News from the globalists is becoming more shocking by the day, giving rise to further questions about whom to believe. Much talk has been circulating about a new world order and the Great Reset, and for good reason; despite the mockery of such discussions as “conspiracist” by Leftists and the willfully blind.
In a shocking interview, Spain’s former ambassador to Japan, Jorge Toledo Albiñana, stated that the European Union wants a “peaceful reunification” between China and Taiwan, with the end goal of having China “rule the world.” His surprising comments show that he does not support Taiwan’s independence, and it’s well known that neither Taiwan nor China will bend on the issue, so his use of the word “peaceful” is highly questionable.
Not only is Albiñana’s brazenness peculiar, but the possibilities of what his comments could signify is sobering. For example: what might the EU be cooking up with China? The globalist EU hasn’t exactly engendered trust among supporters of free societies. Albiñana’s statement was described as causing “an uproar among Taiwanese officials and other EU politicians,” and rightly so. “Just last month, Chinese and Russian officials publicly talked about their joint effort in creating what they call a ‘democratic world order.'” As if “democratic” were consistent with China and Russia. But that still leaves questions about the EU, which often also misuses the word “democratic”against any leader who supports responsible immigration, national sovereignty and rule of law.
Jorge Albiñana will replace Nicolas Chapuis as the new EU Ambassador to China in September. If his words were a diplomatic misstep, he may now be replaced. A Lithuanian Member of Parliament, Matas Maldeikis, who has expressed solidarity with Taiwan and is noted for slamming China, tweeted:
Meanwhile, China is tightening its authoritairan grip as it launches a new bid for internet dominance, following President Xi Jinping’s call for “cyber sovereignty” back in 2015. The goal is complete control of online activity by the Chinese Communist party, enforcing censorship and using surveillance.
European Union ambassador argues it’s ‘essential’ for Communist China to ‘rule the world,’” by Jack Bingham, LifeSite News, July 21, 2022:
(LifeSiteNews) — In a shocking interview, Spain’s former ambassador to Japan, Jorge Toledo Albiñana, said the European Union wants a “peaceful reunification” between China and Taiwan with the end goal of having China “rule the world.”
“The EU does not defend the independence of Taiwan but the peaceful reunification. We believe that there should be only one China,” Albiñana told Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia in an interview published last Sunday.
Albiñana also told the paper that the EU sees China as a “partner” on the global stage, and that it is “essential and necessary to have China to rule the world.”
Getting into specifics, Albiñana cited the COVID-19 so-called pandemic, Iran’s nuclear weapons program, and the alleged “climate crisis” as some of the pertinent issues the EU and world need China’s help with tackling.
As expected, Albiñana’s statement caused an uproar among Taiwanese officials and other EU politicians, who have strongly condemned the idea that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), which has never ruled Taiwan, should assume control of the sovereign island nation.
“Taiwan has never been part of the People’s Republic of China. The sovereignty of Taiwan belongs only to all the people of Taiwan, and only the people of Taiwan can decide the future of Taiwan,” reacted Taiwanese foreign ministry spokeswoman Joanne Ou.“Now is the moment to stand firm on the side of Taiwan,” EU Vice President of Parliament Nicola Beer said.
“No, we do not ‘need China to rule the world.’ Why are we sending an ambassador to negotiate our capitulation? It would be cheaper to send a white flag,” chimed in MP Matas Maldeikis of Lithuania.
Concern over the rapid growth of China’s influence on the world stage has been a hot-button issue in the West, particularly since the onset of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
Just last month, Chinese and Russian officials publicly talked about their joint effort in creating what they call a “democratic world order,” something that John Mearsheimer, international relations expert and professor at the University of Chicago, warned would happen if the West continued to push NATO expansion in Eastern Europe and thereby further alienate Russia.
According to Mearsheimer, while Russia would normally act as a natural ally with the West for the self-interested goal of keeping China’s hegemonic desires in check, America and NATO’s aggressive push to limit Russian influence in Europe has effectively thrown Russia into the arms of China, leading the two massive nations to form a mutually beneficial anti-Western and anti-American alliance…..
Kesselman says
Professor Mearsheimer is spot on about the Western allies’ encroachment on Russia. Time and again, Putin has argued about joint approaches toward various world issues especially concerns about Islamic terrorism. But to no avail.—Now, it’s obvious that the globalist liberal utopian elitists’ sympathy lies with CCP. China’s state of the art (economical-political dominance and a stern hold on the masses) impresses the quasi-fascists in DC and Brussels who always have envied China’s neo-national socialist reign.

Ah…I suppose “encroachment on Russia” means former Iron Curtain nations wanting to live free of the Russian heel.
Really, both Russia and China are totalitarian societies at this point.

Does this Spanish moron know that people like him will have no role in a Chinese ruled world? That’s one country that has enough people to spread around the world as governors, unlike in the case of the British empire

BRIBED !!

He should be fired immediately if not sooner by the EU parliament. He should be representing the interests of EU, rather than those of China.

I think this Spaniard and a whole lot of other people have been bought.
If you’re American, here’s your tax dollars at work:
In the period 19902-94, your Embassy and Consulates in China dutifully reported on human rights abuses in China, including religious persecution, use of prison and child labor, forced abortions, jailing of dissidents, etc. I myself even saw pre-adolescent girls as part of work teams on roads, and learned it’s a form of corvee labor. After all, Congress had passed legislation, so we complied. Yet Clinton’s Administration still pushed for permanent MFN status for Mainland China.

Spot on, Infidel.

why doesn’t he beat the crowd and just go on over and make some attempt to exist under the chinese rule?
Why wait for the big rush he wants to happen?
He should learn a little history before he makes with the big plan to help those who wish to kill off a huge block of the population of the world, esp the West.
People such as this loon need to be in a padlocked cell with only an inch square of sunlight to remind him of what it was over which he wished china to have complete control. feed him soggy rice and have no English spoken to him….or Spanish…only mandarin and that limited to two minutes a week.
mortimer says
I wonder if Jorge Toledo Albiñana is a friend of Hunter Biden who reportedly got $31 million in bribes from the Chinese.
somehistory says
I thought you knew everything. So, go ask him, why don’t you?
mortimer says
Jorge Toledo Albiñana has either been bribed or the Chinese communists have something on him … or both.

That, or there are just some who love authoritarianism and hate freedom.

No surprise here. The EU has laid out the red carpet for the Muslems, too.

Will the European Commission listen to Lithuania? I don’t know. I looked up Albinana’s bio. He is an experienced diplomat and probably faithfully represents the thinking of the European Commission that runs the EU.

If a high ranking EU-official says he wants China to rule the world there are basically 3 options; 1) he is crazy; 2) he is bought and paid for by the Chinese; 3) this is the official line of the EU – to support and perhaps even assist China in becoming “ruler of the world”. Even if the last option is the most bizarre and frightening option, I’m afraid it is also the one that is the most likely 🙁

Maybe not, Johnny:

In this case, Jorge Toledo Albiñana should be recalled.

…………………………………
Absolutely disgusting. Does Jorge Toledo Albiñana believe that China should rule Europe, as well?

This guy reminds me of Indian leftist communists who desire the same.

Awful, Devasur.
