“Make ready for them all that you can of force and of warhorses, so that by them you may strike terror in the enemy of Allah and your enemy, and others beside them whom you do not know.” (Qur’an 8:60)
Note Hamdi Alqudsi’s use of the term “enemies of Allah” for those who seized his passport.
“Hamdi Alqudsi allegedly planned to attack navy base, courthouse and Mardi Gras in Sydney,” by Lauren Ferri, Herald Sun, July 18, 2022:
A Sydney man is accused of leading a “terrorist group” called the Shura, which allegedly made plans to attack the city’s navy base, a courthouse, the Mardi Gras parade and Israeli embassy, a court has been told.
Hamdi Alqudsi, 48, faced the NSW Supreme Court for the beginning of his trial on Monday after he was charged with intentionally directing a terrorist organisation which was preparing to carry out a terrorist act.
Crown prosecutors allege Mr Alqudsi directed the organisation between August 2014 and December 2014.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Mr Alqudsi first came to the attention of police in mid-2013 when he allegedly rallied men together to form a group called the Shura, meaning consultation council in Arabic.
Crown prosecutor Patricia McDonald SC told the jury he originally recruited people to travel to Syria to “fight against the commonwealth” including extremist jihadist groups and Islamic State (IS), and to collect money for men to travel.
However, “overt action by police” led to the plans being “handicapped” and ultimately stopped the Shura in sending men to Syria….
The Shura is believed to have changed its focus and allegedly became involved in “fostering domestic terrorism attacks”, the court was told.
Ms McDonald told the jury there was a proposal to “commit a terrorist attack” at Sydney’s navy base on Garden Island at Woolloomooloo….
They allegedly proposed to conduct a terrorist attack at a courthouse, while there were also “discussions about terrorist acts on the annual Mardi Gras event or parade”.
The jury was told the group discussed a possible attack on the Israeli embassy and on tourists….
She told the jury members of how the Shura allegedly gave a “pledge of allegiance” to IS and became “frustrated” when their plans to travel to Syria through Turkey were undone by police….
The jury was told Mr Alqudsi himself had plans to leave Australia and go to Singapore, but he was intercepted at the airport by Australian Border Force (ABF) officers, who told him his passport was cancelled.
When he returned home, he allegedly sent a text which said “God’s enemies denied me and seized my passport”….

Again demonstrating that Muslims in Western societies present no upside to such societies in the final analysis.
A Muslim-free West (minus a very limited diplomatic personnel and which personnel should be regularly monitored)) would be optimal. I don’t see how anyone who is sensible and knowledgeable about Islam could conclude otherwise.

100% true.
But what we are witnessing in the West are a large percentage of people who are NOT sensible and NOT knowledgeable about islam.

This got a mention on a radio news report here in Australia yesterday. I think that this case must have been around, dragging on for a long time, because I have seen this man’s face a few times over the years on the TV news, etc. In every country where Muslims (never Buddhists, Hindus, Christians) go, there are always too many people like this who are out to cause trouble, and always violent kinds of trouble. I fail to see how they are worth all this trouble they bring to our once safer, more peaceful societies. But I guess that the majority of people in our societies do still seem to think it is worth all this trouble which we didn’t previously have.
Wellington says
Instructive, highly, tim, that Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, agnostics, atheists—it’s a long list—cause virtually no problems because of their belief systems—religious, philosophical or otherwise. Overwhelmingly Muslims do however and which is why I continue to say to ALL adult Muslims, shame on you. Eternal shame.

I agree, Wellington. Nothing but trouble out of all proportion is all we get from islam. I suppose it all stems from the extremely nasty, hate filled content of islam. Of course, Communism and Nazism share the same evil nature. For Australia, and all the countries out in our part of the world, this stinking regime that runs China is going to be our biggest problem as it seeks to dominate this area and bullies all countries out here. I think most Australians realise that this is the case, a view shared by the Japanese, South Koreans, Filipinos, Indians and everyone else in this region. But getting along peacefully with Muslims always seems to be, pretty much, a completely futile exercise. Totally incompatible outlooks on life is surely the problem..

“What a fantastic contribution muslims make to this country!”
David Cameron

I can only hope, Michael, that David Cameron was not as hopelessly wrong on other areas, such as, say, the economy, as he was when he came up with this nonsense about the Muslim contribution to the UK..

He caused a condition called Cameronausea.
