greece Cyprus is not as bad as Greece maybe more need to be vaccinated to bring the deaths down. the worse virus in Cyprus at the moment is in the North illegal Turkish occupation worse then covid
Infidel says
So many things I’ve heard and read about being worse than Covid 1984: Communism, islam, Turkish occupation… the list goes on. Only thing – the vaccine is no longer useful against Covid, since it’ll just cause newer variants to emerge. Omicron itself is the ultimate cure that will finish off this virus, and make it an annual endemic

“Omicron itself is the ultimate cure that will finish off this virus, and make it an annual endemic”
That’s certainly possible.
Right now, it’s virtually impossible to avoid the Omicron variant which is incredibly contagious but – as predicted – less virulent than the Alpha and Delta strains.
My wife, daughter, and I all caught it over Christmas time and recovered fully.
We all previously had the two dose Moderna “jab” (due to risk factors) and recovered fully after about five days of moderate cold / flu-like symptoms. How much the “vaccine” helped, we’ll never know.
And those infected by Omicron will develop very robust natural immunity.

So far, what have you heard about the Deltacron? Does it combine the lethality of Delta w/ the infectiousness of Omicron, or does it combine the containment of Delta w/ the mildness of Omicron?
James Lincoln says
Infidel,
I did a fairly thorough search regarding your question about “Deltacron”. I only found one “seemingly trustworthy” article from nature.com that severely questions whether or not “Deltacron” is a new variant – or merely lab contamination.
I could not find any references in standard peer review medical journals.
I’ll keep a lookout.

Thanks. Have been hearing about this, and if it’s true about combining the most dangerous aspects of both Delta and Omicron, then everyone’s fate is pretty much sealed

James, so glad you and your family have recovered. After two years of not knowing anyone personally who had goitten Covid, in the past few weeks there have been a whole slew of people. Disturbing. I’m getting my booster on Friday–not sure how much it will help.

the nazi sultanate of the ottomaniac chalifate has gebels tactics in its every day statements against greece, which shows the intentions of the sultanate against any sovereign coyntry that neighbours them….
the sultanate amongst their threats and aggressive retoric, has declared a pirattic exclusive financial zone that has nothing to do with the international maritime law according to which the zone and the hydrocarbons belong to greece….
they have set their army next to the greek islands at battle positions for at least five years now… they have converted the monument of christianity the hagia sofia in constantinople, and many other archeological christian temples of the byzantine empire into mosques…. they have a casus belli on greece for extending its coastal zone to 12 miles (a right which is given by international law to all countries), they have made an organised invasion similar to the one in poland in 2019 on national holidays of greece, they violate the hellenic aerospace daily with armed f16s and drones, they violate the sea zones that belong to greece and move on to massive fishing at greek water, they harass the greek fishermen daily, and much more…
they have been creating crises and instability in the mediteranean constantly…
every day that passed there is another provocation another verbal attack another type of invasion or violation…
turkey is responsible for the largest ammount of immigration in greece and around europe and has filled us with illegal immigrants that ravage the country daily… they refuse to enact the european turkish agreement according to which they must accept immigrants back…
the turkish planes fly armed over greek islands almost every day…
turkey has ordered every terrorist attack that has taken place in europe since 2010… they are the main influencers of the islamic population that has invaded europe and their intelligence is involved in promoting terrorism in europe…. they have trained many of the illegal immigrants that have invaded europe into city warfare and criminality warfare in turkey before they send them in…
all these hordes of islamic settlers belong to turkey….
further more turkey is funding arming and supporting most of the jihad in africa…. they invaded armenia and are behind the whole of the war in syria and iraq where they commited a modern genocide against the christians of syria and iraq…
they still occupy and arm half of the greek cypriot island on which they have transported endless armies to bully and control the remaining of the greek cypriot genocide back in 1974…

What’s this, a Muslim saying that non-Muslims are sponsoring terrorism. These Muslims, and Muslim leaders such as Erdogan, are such lying pieces of crap. Muslims surely must provide 90% plus of all terrorists in the world. Anything that creatures like Erdogan say, the truth is bound to be the complete opposite.
Infidel says
Yeah, projection on a national level. The country that was the bridge for western jihadists to join ISIS is complaining about support to terrorists. Beyond rich – pretty priceless!
tim gallagher says
Yes, such lies are outrageous, Infidel. But I guess the population of Turkey, and other Muslims elsewhere, believe all this sort of garbage, and want to believe such lies about those nasty infidels in Greece, from Erdogan, who seems like some kind of power crazed creature.

The Turks are destroying their country and their future by voting for maniacs and fanatics. They need politicians who care about the day-to-day practical considerations of Turkish citizens, rather than ideologues who only care about their absurd, backward ideology and pipe-dreams of world empire.

OLD GUY says
It is really too bad that our political leaders don’t seem to give a dam about the average person. They always promote these lofty ideas of power and grandeur and their idea of themselves ruling society instead of working for the people who put them in office. According to them it is always another countries fault that their poor economy or living conditions exist and never take the blame for their mistakes or poor leadership.
Sadly it is all about GREED at the top of the food chain, the average human being on earth could care less about what I believe or do. They want to live and raise their family in a safe environment. It’s those who want to control and dominate the average person who are the problem.
Teaching your citizens to hate another group or country never works out in the long run.
