A judge in Italy has convicted two young jihadists who plotted a terrorist attack using explosives, but let one go free and sentenced the other merely to house arrest. Wherever there are Leftists, pro-abortion activism, transgender activism, and work for climate change and open-door immigration all take precedence over national security (and the economy).
Alessia Ambrosi, regional councillor of the national-conservative Brother of Italy (FdI), slammed the judge’s ruling, and with good reason. A report released three months ago by Italy’s intelligence organization — il Dipartimento delle Informazioni per la Sicurezza (DIS) — backs up Ambrosi, stating that Italy remains “a major target of Islamic Jihadist terrorist groups, with the report noting that terror groups have spoken among themselves of attacking Rome.”
“Muslims planned attacks: one goes to house arrest, the other returns to freedom. It is controversial,” translated from “Islamici ideavano attentati: uno va ai domiciliari, l’altra torna libera. È bufera,” by Luca Sablone, Il Giornale, June 24, 2022:
Two Muslims planned to carry out an attack in Italy with explosive devices, but the very hard blow that was expected did not arrive: neither prison nor expulsion, simply house arrest for one of them. The other, on the other hand, is free. The hypothesis of a crime for a man and a woman is that of association for the purpose of terrorism or subversion of the democratic order, recruitment and training for the purpose of terrorism, including international ones.
The investigating judge of the Court of Rovereto (Trento) on 18 June ordered the measure of pre-trial detention under house arrest against the man, with the obligation of an electronic bracelet. This measure was deemed necessary to ensure that the suspect can undertake a path of deradicalization. For her, no validation of the arrest. The decision ended up in the center of a political firestorm since, in the face of such gravity, the disciplinary consequences should have been more uncompromising.
The storm breaks out
For Alessia Ambrosi, regional councilor of the Brothers of Italy in Trentino Alto Adige, such a choice “is scandalous.” For the exponent of FdI, this situation highlights not only the lack of the judicial system, but also the inability that should be guaranteed for the controls of foreigners: “The first terrorist will serve the sentence in house arrest to allow him to complete a path of re-education.” The accomplice, on the other hand, is given permission to return to freedom, with the risk of rescheduling another attack.”Obviously the point is not the work carried out by the Carabinieri del Ros and the Trento provincial command, but the level of measures adopted in the light of what has emerged. Elena Testor, senator of the League, warned about the dangers related to too large shirts in terms of citizenship: “With a law like the Ius scholae so much promoted by the left, these dangerous terrorists would have been Italians in all respects.” This is the demonstration that a law for easy citizenship can be very dangerous: “It could even endanger the security of our country.”
Plan
Both were born in Italy from families of Kosovar origin and appear to be inserted in the social, work and study context. They would have trained to carry out violent acts and would have planned to carry out an attack with explosive devices in Italy. All in the name of the terrorist organization “Islamic State” (IS). The criminal plans would have foreseen that, after having committed the attack, the two would have had to go to Africa. Here they should have joined the very same terrorist organization. The radicalization
For some time, the two had embarked on a path of radicalization through jihadist propaganda on the web. After carrying out all the searches of the case, computer equipment and chemicals, precursors for the manufacture of explosive devices, were seized. The material was delivered to the Scientific Investigations Group: the experts will carry out the technical assessments.“There has been a path of violent radicalization of the suspect who has gradually approached the ideology of the Islamic State up to the swearing of loyalty to IS in the virtual hands of a member of the Islamic State. This path leads him to take positions more radical “, explained the commander of the Ros, General Pasquale Angelosanto.
Who is the suspect
The man who ended up under house arrest is a chemical technician: the suspect, considering both his training and the workplace he attended, is able to “procure precursor chemicals for very dangerous explosive material”. The substances were “partially removed from the workplace”; the material was then “put aside in a storage place.” The chemicals would have been useful for explosive material. Sandro Raimondi, prosecutor of the Republic of Trento, made it known that “what was in dispute was partially admitted”.The defence
The defense, however, is keen to specify that the investigation is absolutely circumstantial and that, “according to this defense, the hypotheses of crime do not appear to be supported by adequate evidence.” The man allegedly “simply participated in some on-line conversation, confining himself to hypothesizing a trip abroad.” So the defense argues that he does not appear to have carried out preparatory acts. “Everything is based on the interpretation of conversations that have yet to be contextualized,” he adds.

A few years ago I was sitting with an old Indian friend at a Tea stall in Malaysia when this young muslim guy comes over, his older brother was friends with my Indian buddy, anyway the young muslim fellow just sits down at our table, uninvited, anyway, after asking me where I was from, UK, he them asks me if its true that ALL the men in the Europe are homosexuals…Once I stopped laughing and realized he was asking me a serious question as he looked at me with a quizzical look, I asked him where did he get such an idea from… He looks at me kinda puzzled and replies… Well it seems like you guys just dont stand up for what you believe in…
I rest my case…

We see this pattern across the West, judges handing out slaps on the wrist for very serious criminal charges.
Perhaps they’re terrified of the Muslim community and fear being targeted, or it’s the broader appeasement failed strategy being used by the Left, hoping being nice to them will cause them to like us. Or their idiotic ideological Lefty thinking is causing them to be lenient and not take the jihad threat seriously.
But once again it will be innocent people that will pay the price for this weak approach to Islam and Muslims. In fact we already have examples of Muslims raping women, being released and to go on and assault, rape and harm others until they’re caught again.
Frankly they should all lose their jobs, be jailed for not applying the law correctly and be replaced with strong judges who aren’t afraid of being very harsh with Muslims.
Also if they released someone that should’ve been locked up and they go on to commit other crimes, those just should get the same charge that’s on the books.

Italy: Two Muslims plot jihad massacre, one gets house arrest, the other goes free
………………………..
Suicidal insanity. They should serve prison time, then be stripped of their citizenship and deported to Kosovo.
