Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, and Adam Kinzinger are one thing, but the biggest disappointment to his supporters and benefactors has got to be Chief Justice John Roberts. He was supposed to be a solid voice for judicial responsibility and sanity on the high court and instead has become, well, as if Mitt Romney were on the Supreme Court.
There is more. Read the rest here.

Roberts must be under pedo blackmail with Epstein or something. His actions make no sense as a conservative.

The Supreme Court is not a legislature.
But we saw UNELECTED judges CREATING LAW according to their own agendas. That is what happened with Roe v. Wade. The Supreme Court created law by inserting an intent that was never intended and could not have been intended within the mores of 18th and 19th centuries.
Rather than defend the original intent of legislated laws and rather than insist that the legislatures create the law, the Supreme Court deviated from its foundational purpose. They imposed and inserted a modern agenda into an old law. In so doing, they created a law.
The State legislatures and the Congress are the legislatures that create law. The Supreme Court is not a legislature.
Bruce Stanton says
Chief Justice Roberts has gone over to the Dark Side.

Roberts crossed over when he decided a penalty was the same as a ‘tax’ in his Obamacare ruling.

I saw this on the news feed yesterday. It is not surprising that he was making the attempt to have the Court rule in favor of the slaughter continuing. the headline said he was trying up until the “leak” went out to the public. Perhaps the “leak” came from someone who thought he wouldn’t keep trying once everyone expected the Court to rule correctly.
It has been suggested that the leaker was on the side of keeping the slaughter going, but as yet, no announcement if they have found the person who leaked it to the press. But, this just might have been an error, as it would be harder to convince one or more of the right-thinking…as in *correctly* thinking…Justices after it was leaked that it looked like an over-turning of the previous, grievous, ruling that women have a *right* to kill their babies.
I’m just glad he did not succeed in his wrong-headed effort. It’s best to get out all of an infection at once, as opposed to getting at it a little bit at a time, and then waiting for another opportunity to get to the rest.
women….and men….whether they know of what sex they are…have no *right* to murder unborn babies or to have another person murder their unborn babies.
And roberts should know this. and he should **care** and not be so inclined to side with the wrong bunch. there must be something seriously wrong with him…ethically or morally.

None of the five who voted to overturn Roe could change once that leak occurred. It would have exposed them as willing to cave under pressure from outside groups. Also, deliberations are traditionally carried out behind closed doors. Roberts says he is concerned with the ‘integrity’ of the Supreme Court. Had he continued to lobby Kavanaugh, it would have definitively exposed Roberts as another justice who could be cowed by outside pressure.

I agree. Once the public knew, if any of them changed their minds, it would have given such power to the mobs, nothing would be exempt from being pressured to change in the future.
Laws were broken by the mobs…arson, threats, attempted murder, and even protesting outside the homes of the justices…and nothing was done against them except arresting the one guy with the guns, and tape, etc.
If any one of them had changed their vote to overturn, it would have been the end of any ruling ever being ‘free’ of mob rule.
