Yet Islamic apologists and their feminist allies in the West insist that hijab is a choice. Who is misunderstanding Islam here? The apologists and their allies will say either that Dar is wrong, or that a difference of opinion on this issue manifests the glorious diversity of Islamic thought. The only problem with that diversity is that it hasn’t extended to untold numbers of women and girls who have been threatened, brutalized, and even killed for thinking they had a choice not to wear hijab.
“Court not properly assisted on Quran; hijab mandatory in Islam: Petitioner,” by Poulomi Ghosh, Hindustan Times, February 24, 2022:
As the Karnataka high court is hearing the hijab case for the 10th day on Thursday, senior advocate AM Dar, appearing for the students of the New Horizon College, submitted that hijab is mandatory in Islam, and the court is not being properly guided on Quran, the advocate said, as quoted by Livelaw. Countering arguments made in the court that hijab is not mandatory is Islam, advocate Dar said hijab is the last commandment from Allah. “It has come in 4 hijri, by the time Quran was complete,” the advocate said.
“First commandment from Allah is daily five prayers. It is a different thing if every Muslim follows it. Second is zakaat. If Muslim persons are rich, then they can give zakaat. Third is ruling on inheritance. It is defined in Quran and it is obligatory. Fourth is fasting,” he said adding that the 5th is Haj.
“Hijab word is not there in Quran: The term refers to partition, in the literal meaning it is some kind of partition. Hijab is mandatory. Even the wives of prophet would wear it. I will read the suras,” advocate Dar said….

So, all of the females who ****must**** wear the scarf of slavery and “please don’t rape me” infamy, can go live in a country where they are **forced** to wear it everywhere. Try afghanistan or pakistan…wherever they need to even wear blankets to work or just to walk on the streets.
Wouldn’t that be an improvement over life in India? (don’t take this question wrong, please…but if they have such complaints in India that they are causing extra riots, deaths, etc. over a piece of cloth, then they evidently are not happy there and should find a mozlum stinkhole an “improvement.”)

They just want to turn India and every other part of the world into an Islamic crap hole.

India isn’t governed by the koran, nor by Islam!
Let those girls go to Pakistan, which was created for Muslims!

The most bizarre thing here is that the lawyers doing the petitioning are not muslims themselves, yet they are using quranic arguments as though the quran has any standing in any Indian court. The judges hearing this are too stupid to dismiss these motions w/ the contempt they deserve, but Indians, who have been witnessing anti-hijab activists getting murdered, should step up and start making the lives of these advocates miserable. Force these muslim groups behind these moves to hire muslim lawyers, and let them make their case to the court

India: Lawyer for students demanding to wear hijab in school says hijab is mandatory in Islam

……………
Muslims use whichever arguments most aids in the spread of Islam, on a case by case basis. So cynical.
Mark Spahn (West Seneca, NY) says
“First commandment from Allah is daily five prayers. It is a different thing if every Muslim follows it.”
I am having trouble understanding this second sentence. It seems to be saying, “If every Muslim follows Allah’s first commandment to pray five times a day, then Allah’s first commandment is different (from a commandment to prays five times a day).” So what does Allah’s first commandment then become?

Mark, I believe this means that this is mandatory even if not all Muslims follow it. Ergo, even though not all Muslims pray five times a day this is still considered mandatory, and the same re wearing Hijab.
This is trying to short-circuit the argument that not all Muslim women wear Hijab, even when they can.

All hijabis should be sent to a country where hijab is a part of Muslims woman s . They are free to leave India. Other wise next they will tell Jihad is mentioned 164 times in Quran to kill Kufirs and it is their right
