Lightheartedness is welcomed North of the border as Canadians grapple with the likes of Justin Trudeau who has managed to bully, insult, divide and oppress Canadians. This book by Derek Smith bears a resemblance to the Dr. Seuss classic How The Grinch Stole Christmas, as you can see from the excerpt below.
From Trudeau’s COVID overreach, his deplorable treatment of the truck convoy supporters, his fueling of racial and group divisions to irrational gun bans and extreme censorship, Trudeau is indeed the Grinch that stole Canada’s Freedoms. And like the Grinch, he makes sure to grab every last morsel he can get his hands on. Also like the Grinch, whose secondary antagonist was Max the dog, Trudeau’s helpmate is NDP leader Jagmeet Singh.
“FIRST READING: The Trudeau parody topping Amazon’s bestseller list,” by Tristin Hopper, National Post, June 8, 2022:
The number one book on Amazon Canada right now is a parody children’s book slamming Justin Trudeau’s response to Freedom Convoy.
How the Prime Minister stole Freedom – modelled loosely on the Dr. Seuss classic How the Grinch stole Christmas – follows the trials of a Trudeau-esque leader who is tortured by freedom-loving truckers invading his capital city.
The titular “prime minister” is depicted as a dim politician (“his brain was three sizes too small”) who schemes to seize the freedoms of the Canadian citizenry in a manner similar to the Grinch scheming to steal Christmas from Whoville. In true Seussian style, it’s written in anapestic tetrameter.
“From coast to coast the truckers drove through the snow and their small fringe numbers continued to grow. Then one day a trucker appeared in the town, with thousands behind them from miles around,” reads a passage describing the arrival of Freedom Convoy.
It’s written by Derek Smith, a Calgary-based full-time father of three previously best known to the internet as a vintage video game streamer.
As of Tuesday afternoon, How the Prime Minister stole Freedom was the number one top-selling book on Amazon Canada….
Dan says
Welp.
Smith just made, “The List.”
Dicktators CAN’T STAND ridicule.
PMK says
Parody is allowed in Canada? Who’d have guessed?
mortimer says
With Jihadi Justin in power, any critique of him will be prosecuted!
Keith O says
One wonders how long it will be till this book is on the “banned list” that every dictator loves to use?
PMK says
Probably not very long. Someone will decide it is ‘hate speech’ and not allow it in a public library.
mortimer says
Many Canadians believe Justin Trudeau is in cahoots with Facebook, Twitter and Microsoft and controlled by them. His PMO staff seem to come and go from those companies. The PMO controls the Canadian media through massive BAILOUT payola that keeps them promoting his lies and falsehoods. Trudeau’s cabal are fascist, but by controlling the media most Canadians haven’t seen it yet.

Anti-Trudeau kids book tops Amazon’s best seller list: ‘How the Prime Minister Stole Freedom’
…………….
Mockery is always a good response.
The book opens with this:
Every person in Canada liked freedom a lot,
but the Prime Minister, who ran the country, did not…
Wellington says
Wretched man, this young Trudeau. Worse than his father and his father was bad enough. Screw him.
And anyone still voting for his party or for the NDP, screw them too. Traitors all to Canada.
E T says
Justine’s father, an arrogant, commie, started to tear apart Canada, Justine, the arrogant, feckless, little liar, clown, global puppet is the closer.
Major Tom says
Too much treason in my lifetime………and no justice!
E T says
I love the book, it will give Canadians something to laugh about – a part from our pathetic, spineless, World Economic Forum politicians.
Remember who Yogi said.
Tom says
I bought one just to add to the numbers and to further embarrass Trudeau.
Everything helps in the fight to remove the Trudeau dictatorship.
E T says
Tom I do not believe you can embarrass Justine, he ain’t smart enough to realize what a fribble he is.

Tenacious – not readily relinquishing something; keeping a firm hold
persisting in existence of a tenacious ILLNESS – Covid – be fearful, wear a mask
Narcissistic – an excessive or erotic interest in one’s self (sock boy)
Bloviator – one who HABITUALLY bloviates, a POMPOUS, OPINIONATED, typically voluble commentator

Here is Justine telling Canadians how to save the environment
“We have recently switched to drinking water bottles out of aw…..water, when we have water bottles out of plastic….sorry….away from plastic to paper…..like drink-box, water- bottle sorta things.”
Let me be very clear “I NEVER voted for him or any other liberal.”
Tom says
My wife bought one just to have. Now we await the inevitable book banning by Trudeau, followed by our front door being breached by his brown shirted minions demanding “let me see your hands” so they can be sure we don’t have the book ready to read. Which would of course constitute a direct threat to their loyalty and could even be considered a threat to the national interest.
Ah, but such an act will not be tolerated because, as he is always telling us, Trudeau has only the safety and security of Canadians as his primary interest.
