How old are these “students”? The one with the full beard must be at least 20, maybe 25.
Note also all the “students” making the sign of allegiance to the Islamic State (ISIS): the upraised index finger. The signal of the index finger held up is, of course, used in myriad contexts, and Muslims in general have used it as a sign of allegiance to tauhid, Islam’s absolute monotheism. However, in recent years it has become very much associated with allegiance to jihad groups, particularly the Islamic State. This signal has been known to be a sign of allegiance to the Islamic State for almost as long as there has been an Islamic State. It has been described as the group’s “ubiquitous hand signal.”
It strains credulity to think that anyone who is remotely informed today would not know its significance as a sign of support for ISIS.

“Stavrophoros” uploaded a shocking video to his profile, where he shows Pakistani “students” in Greek schools!
This means that now our schools have also been “infested” by pro-Turkish Islamists!
The worst; The “student” proudly shows his dagger inside the school hall, while in another snapshot we see him “posing” in front of a patrol car of the Greek Police.

You’d think after 400 years of Ottoman boot on the neck, Greece would have learned not to allow Muslims in, especially with Turkey making aggressive moves on the airspace and islands.
So glad my ancestors got out of Anatolia while the getting was good. Great uncles and aunts, some were not so lucky.
Which reminds me—so happy to be here and be an American. Happy 4th of July to all here at JW.

Re-reading as I have, GreeekEmpress, John Keegan’s masterful “A History of Warfare,” he notes that pan-Hellenics like Lord Byron, who fought for Greek independence from the Ottoman yoke, became extremely disillusioned with the Greeks of the early 19th century, falsely thinking that they were a continuation of the greatness of mind and spirit which were the ancient Greeks. Alas, they were not—and even another pan-Hellenic and great English writer, Shelley, was fooled here.
As Keegan wrote, “But Philhellenes (like Byron) who shared a battlefield with Greeks not only rapidly abandoned their belief in the common identity of ancients and moderns; but among those who survived (of course, Lord Byron did not) to return to Europe, ‘almost without exception,’ writes William St. Clair, the historian of Philhellenism, ‘they hated the Greeks with a deep loathing, and cursed themselves for their stupidity in having been deceived’.
Seems most modern Greeks at the time were only interested not in noble ideals, a la ancient Greeks, but they simply wanted to continue their way of being “klepths”—half bandits and half-thieves.
All this I write to you because of what you have written, to wit, the modern Greek still hasn’t learned and remains a pale shadow of its former magnificent self.
Few really bright times in human history, GreekEmpress. Ancient Greece was one of them as was early America under the Founding Fathers. But most of the historical record is a record of stupidity and other negatives—like modern Greece or America over the past half century or so.
Best to you and yours. Take care.

Reply to Wellington: regarding ‘Keegan’.
Quotes from Part 1 – Greek Atrocities and Massacres of Turks During the Greek
Rebellion, 1821-1822:
“The Greeks began their rebellion in the Peloponnese on 6 April 1821 (by the Gregorian calendar-25 March by the Julian calendar) with the slogan: “Not a Turk shall remain in the Morea”, which inspired indiscriminate and murderous action against all Muslims.16 Upon hearing the news of the rebellion, some Greeks in the cities began killing their Turkish neighbours and setting fire to their property.13, According to the British writer William St. Clair, “The savage passion for revenge soon degenerated into a frenzied
delight in killing and horror for their own sakes”. Another British writer, David Howarth, observes that the Greeks did not need any reason for these murders, “Once they had started…they killed because a mad blood-lust had come upon them all, and everyone was killing”. 15,24
Massacres of the Turks
It is estimated that more than 50,000 Muslims , including women and children, lived in the Peloponnese in March 1821. A month later, when the Greeks were celebrating Easter, there was hardly anyone left. The few who managed to escape to fortified cities were suffering from starvation. Everywhere the unburied bodies of murdered Turks were
rotting. According to William St. Clair:
“The Turks of Greece left few traces. They disappeared suddenly and finally in the spring of 1821, unmourned and unnoticed by the rest of the world…Upwards of 20,000 Turkish men, women and children were murdered by their Greek neighbours in a few weeks of slaughter. They were killed deliberately, without qualm and scruple…Turkish families living in single farms or small isolated communities were summarily put to death, and their homes burnt down over their corpses. Others, when the disturbances began, abandoned home to seek the security of the nearest town, but the defenceless streams of refugees were overwhelmed by bands of armed Greeks. In the smaller towns, the Turkish communities barricaded their houses and attempted to defend
themselves as best as they could, but few survived. In some places, they were driven by hunger to surrender to their attackers on receiving promises of security, but these were seldom honoured. The men were killed at once, and the women and children divided out as slaves usually to be killed in their turn later. All over the Pelopennese roamed mobs of Greeks armed with clubs, scythes, and a few firearms, killing, plundering and burning. They were often led by Christian priests, who exhorted them to greater efforts in their holy work”.24
According to Steven Runciman, author of a history of the Greek Orthodox Church, “The great fathers of the Church, such as Basil, would have been horrified by the gallant[!] Pelopennesian bishops who raised the standard of revolt in 1821″.23 This was not a war of Greek independence or liberation, but a war of extermination against the Turks and other Muslims, and the main instigators of it were the Greek Orthodox Christian clerics.”
gravenimage says
Mortimer, your claim that Greece didn’t want independence from the brutal Turkish Muslim heel but just wanted to kill Turks is utter calumny.
Steven Runciman is notorious as a Muslim apologist, as you should know.
He denied that the Crusades had any defensive element, and characterized Crusaders as barbaric morons destroying supposedly sophisticated Eastern Muslim culture.
He hated modern Greece, and idealized the Byzantine Empire–and, much worse, he idealized her Muslim conquerors.
mortimer says
Muslims have irretrievably secured Anatolia from the ‘Rum’ (Rhomaoi) who will likely never return even if they want to return. The ‘Rum’ (Rhomaioi) are the indigenous peoples of Anatolia.
In 1921, Ottoman Rumelia (most of the Balkan Peninsula) was irretrievably lost to Islam.
Now the Muslim migrants entering modern Greece under the orders of the EU have decided, ‘We want Rumelia back … and we’re going to take it back.’
The EU has brought tens of thousands of jihadists into Greece. The result will be vandalism, a burden on tax payers and police, rape, theft and unending jihad until victory.
gravenimage says
All grimly true.
Wellington says
Proving again that there is no upside to Muslims in a Western society. None.
Compounding all this is that many non-Muslims in the West remain willfully ignorant about Islam (damn, they’re everywhere) and non-Muslim Leftists aplenty actually seek what the Muslim Brotherhood does, i.e., the destruction of Western Civilization from within. Oh yeah, an upside-down world we live in at present.
One last statement. Bush 43 to this day, as far as I can ascertain, still has not learned that Islam is NOT a religion of peace. I voted for him twice for President but now I have nothing but contempt for the man.
mortimer says
Wellington sees this clearly without fully understanding the framework of Sharia law which instructs the Islamic Meat Grinding Machine which chews up and digests whole countries and civilizations. This Sharia-instructed Machine is explained by Lloyd DeJongh here:

The ancient Greeks had a fascinating civilization and were great at creating magnificent architecture and sculpting beautiful statues. But really what can compare with the great pyramids or the huge statues of the ancient Egyptians? What they did is almost unbelievable but yet some of it still exists and we can see it right before our eyes. How did they move stones weighing 100 tons or more? Look up the Serapeum of Saqqara and explain how they built a couple dozen 70 ton boxes out of solid granite and then placed a 30 ton lid on top of each one … and arranged those boxes underground in rooms without enough space for the people or equipment needed to move them. Explain how they managed to carve out the insides of the stone boxes so as to have nearly perfect 90 degree angles using only copper chisels. What happened to the people who could do that? Why were so many of their amazing sculptures defaced by having the noses smashed? Nobody knows anymore. Could it all happen again and everything beautiful about ancient Greece be defaced or forgotten? Just take at look at who makes up the majority of the population of Egypt right now and you may find a clue to the answer The civilizations of ancient Egypt and ancient Greece were periods of ignorance and darkness? No, I don’t think so. I think the ignorance and darkness came from outside and it’s about to come around again.
mortimer says
To CES: There is no genetic connection between the ancient Hellenes and the modern citizens of Greece who are descended from the very heterogeneous citizens of the late Roman Empire. The ancient Hellenes who were exceedingly heterogeneous have vanished. Moreover, there is no genetic difference between the Southern Italians, Albanians and indigens of southern Greece since genetically they are all Rhomaioi or Roman-descendants, even though they self-identify as distinct ethnicities.
CogitoErgoSum says
Mortimer, that is what I am thinking also. I also suspect there was some kind of connection between the ancient Egyptians and the ancient Greeks, even before the time of Alexander the Great – forgotten long before the time of Alexander. I’m beginning to wonder if the great pyramids were not constructed thousands of years farther back in time than most scientists and historians currently believe and that the construction was done by another group of people who came before the people we call the Egyptians and who were definitely a different people than the ones living there now. There are too many clues that show the very precise stone cutting and construction work in Egypt (and other parts of the world) could not have been done with soft crude copper tools. Many things about ancient Egypt just don’t make sense. I think there is a period of mankind’s existence that was lost due to some great catastrophe and which has been completely forgotten. Mankind suffered a “great re-set” and had to start over. I know it sounds crazy but the things I can see carved in stone make me think it may be so.

Mortimer–with all respect–there is absolutely *no reason* to suppose that Romans committed genocide against Greeks. The did conquer them and absorb them into the Empire, but no Romans. Greeks, or foreign observers ever claimed that there was a genocide. More intermarriage, sure, but this is *not* the same as a genocide.

Whilst I was waiting to see dentist a 30 year old muslima was sat with what looked like a fresh from afghanistan man over 60, white turban headgear on, white skirt etc, you know the look, I did not see any payment being made. yeah, I got a finger to denote allah and it ain’t the index finger!!! Anyway, a side note about the empires that come out of the Bible…
For those that believe in the end times prophecies, this should be unsettling. many think it is the Roman Empire that will be reconstituted, but it was not the 7th empire – the Ottoman empire was the 7th empire and the 8th Empire will be a reconstituted Ottoman Empire.
The other previous empires were (not in order): Assyrian, Persian, Babylonian, Egyptian, Grecian, Roman – 5 were before John wrote his book and he lived in during the Roman Empire (6th). Then as the angel said, “one is” (the Roman Empire), and then the Ottoman Empire that John did not know about yet since it was not going to be until many centuries after John’s death. The seventh Empire (Ottoman empire) will be fatally wounded and then resurrected under the reign of the Antichrist. And that is what the moslems are working for today – to revive that caliphate, that Ottoman Empire.

Very sad and also inexplicable to read so many anti Greek comments that are irrelevant to this article. I would expect solidarity as this aggressive and illegal colonization does not happen only in Greece. Anyway thanks for the article, i had no idea (that we are in so much danger)
somehistory says
In looking over the many comments, I don’t see any that are anti-Greek. It seems most comments are mourning what has happened to a land of beauty and what has been called the “cradle of civilization and birth of democracy.” It seems most, if not all, are unhappy with the influx of mozlums bringing in their evil cult of death.
If you read comments on other threads, there is the same kind of thing for what is happening in the U.K., France, Germany and the U.S. , as well as other places where ilsam has made large inroads in the government and society.
Eratosthenes says
I do not want to point the finger at the two commentators who according to my perception wrote unjust (despicable to be precise) comments about Greece. That would distract the attention from the grown men of an anti woman culture that go to school with our daughters. God help us

well, if I did not read what you did, and I admit that I did not read every word, then perhaps those ones will recognize what you are saying and explain their comments.
It is awful that mozlums have been pretending to be children so they can get inside the country as “migrant children” and then to sit next to the real, and innocent children so as to molest them. I pray that God does, indeed, help us all.
