Islamic State Hind Province releases video of new recruits pledging jihad in India

When the the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant took the region by storm, it established a caliphate. After its fall at the hands of America and allied troops, it expanded its operations in Africa (notably in Nigeria, where it won the allegiance of a faction of Boko Haram calling itself the Islamic State West Africa Province, ISWAP), as well as in Afghanistan, where it is known as ISIS-K (Islamic State Khorasan or ISIS-K). It likewise grew in South Asia, calling itself the Islamic State Hind Province (ISHP). Western countries have also experienced attacks and threats from Islamic State loyalists who have been encouraged to commit jihad attacks in the West, including stabbings, suicide bombings, and vehicular homicide — whatever it takes to cast terror into the disbeliever (cf. Qur’an 3:151, 8:12, 8:60).

The Islamic State claims that they “have prepared at least three modules in India…..In the video, IS terrorist Abu Turab Al Hindi, says many boys have joined the Islamic State in India.” The three different groups (modules) of Islamic State jihadis have now pledged to wage jihad in India.

The video was apparently filmed in Kashmir.

Scholars at the European Foundation for South Asian Studies (EFSAS) have warned that Pakistan has long supported al-Qaeda, the Taliban and other jihad groups in Jammu and Kashmir. And now Pakistan has a “pivotal role in encouraging the rise and spread of ISIS in South Asia.”

Jihadists and Islamic supremacists often reference Jammu and Kashmir and the Palestinian territories as “occupied.” Of course, these individuals leave out the history of Islamic conquest, which includes the long and brutal jihad against India and Israel.

The Islamic State (IS) in a recent video claimed that they have prepared at least three modules in India. In the video, the Islamic State fighters are seen taking membership in 3 different groups. The 4-minute long video has been released by ISHP (Islamic State Hind Province).

The video was released on encrypted messaging platform Telegram at 1 pm on March 25, claiming that 3 different groups of IS fighters pledged jihad in India in the name of the IS caliph.

The fighters have their faces covered and their eyes blurred, to trick the intelligence agencies. The Islamic State has also changed the pitch of the people speaking in the video to prevent tracking.

In the video, IS terrorist Abu Turab Al Hindi, says many boys have joined the Islamic State in India.

Earlier, the terrorist organisation had been broken due to the swift action of NIA. The NIA, along with intelligence agencies, arrested more than 20 people in the last 2 years, thus failing their plans.

Cyber experts, who did the forensic analysis of the video, claim that the video seems to have been shot in Kashmir, while the video has been released on Telegram from Pakistan.

The most noticeable thing in this video is that all the terrorists who are seen to be subscribing to IS have small arms in their hands, due to which intelligence agencies are suspecting that this is a local module and their purpose is target killing. The video has been released after a spate of target killings in Jammu and Kashmir.

People from other states living in Jammu and Kashmir were targeted. After those killings, Islamic State claimed responsibility by releasing a video. All the killings were carried out through small arms….
