The UN has been pleading for the international community to dole out aid to Afghanistan for “humanitarian” reasons, when that aid is going straight to the Taliban.
Although media photo-ops have showcased the Taliban at the negotiating table with the UN, which has softened its tone with the Taliban, the Taliban remains the same brutal jihadist group it always was.
The UN has also delivered promises that it can’t keep, “ensuring numerous safeguards so as to keep these funds out of the hands of the Taliban,” but the UN and anyone who believed that the Taliban would change and become “moderate” was, not unexpectedly, duped.
There was never any logical reason to think that massive global donations would go anywhere except into the Taliban’s coffers.
Now the jihad group is getting funded as it continues its reign of terror, savaging religious minorities and women. Meanwhile, Taliban leaders will continue to smile in photo-ops at negotiating tables, as part of their deceptive marketing scheme for more “humanitarian” funds that they will use to further their own agenda. Lying and deception are signature traits of the Taliban and in fact, of jihadists everywhere, yet all too many Westerners believe them.
“UN says over 100 ex-Afghan and international forces killed,” Associated Press, January 31, 2022:
The United Nations has received “credible allegations” that more than 100 former members of the Afghan government, its security forces and those who worked with international troops have been killed since the Taliban took over the country Aug. 15, Secretary-General Antonio Guterres says.
In a report obtained Sunday by The Associated Press, Guterres said that “more than two-thirds” of the victims were alleged to result from extrajudicial killings by the Taliban or its affiliates, despite the Taliban’s announcement of “general amnesties” for those affiliated with the former government and U.S.-led coalition forces.
The U.N. political mission in Afghanistan also received “credible allegations of extrajudicial killings of at least 50 individuals suspected of affiliation with ISIL-KP,” the Islamic State extremist group operating in Afghanistan, Guterres said in the report to U.N. Security Council.
He added that despite Taliban assurances, the U.N. political mission has also received credible allegations “of enforced disappearances and other violations impacting the right to life and physical integrity” of former government and coalition members.
Guterres said human rights defenders and media workers also continue “to come under attack, intimidation, harassment, arbitrary arrest, ill-treatment and killings.”
Eight civil society activists were killed, including three by the Taliban and three by Islamic State extremists, and 10 were subjected to temporary arrests, beatings and threats by the Taliban, he said. Two journalists were killed — one by IS — and two were injured by unknown armed men.
The secretary-general said the U.N. missions documented 44 cases of temporary arrests, beatings and threats of intimidation, 42 of them by the Taliban.
The Taliban overran most of Afghanistan as U.S. and NATO forces were in the final stages of their chaotic withdrawal from the country after 20 years. They entered Kabul on Aug. 15 without any resistance from the Afghan army or the country’s president, Ashraf Ghani who fled.
The Taliban initially promised a general amnesty for those linked to the former government and international forces, and tolerance and inclusiveness toward women and ethnic minorities. However, the Taliban have renewed restrictions on women and appointed an all-male government, which have met with dismay by the international community.
Afghanistan’s aid-dependent economy was already stumbling when the Taliban seized power, and the international community froze Afghanistan’s assets abroad and halted economic support, recalling the Taliban’s reputation for brutality during its 1996-2001 rule and refusal to educate girls and allow women to work.
Guterres said: “The situation in Afghanistan remains precarious and uncertain six months after the Taliban takeover as the multiple political, socio-economic and humanitarian shocks reverberate across the country.”…

“The Management of Savagery” – the title of an Islamic State handbook – expresses the Taliban’s modus operandi.
Keith O says
No real surprises here. The Taliban and their bum buddies ISIS as well as an other islamic terrorist group are lying sacks of crap that have no place in a civilised world.
Walter Sieruk says
The Taliban are murderers and they are also liars. To put it in another way, the Taliban are both serial killers and mass murderers combined as well as pathological liars.
That is what the Taliban are. This also leads to another question which is “Who are the Taliban ?” The answer is the Taliban warrior Muslim savages who are maliciously brutal cruel dangerous and murderous because the follow as bloody and deadly Qu ‘ran based Islam.
From all the new information gathered sad and reality is that the Taliban had quickly reconquered Afghanistan, The fact that the jihadists of the Taliban base their violent and deadly beliefs behavior entirely on the Qu ‘ran. This does lead to an important question: “Is the Qu ‘ran the Word of God or is it a fabrication of a man. Thus, is the Qu ‘ran the truth or a fiction and a hoax ?”
The jihadists, as those of the Taliban , use many verses from the Qu ‘ran as the main source of justification for their violence, mayhem and murders. As found in For example, 2:191. 4:89. 5:33. 9:5,111,123. 47:4. There, the answer is clearly given on pages 145 through 157 in THE ISLAMIC INVASION by Robert Morey in which he wrote a section on the Qu ‘ran with its self-contradictions. Just two of the many he cited are the following “The Qu ‘ran differs on whether a day is a thousand years or fifty thousand years in God’s sight’ and “Who was first to believe? Abraham or Moses [Sura 6:14 versus 7:143]?
The above is inconsistent and illogical. Further, Morey wrote about “The fact that Judaism and Christianity broke up into different sects was used in the Qur ‘an to prove that they are not of God [Suras 30:20-32. 42:13, 14]. Yet Islam has broken up into many warring sects and therefore cannot be true if the Qu ‘ran is right.”
Moreover, Morey in his book shows many more contradictions and absurdities in the Qu ‘ran, there are and how Muhammad incorporated extra Biblical and Jewish folklore along with pre-Islamic Arabian myth and parts of Zoroastrian and Hindu stories into the Quran.
Furthermore, the Muslims claim that “the Quran is the direct, literal word of God unmodified in any way by the Prophet who uttered them at the bidding of God.”
In addition , in the book UNVEILING ISLAM by Ergun Mehmet and Eethi Caner has shown that the Quran was modified in the following account on pages 45. “Muhammad felt the need to improve on the words of Allah, since he changed Allah’s wisdom for his own on several occasions. A hadith tells of the nonchalant emendations of Muhammad:’ On a number of occasions he [a scribe] had, with the Prophet’s consent changed the closing words of verses. For example, when the prophet had said ‘God is mighty and wise ‘ Adbollah b. Abi Sarh suggested writing down ‘Knowing and wise’ and the Prophet answered that there was no objection. Having observed a succession of changes of this type, Adbollah renounced Islam on the grounds that revelations, if from God could not be changed at the prompting of a scribe such as himself. After his apostasy he went to Mecca and joined the Qorayshites.’ Other writers reveal that later Muhammad and his people did go war with the Qorayshites and he personally killed Abdollah. Obviously Abdollah knew too much and Muhammad wanted Abdollah’s knowledge to die with him.”
In conclusion, the Qu ‘ran is not only a fiction, it’s also a hoax. therefore the foundation of the Taliban is a hoax.
Walter Sieruk says
No informed and intelligent person is so terrible naïve to trust any “promise” made by the Taliban. The disingenuous and outright lying Taliban can’t be trusted to keep their word.
It’s a foolish and gullible thing to trust in anything the Taliban might promise.
To put this in another way, if one of the Taliban chief or any Taliban member would someone that “It’s raining out” He or she would be wise to look out of the window before believing him.
Walter Sieruk says
All those murderous evils in Afghanistan would never have happened if that President Pretender, Joe Biden just threw away and totally destroyed nearly twenty years of progress accomplished by the blood sweat and tears and even the deaths of many Americans as well as those blood, sweat and tears of America’s allies.
Also Biden threw away more than trillion of the American taxpayer’s money that was invested in for the betterment and development of Afghanistan.
This tragic scenario didn’t actually have to had happen in Afghanistan because the generals of the Pentagon who are strategic military advisers to the President strongly counseled Biden not to have a sharp, sudden withdrawal from Afghanistan but instead have and start a gradual drawback of the US armed forces after September 11, 2021.
The problem was that the arrogant conceited and stupid Joe Biden refused to heed or listen to the wise council of the intellects of the Pentagon. Therefore is this complete catastrophe with the Taliban total takeover of Afghanistan.
In the ancient but wisdom filled book by Sun Tzu entitled THE ART OF WAR, it is written “He will win who has the military capability and is not interfered with the sovereign.”
That awful incompetent and probably even treasonous villain, Joe Biden, ruined everything.
Walter Sieruk says
Maybe that evil man ,Joe Biden, is proud of himself when he realized that because his awful terribly flawed Afghanistan policy , he therefore had a hand in enabling the Taliban to murder so many people.

UN says Taliban have murdered over 100 ex-Afghan and international forces, contrary to promises of tolerance
…………..
No one paying even the vaguest amount of attention here can be surprised by this.
OLD GUY says
And the UN believed the Taliban promise? I guess it might have been the assurances of the Biden handlers that swayed their decision.
Infidel says
The UN actually believed them?
The plan that Trump had of withdrawing was good, but the Biden staff did a fine job f🤬ing it all up. Now, it’s pretty much lost there: all sorts of Afghan splinter groups have their hands on those weapons, while the Americans who are stuck there are SOL. In fact, given how the withdrawal of people was done, had they evacuated nobody, they’d have done a better job
James Lincoln says
Infidel,
The only people who should have been evacuated would have been:
1. American citizens
2. American and any NATO servicemembers
3. Extremely well-vetted Afghans who had actually helped Americans.
Infidel says
Agreed, but given what they did, evacuating nobody would have been better than the evacuations that they actually carried out
